After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
The only draw back was when it got down to under a minute, and someone else outbid me, it was hard to keep tabs if I wanted to view the next lots selling and go back to the one I was trying to get.
Recommendation from a family member
The only way it could've been better would have been a more seamless transition between looking at my bids, and being able to place another bid.

Product descriptions did not match photos of items. Some were completely different.
Has a good variety of items
I was able to get all the items that I bid on this round. It's very easy to use and be updated. During the live auction, I could bid on items I may have wanted.

Had items I was looking for!
At first the site would only update with 60 second intervals. Later it went back to ticking off the minutes and seconds. I like that much better. Otherwise, I love HiBid and will continue doing business with you
Had no problems with bidding. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that items at the end of auction items jump to live bidding and you have to chase them to another screen.
It has items that I want.
I am new and enjoy the platform, the auctions using brand new photos to describe items is deceiving, you really need to look close at the item photos some are quite used. The platform was simple except took a bit to realize it will auto bid for you, if you put in a higher max bid.

I enjoyed the auction but when I had the bid and someone bid over me it wouldn't let me bid again. So I didn't get it.
Close to where I live
I've been bidding, using HiBid for quite a while. I've got nothing bad to say from my end, but speaking to auctioneers, I've heard complaints of your costs.
I bid on a lot of on online Auctions, and this is very convenient, and easy to use.
It was great! It would be nice to maybe have one more pick up day added.

Nice platform. The only suggestion I have is to include a time when the end of bidding starts.
I called, was told due to bad weather had technical problems with printer and sending emails out, I could come pick up bid items, provided address via text message
Did not receive invoice for my bid purchase, was told when I picked up items, that they did not have paper copy, I could take a picture of invoice with my cell phone if I needed a copy, did not offer to resend invoice to my email?
Lots to bid on! But a long time and the pics were not very well focused, far away, not the Auctioneers fault. Make time to visit in person and view items or be prepared for what you receive. Also beware the shipping costs as they have risen tremendously, again not the Auctioneers fault. As a retiree, a 2-3 ht drive each way can still be a bit much for a couple of items.

Great auction but I couldn't keep up at closing.
I'm new at this online bidding with everything closing at once. Just got to find a way to remove what I no longer Want to bid on.
The auction had great stuff that I wanted.
Once registered (easy) the items being auctioned were available to examine by photograph and the bidding process was easy to understand and follow.
The online auction was run thru HiBid. Not sure i had a choice but it didnt matter, everything went smooth as silk.
I was actively competing with another bidder for an item near the closing time and every time someone would bid excess time was added to the closing time. We made a total of 30 or so bids and it took forever for the item to actually close. On some bids the clock would go from under 4 minutes to over 7 minutes remaining. This happened multiple times. This is way too long to wait. Other auctions I've participated don't increase the time unless the close is under 2 minutes and then it will increase back to 2 minutes. This is a great way to do it in my opinion. It took well over a half hour for the lot I was bidding on to actually close. Way too long.
Saw the auction in an email.
I had an issue HiBid helped work it out. Apparently these auction houses use the same program and are tied together. Thus, they create a social score for bidders. I am not good with that. Howe ever have fun, keep invoices.

The site froze and I missed bidding on a few items I wanted, after I restarted site I was able to
Bid, but missed some articles I was interested in.
It was what the auctioneer used, so I had no choice but to bid on that site.
I expected a fairly prompt notice of my winning bids, along with a paid invoice and instructions for arranging shipping. Auction ended on Thursday and it is now Saturday. No emails. No texts. No phone calls. Crickets. Guess I will have to complain to Customer Service and hope for the best.

Thank you for your feedback. The timing regarding auction closing adjusts to however many bids are still being placed on the lot, much like a live auction. If another bid is received before closing, more time will be allotted for the remainder of bidders to continue bidding at the new price.
