After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
I put a watch on other items in other auctions but, I can't find them. Trying to narrow down auctions in my area is extremely difficult.

At the pick up in South Gate. The people there are really good. They know there work. But on the site now that's a different story. There's no real direction

Using these auction services is addictive. I was able to win a few items I have bid on. Don't enter a bid unless you really know you want that item.
I wanted to be able to make attempts on random items.
The items listed had detailed descriptions and the bidding process was very easy to navigate. I will definately be using this service in the future. After the auction ended I was sent an invoice with pickup and shipping options. Everything went very smoothly.
I choose Hibid because of the differrent auctions that are available. A lot of variety and the ease of use.
The site is user friendly, easy to navigate. Registering was quick easy and i was able to purchase a very nice lot of antique glass for a very reasonable price.

I have been bidding with Hibid for quite some time now and always had very positive experiences. Last night. I was biding on an item # 9, going back and forth with another bidder. I placed my final bid and was outbid by someone. The next thing I knew I got a message saying I won the item # 10 in the auction. I didn't even have this item on my watch list. I would really like to hear from someone at Hibid to correct this because I don't want this item. I called and left a voice message on your line so I hope someone will give me a call on Tuesday to resolve this matter.

As a first time user, I enjoyed the experience and found the site relatively easy to use. The only drawback I found was not knowing what an item sold for once it closed, especially an item I was bidding on, but did not win. Perhaps I just didn't know where to look.
That's where the items I wanted to bid on were being auctioned.

There were items that caught my attention, I like to bid online.
I bid $10 pre bid in an item & was outbid? Sold for $10 to someone else even though I had a high bid of $10. Doesn't make sense pre bid should always win over new bids.
Was easy and loved all of it. Great experience. N ok one knows who's going to bid and that's the excitement trying to win a lot.

The HiBid auction site works well and is easy to use but I had a problem paying for the items that I won. I registered for the auction on the HiBid site about a week before the auction and won two items on a local auction. The next morning, I got an email that my credit card had been rejected and I had to make payment within 24 hours. Not and issue for me, but the message did not say how to correct the problem and pay for my items.
I sent an email to the auction company early in the morning asking how to make payment, then called their local number and left a message asking how to pay. Shortly thereafter I got an email stating that the auction company would send me an invoice and I had to pay within 24 hours of the auction. Later in the morning got a call back from a very nice woman and she restated that I would get an invoice. No invoice came by later in the morning, so I went to the HiBid auction site and reentered my credit card information and got charged $1.00 per HiBid site rules. Then got two emails, one saying I had won my bids and the second asking how I wanted the items delivered. Great, that seemed good, but my credit card wasn't charged for the items by late afternoon. So to be sure, I sent another email late in the afternoon asking for an invoice, just in case my credit card would not be charged within the required 24 hours.
The invoice came at 10:38 pm that night...after the 24 hour time limit had expired and after I had gone to bed. I got up this morning and saw the invoice had come in. I paid the invoice just a few minutes ago...at around 6:10 am, so by HiBid rules, I was late paying. Hope that this is good enough and there will be no problem picking up my items.

This was my first online auction experience. Since the instructions were easy to follow it went well. The soft closing was the only thing with which I had an issue. One of the items on which I had bid had its time extended about 10 minutes past its originally scheduled time of closing and it had a blinking strip that said "live bid" which I didn't understand and was fearful that I was going to be outbid on the item.
I was invited by a relative was having the auction of some family possessions.
The entire experience was very easy to complete and I am pleased with my auction purchases.

I have used HiBid for many years. It is easy to find auctions hosting items of interest.bidding process is easy, especially on soft-close bids.invoicing and payment efficient.
Very pleased with how everything went and how easy it was to use
It is difficult to register on. Your catalogs sometimes don't load smoothly on cell phones. I lose my place on online auctions when your site cuts out. I can't change my e-mail address. I have ro do work arounds to register with different auctioners.

It was easy to follow on the website and it told you what you needed to know and excellent pictures. The only downfall was I didn't get an email when I was out bided. I had to keep checking the website. Other than that it was great.
