They represent many shady auctions co's just like Proxibid. These guys might be a little worse. You will be overcharged! You will have ghost bidders bidding you up! JUST LIKE PROXIBID! You will have auction co's charging you all kinds of fictitious fees. Put it this way. If your bidding on firearms on this site then buyer beware! YOU WILL BE OVERCHARGED FOR EVERYTHING.

On more than few items can be a little nerve-racking with the dings and buzzers and things to keep track of so know what you want and go for what you need

To be sure, there are many reputable auction houses around but when you are met with one that is not, this platform will, in no way, stand behind what is right, what is just or truthful if you are taken advantage of by a disreputable auction house. I have had my lots i have won at fantastic prices refused to be sent to me because they were "unfortunately" lost by the auction house who decided, after the fact, that they did not want to sell it for what i won it for. Crooked auction houses have overcharged me, refused to provide me with a written running total of my balance due presumably because of the fact they cannot add correctly or because they just want to keep more of your money and despite missing or lost lots, still refuse to return my money i have sent. People at this platform will blather on and act sympathetic to you but, truth be known, they won't do anything on your behalf to their auction house clients who pay them part of the money they are stealing from you. As a bidder, if you find yourself in such a circumstance, you are on your own. Hibid is only as good as the auction house you are dealing with.

At pick up they were very helpful and helpedus load our purchases. They also gave us an old moving blanket to protectour furniture. Very friendly too!

Hibid has connected me with so many great vendors. I have not only been able to expand my collection of collectibles, but I've been able to grow my refurbish and resell business.

They quickly resolved my issue to the best of their ability.

I just notice PALMYRA NJ HOME IMPROVEMENT AUCTION keep adding time to the countdown many many times when the time is closer to expire, even there is no additional bid. And Hibid allow them to do so. Scam Business.

Mostly everything is easy, but when I put a note on an item the note doesn't show up until I click the little pencil again. I would like to see my note without clicking on the pencil

This could be a great platform and there are some decent honest ACTUAL auctioneers on here but there are also a lot of scammers selling on here and its really hard to differentiate until you expeirnce it. I would suggest save your time, energy, and money and not have to learn the hard way.

Bought some items and spent thousands of dollars to only be sent cheap fake jewelry which was not what was described or listed. Same company shill bids and most things sell to a "floor bidder". Only for every single item that sold to a "floor bidder" get relisted and re auctioned each week.

I was in their auction and these knives sold to a floor bidder so the lot was passed online. Its outlined in red showing I didnt win. Come to find out, after the auction, they charged my credit card for the original bid I put in, days AFTER my other invoice was paid for with other items I did actually win. I recieved my package and these knives were in there a long with a seperate sheeted invoice fo rthat item as well. So its clearly obvious that they were shill bidding and then went back in and used my last bid as the winning bid. BTW the knives are not Tiffany & Co and not even sterling silver. They are clearly marked Nickel Silver, so they misrepresent and lie abotu their items. That is not just a simple oversight. But the same thing happend on other items sold as fine or precious metals and they were not as they were clearly marked with other markings.

I even tried reporting this to HiBid and was told they cannot do anything about it, they dont have any recourse on scam sellers and that they would continue to allow them to sell on the platform. The only thing they would do for me is reach out to the "auctioneer" on my behalf.

BTW when you google the company's address they are in a tiny office suite inside a coporate building. They dont have the space or means to actually conduct live onsite auctions with real floor bidders.

I found getting registered was very easy and bidding easy. Went next day and picked up items bought next day and they were very nice and helpful on getting my oil cans

I just signed on to Hibid.com. I was excited about bidding. I found some items and bid. Next thing I know. I buy a tackle box for 10.00, I think, good deal. Then I get shipping for 53.90 for shipping. WTF Are you kidding me? I got this all figured out.
The auction houses give you very little details for shipping. Then they pass it too someone else that charges high amounts for shipping. They get kick backs I bet for shipping from their FRIENDS AT THE SHIPPING PLACE. This shipping part of the deal is the money maker I think for them. When you realize the shipping is high, people say screw it and then they turn around and sell items again! BIG SCAM They don't want you to know shipping is very high, so they can screw you! RUN AWAY. WRITE A REVIEW AND CRUSH THEM WITH NEGATIVE COMMENTS! SAVE US FROM SCAMMERS!

Easy to bid on items using this site. The only issue I have is when I click on an item then return to the listings, it takes me all the way to the beginning instead of to the item I was looking at.

I love Hi-Bid! My only complaint is that the app doesn't work as well as the website. You can't bring up all the pictures of lot items on the app that You can when using the website.

Have used auctions in the past and this one is exceptionally run and the merchandise is great quality

They print pics from internet and sign it themself and pass it off as real. They then advertise it as no COA to try and cover their butts when it comes back inauthentic and fake. Avoid

Auction was scheduled for 6am closing. After closing in am, aution opened up at 6pm and bidding started on same items. I don't think that was Hibids fault, more like shoddy auctioneers.

Very quick to resolve password issues.

When buying from warehouse sales, this is what has repeatedly happened to me: The auction will list an item, complete with brand name, images, and description. You bid and win. When you go to pickup your item, it's different. A lesser quality or lower end model. You'll be told they made a mistake and uploaded the wrong item. You'll be told they have thousands of items, it happens. You'll be told they have someone new on staff. You'll be given the option to take a full refund and leave the item or pay the price of your bid and keep lesser item they have. That's it. Those are the only choices. Of course, you're going to take the lesser item. It's a scam. You're paying more for something of lesser quality than you expected. They know this. Maybe you wouldn't have bid had you know. But you did. They've already run your card. You've already driven across town. You likely have plans for this item - whatever it is. It's a complete bait and switch. This has happened to me multiple times with different auction houses. Furniture and electronics. Just beware that you won't get exactly what you're expecting.

Hibid computer system is inadequate to keep up with the demand. Bids are delayed, reporting is delayed and mistakes are happening real time. Many problems not one.

Very happy with my bidding experience. Everything was listed nicely and had good photos. Auctions were easy to get to. Thanks for providing an easy way to get to the auctions I want to see.

Most of the auctioneers are scammers there.
Placed a bid, had no minimum bid price mentioned.
Won the the lot, they told min price was higher, which was never mentioned.

Called in the morning about a particular lot. They told us when it would sell but it went two hours earlier than they told us so we weren't able to bid.
