After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
Not happy with experience, the app stopped working while I was actively bidding and I lost items that I wanted
Only app avaliable
I had a hard time using the online auction i was bidding on a item and it had disapeared when the item had a few minutes left
Bontrager steam show auction
I like using Hibid there are so many options from different auction houses. Site runs quickly without down time.
Just had a question and they responded quickly
You win on some items, but be aware read discriptions and study pictures. Over all good company to deal with
Years ago ot was one of a few.
I gotta say, I'm content with everything I won from bidding and I found that it's actually worth the price
I can't remember how I chose y'all. I think my brother recommended you guys
Man this was the most exixiting bidding i have ever done... its one hell of a experience i think this is the only place i will bid on agaian
I looked up actions and o found i5 looking through google
I have participated in a half dozen online auctions and the site worked smoothly for all of them. Three separate sellers and all were without problems bidding or settling. My only complaint is how each seller adds admin fees that are not reflected in the bid totals as the auction happens. A calculator function would be helpful.
Many auctions, easy to use interface.
I received an empty box from wise auction 212 winding ridge rd Everett, PA *******. I received the package and when I opened it I go to find every individual item in the box has had the most important contents removed and was left with the non important items. I bought a brick. When I went about reaching them for help they ignored my calls then proceeded to text me the no refund policy instead of calling me back. They basically told me to F off. No help whatsoever. First bid/purchase and I got robbed for my money. Beware if you get sold a brick ur left on your own. Definitely do not purchase anything from wise auctions. Don't spend too much money on here unless you are willing to lose it all with no reimbursement.
Tip for consumers:
Beware to everyone purchasing through them
My whole experience on bidding was fun and exciting! It was easy to see details and photos of each product up for auction. The catalog was easy to navigate. Loved the experience!
Always have a great experience but recently, I was the top bidder, thought I won, showed I won but only to find out there was a reserve not met.
This is the platform my auctioneers are using.
Your website is the easiest site of all I use. And the employees at the auction site. Are the best, very friendly and helpful. I am a dealer, and I appreciate the professional service from start to finish.
Saw it on Facebook and thought I would give it a try
If there is reserves on an item it needs to be shown. Several times I bid on something to be outbid immediately. They need to show what they are before we bid.
It covers the local auctions. Would much rather to have an imperson auction though.
Just recently started bidding on-line and specifically HI Bid Auctions. I have bid and won multiple times with both finding good buys and a couple of "know what you're bidding on before you bid" on items. All bidding was easy and fun and a rush to watch as the timer ticks down and announce that you won. I have gotten a couple friends to start bidding and now they are having fun on their own. Highly recommend, just wish I started online bidding years ago.
Answered any and all questions I had on shipping.
Hi Bid was easy and seeing auctions that were from around the country not just my local area on just one site made sense.
Online auctions are the way to go for me. Stress free bidding from anywhere you have access to the internet.
I recently had a terrible experience on this site that I think needs to be addressed by your administration. I recently saw a auction by BisManBids Auction 5744 -7033 for firearms. As with many auctions the current bid was only $300 with only 1 bid on a firearm that I knew was worth $1900 MSRP. I then entered a bid of $340. The next screen prompted me to make sure the bid was correct and explained that if I win the final amount would be between $417-$428 due to buyers premium etc. I clicked submit to enter the bid. However my bid was entered as $3500. I immediately attempted to contact the seller (6 different emails) in attempt to cancel the bid. No response
The following day the auction concluded and I of course won. Further looking into the seller I came across over 40 reviews of BisManBids with very negative reviews. Many complaints about the seller is bidding on his own items to raise the prices of his items, wont communicate with buyers, does not actually have the items he is selling, being investigated by law enforcement for legal issues, changing names and address, having a expired FFL license and illegally selling firearms including on HIBIDS.
When I finally received a response from this seller ( only after threatening to contact the ATF regarding his expired FFL license) he would only say that based on his terms and conditions he reserved the right to accept of bid or cancel the bid. I have since explained this scam to my credit card company to ensure the transaction did not go through. However now, the seller is attempting to get me to pay a 25% cancelling fee when something very shady happened. In the sellers own terms and conditions he stated "We may cause our software to bid up to the amount of that reserve in order to keep the item from selling under the reserve price." Interesting that this seller has a "software" that bids up his items? Did this same software change my $350 bid to $3500? Even after stating multiple times that a $3500 bid on a $1900 item was a obvious error, the seller would not agree to cancel the bid. Please help the auction and do the right thing and ban this man from illegally selling firearms on your website. Thank you
I have always enjoyed looking for a deal.
I no longer get statment of what i have won from all business of HiBid always have to get them to make a copy for me also dont get a email that i won
Called and talked to HiBid and the person i talked to said it's the business that i won from has the problem of sending statement out
Took a while to swiitch from watchlist to live bidding. Missed bidding on a few items because of this
Only place that has auction's
I just lucked into winning a PS5. I was going through the pages and stumbled across it and bid as it was closing!
I heard an ad on the radio. I an hoping a lot more trustworthy than Facebook marketplace. I was afraid to buy a PS5 from there hoping this works.
I'm very pleased with Hi Bid except during the Auction when I want to be in the catalog and it keeps taking me back to the bidding.
It is the on line format Mishler Auction uses and I like their Auction company.
Overall mediocre experience. Items refreshing every 30 seconds can be a bit unsettling when the item is closing at almost the same moment. It makes it difficult to complete a bid when the screen suddenly refreshes. Another issue we had was on the sellers end where an item was an electric kitchen appliance and it did not work at all when we got it home. Obviously we did not intend to purchase an item that was trash, that was disappointing. Another suggestion would be to have sizes of items listed or shown in the pictures. I purchased some wooden blocks for my granddaughter thinking they would be average (2") wooden blocks, since no measurements were given and there was nothing in the picture to compare them to, I was quite surprised to find that they are tiny - only 1" each which is far too small for a young child to play with.
Looked like some good items were available.
Easy to use. Really like that I don't lose my place when I look at the details of an item.
Only thing like it, easy to get enrolled, and easy to use. Can't pull up just my bids to look at but it's not much trouble to search by lot number.
The site worked well as expected. I liked how I could set the site to show 100,50, or 25 items. It just went smoothly. I was very happy about it.
Sheboygan Discount Warehouse used it, and it worked well.
I found it tricky for me to sign and get my credit card approved but with some help got it done!
Heard it was good often with some lovely things!
I was fortunate enough to win several items. Everything went smoothly and enjoyed having time to up my bid at the end. Well done!
