After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
Yes I won three bids they were fast to collect and charge me shipping after two months and sending texts and e-mails they keep coming up with reasons it did not ship I would say all other auction that I have won on other sites have been great but here is a VERY BAD AUCTION HOUSE

I enjoy online auctions! I loved going to auctions in person, but they don't do them in my area anymore. Pictures of items are great quality which is important.
I like the bidding process, it is easy.
I lose my interested to bid because have Bot inside ( Autobid) good for the owner not for the costumer
You guys set a minimum $5 as well and the 1st time so excited and all the good items liquidation...
I suggest remove your auto bid ( BOT)

Bidding went down to the wire. I thought I'd lost the bed last seconds; but happy to know I won.
A rifle I wanted came up; followed for 20+days.
There was an auction a fair distance (180mi) that I "watched". Two large items I would have been willing to travel. One item was not a needed item. This was done over 10 days from the live auction. (Online only). I never went back to the auction online. When the auction was over, I got an email that said thanks for the payment and I won one item. It was the low cost not "needed" item. They never got a bid on it and I was charged the starting bid but X 84. It was sheet metal that they were charging by the foot. It was 10 pieces. So now I don't know how to get them to acknowledge I did not bid. I don't know if the auction platform of the auction had the ability to place bids on your behalf. They do increase you max bid I do know.
I assume they are not going to take responsibility for it.
And while filling out this review. They request you leave a photo. I went to to auction amd copied the auction photo and they say that photo is not 300x300 so can not use it. Wtf?

Do not use the watch if you are a gluten for punishment.
If not, please save yourself the hassle and bid elsewhere.

The best thing was I could always get a real person on the phone if I had question or other customer service. Nice to have shipping on smaller items. Large variety!

Great site for auctions, great place to look for things you want without the hassle of bumping into someone just to be seen. Short people like myself has these issue.

I like their variety of items within their many auctions
For the most part I like Hbid auctions however Indian River Auctions is not good. I bid on and won 6 pieces of vintage fiesta ware kitchen kraft with the labels. First they reached out to me for payment the day after the auction ended (I had sent an email when the auction ended about payment and shipping). Stated that their shippers would not be in until Wednesday which was 2 days after the auction ended. I was cool with that. Did not hear from anyone for over a week so I reached back out to them. They do not answer emails or their phones. Finally reached out to hbid customer service. 2 days later I received an email that my item shipped (my items packed but did not ship for 2 more days). I was so excited to receive my items. When I received my items my heart sank as one of the bowls was broken clearly when it was being packed not in shipping. Again I reached out to Indian River Auctions and have never received an answer to how to proceed. This auction shop of hbid has soured me on bidding on hbid ever again. I paid a lot of money for these pieces and got ripped off. I will be looking for a different online auction site.

This site could really work but instead it favors the cheating auction houses and punishes those bidding. It allows auctioneers to go in and see what the bidders max bid is and drive the auction up to their max bid or enter bids after the auctions close and the bidders were shown online they won till they look later and see that they no longer did. This site allows auction houses to RATE CUSTOMERS and kick them from bidding but DOES NOT allow customer the return to rate the auction houses so customers would know which ones really are cheaters. Hi Bid protects those cheaters and punishes the customers instead. Changes need to be made, if an Auction house can rate customers then the customers should be able to rate them also, maybe that would force them to be more honest and stop cheating the customers. This is why HiBid has such low ratings among consumers.

be careful when bidding and see if the auction house has any local ratings.
Overall its pretty easy to spend money ( bid) on items, be nice if there was a text alert option for items coming up? Like 10-15 items before a watched item is coming.
It has a lot of sales although searching within a certain geographic area ( IE: 100 miles from) is really clunky and I get more chaff than wheat.

They allow fake items to be sold on their site. They do not hold any auctioneer accountable who does this either. Jeff Robinson Auctions and Estate Sales sold me two fake gold chains and I supplied proof and they did NOTHING. Said it wasn't their business or some other weak excuse. Do yourself a favor and avoid Hibid and Jeff Robinson Auctions and Estate Sales

It is put on your feedback by other bidders who want you out of the way so they can get all the bids and good prices. Hibids system allows this to happen, and will not do any thing about it.

If you outbid other resellers they will place bad bogus feedback on your profile and you cannot bid against or bid on anything again.They need a system to double check this so it does not happen.
Three different guys help me pick up my purchases. One of them even rode on my trailer to hold a wood cookstove as I slowly moved across the lot to the next items.
