After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.

I like the layout and clear instructions.
I searched in an auction cataglog and it cycled and showed me the whole catalog. I selected search again without changing any parameters and it worked. This happened more that once. Searching for auctions hasn't worked properly since the new hibid was released almost 2 years ago. Not to mention the dropped connection issues that happen during every auctoin closing that I watch. Luckily, it comes back, but loosing 30 seconds could cause me to miss an item I'm bidding on.
That's where most of my local online auctions are on.
I really like the online auction. You get a chance to view items in advance. The soft close is also a great thing.I have never had a problem with HiBid easy to register and easy to bid.I will continue to bid online.
The local auction I attended in person went to online with HiBid during covid so I registered with them and realized later that I could bid on other auctions that were using HiBid as well.
Hi Hibid,
I've bid on your auctions before, and won the bid. Shortly after, I was contacted by the company that was in charge of that bid.
I won a bid two days ago, and have not heard anything from them.
This was for a vacation package to the Grand Canyon.
I have heard nothing from the company I won the bid from. It has been two days.
Generally, the site provides all the functionality required for review of auction items and bidding. However, during the live bid of a recent auction my screen froze. To reengage, I had to back out and reinstate the application.
HiBid serves my local auction houses.
I'm not very savvy with phones, computers, or technology. Bidding on HiBid was so easy even I could do it. I bought several items and was very happy with the end result. I will definitely do it again.
A friend told me about it There were some items I was interested in bidding on so thought I would give it a try.
The entire lot was fake autographs and listed a real authentic autographs absolutely disgusting and needs to be taken seriously because people are paying hard earned money just to be ripped off by there scam artist
* HiBid attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond
Do not purchase from Amaze Deals. First, they charged my account PRIOR to be winning the bid. Second, they did not confirm shipping with me. Third, the packaging was so poor, the machine arrived and does not function properly (see image). There are small dents all around the machine and it does not close all the way.
Tip for consumers:
Do not purchase from Amaze Deals!
I watched the timer count fine to zero and then "closed" onn4 items I was winning. I have heard nothing from the auction, no auto email that I have won. Sent the auction a message, nothing. I will monitor my credit card and see. Auction was for cosmetics in Oregon City, OR.
No reply yet.
I subscribe to several states auctions.
Overall I definitely recommend using hibids, I've had a great experience using it. My only complaint I've had is, every so often an auction will be laggy when it's live and (using an iPhone browser, google chrome) it will take multiple taps for it to register anything I do. But honestly it's probably just a phone only issue and it doesn't happen often.
HiBids seemed like it had the most auctions listed out of any other website I’ve seen. It also has a nice user interface and it is very easy to navigate.
1st time bidding. It was easy to sign up, easy to bid, and I won the zero turn mowers! The follow up email with details on when and where to pick up was prompt. Very good experience, I'll be back to bid again!
Saw an ad on Facebook, looked intriguing
I use HiBid fairly often because I can find lots of good estate sales. However, using the HiBid app is next to impossible, and the website is not much better. The app constantly locks up and has to be shut down. Not at all good for bidding on auctions; it locks up, delays, and fails to refresh so often you will lose bids hassling with the app. It does have considerably better search ability than the website (the only reason I keep the app).
The website is the only way I trust to bid on auctions, however the lack of search capabilities of the website make hard to find auctions in my area, without using the Map feature. The map is interesting but it is a painfully slow way to find auctions ending soon in my area. Also, I really don't like the layout of the website. The catalog pictures are small and the text is hard to read. Many other auction sites have much more visually appealing websites.
I use it because so many auction companies use it. There are lots of good estate sales. I do like the search ability of the app.
The bids were to end at 7:41 my time. I upped my bid at 7:40 even though I was winning. Hibid accepted a bid at 7:41:05 that topped mine. I was on line and as soon as I was outbid I tried to raise my bid and hibid blocked me. Guess you are not allowed to bid till 7:41:59
HiBid is very easy to use. After registering to bid within a specific auction, bidding on any of the items within the auction is a very easy, 2 click process. I love the real time timer countdown shown for each item, as well as the ability to see the items you are winning or have been outbid on.
Purchased several pokemon items from sullo enterprises in successive auctions. The first one arrived and was fake, it didn't match the pictures shown in the auction (this was an internet only auction). I was able to be refunded via PayPal for two but still waiting on the third, which was incidentally the highest.
I have had great experiences in the past.
Bidner hybrid was very simple and easy with all kinds of acceptability to a great experience for anyone looking to bid on items in the futureI'
I would recommend this for anybody for a first time experience, exciting and fun to do to look for items that you would never find anywhere else for the prices you may get here
Have a whole range of items that I’d like to bid on and looking for to my bench
Everything was going fine over 70 of the items sold then the auctioneer or hibid put a pause on the auction after I had already won two items. They reopen the auction for more bidding from lot one on thus in turn me losing the items i had already won
It is a good platform
Big d discount advertise stuff as new and when you go pic it up it's mostly used or broken I'm telling you because my friend referred me to you guys and he told me to be careful which auction you bid on some are just scammers just like big d
It was a little hard to maneuver around the web site but I found an auction I liked. Bidding was easy and I won some awesome stuff. Then the communication from the auctioneers was great. Payment was made and pick up was accomplished without a hitch.
I heard about an awesome auction with things I wanted
They need to be made to have more than one photograph for items ( front- back) that may be of value or not a well known item and more of a description in the notes of any damage or repairs if possible...information information, information, and when a buyer messages about an item there should be a reply at the least if the questions are asked in a good timely manner for the auctioneer. Ths is for all not just one certain auctioneer. I enjoy hibid and will keep bidding but those are my beefs 😁😁
I believe it s a trusted site that checks the auctions and auctioneers back ground and references. Well ihope 😁😁
I was looking for specific items and a local auction house posted the exact item at least that's what the description said. I put in a max bid with 5 days left on the auction. I made my bid so I could lock in the item and hoping to get the item. The problem was I got bid up to my max bid but the description changed on the item from 24k gold to 24k (gold bonded) gold. Basically I was spending $1200+ dollars on a $50 item. When initially as posted it would have been a $2000+ item
Everytime I use hibid I have connectivity problems during the live auction. I'm not able to bid straight from the live auction page I have to do it from the catalog so I don't get to see the time wind down correctly.
It's the only auction site I know of.
Hi,
I left a message about today's auction with PHX Auction Co and an issue I had when bidding on an item. The item was an industrial vacuum and was at $24 at the time I was outbid. When I went to increase my bid all the way up to $54 it had placed it on the item next to it, a hunter's tent that in no way was interested in. Not sure what you can or verify what happened, but I would appreciate it if you could cancel and refund me.
Regards,
Karl Jensen
You would log in. Registered to bid. Sometimes it would let you bid sometimes not. App keeps crashing. At times it will not let you log in. I've lost numerous things that I wanted to bid on. Because it would not let me. I've called in several times no one has returned my call yet. Done on a android phone.
No one has called me back yet.
$#*!ey's auction got me started with Hibid.
This software keeps locking up a lot too frequently, A lot of time the closing time is off and a few times tells you are outbid on and when you get there they tell you that you won,A lot of times either the site is unreachable or server reboots really needs a overhaul
