After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
In the past I been overall satisfied with Hibid, I recently got new phone and number so I set up a new account and downloaded the app, I never used the app before. And honestly I not impressed really with it. I most of the time don't use it and go via website
The app glitches out and shuts down, especially when scrolling, the time is way off from the watch list to actual life time, that sucks especially when you are bidding on a few items at once and they are close together and getting bid up. Both these issues cost me some of tens I really wanted
Them you have the fact the app is missing so many features I use. Looking for an auction is next to impossible, as the map won't leg me narrow down Then looking for a product is a chore. If you want to look at an item you viewed and didn't put in watch list You have to scroll entitle page. On the web you' can skip via going to page xxx Then if you saved the item in watch. You can't go see items around it. Often items are sectioned together. So you have to scroll sometime forever to find it Via app. Web you can skip ahead in catalog at least but both need a look at next item on the watch item list Also search auctions by zip code needed for the app. Or by city.
Hi bid really needs to clampdown on those with outrageous postage fees. Lots of chatter online about this. I am surprised that auctions are still doing it., the the fact that a lot of auctions are unaware how to charge the correct sales tax. Or even know if they are a state that charge via destination or shipped from.

Bidding was fun and Pick up was very easy. However I attempted to contact the local ATX regarding one of the items. But I was unable to reach them by email. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Seems to be safe and secure and the platform is easy to use.
Clear postings, lots of pictures, great variety. I can't think of a negative thing to say.
Learned about them from a local auction house and have found several more auctions in my area to bid on!

I've been played by two separate auction houses for around $40 each. I won, I paid, never received. Just completely ignored. I called one them over and over and left several messages. Nothing. These businesses should be able to be rated and kicked off the site for shoddy business practices. They get away with it - no discipline. Very annoying.
This online auction was not the best experience.
At the end, it was very confusing if I had the high bid or not. Which made it equally confusing to know if I had one or not.
The communication between the auctioneer and the bidders Could have been better in my opinion.
I called the auctioneer and he was helpful.
Because I was interested in the items from the particular auction he had.
They were closing many lot numbers at same time. If you were bidding on several lots, it was hard to keep up. Need to close one item at a time before going to next item.

A 1 day window is not enough when I live 2 hrs away. If I had known this I would not have bid.
I thought I bought four travel trailers because I was high bidder! I have not heard anything back until now

The interface can be confusing. Once a sale is selected, the interface can switch to all sales.
One item i got outbidded on, when the live bid started, I tried to raise my bid at the last minute, when I clicked live bid it changed pages and I couldn't find the item until it was over. I say do away with the live bid and let it continue till it's over.
Close auctions
It was fine but I had like 6 or 7 guns i was bidding on and it went so fast I missed out on at least 3 guns,
Kind of disappointing. Especially when you add 3 minutes then it would stay up.
Try bidding on your phone guys! As i travel alot and do not always have access to my laptop.

Not only do I work for a large auction house, but this was my first time using this platform. I use many auction houses. I have never been charged without an invoice presented to me. I have yet to receive a invoice but I have been charged. Can someone please supply me with an invoice?
I was told invoices were not processed yet, but that payment was.
We were looking into what this platform could provide. As someone who specializes in jewelry, luxury handbags, and rare coins; there were many things that caught my eye.
I like that you can place a maximum bid and the program bids for you up to your maximum so you don't have to continue to bid each time you are outbid.
I was first bidder on lot 781, less than 2 minutes till closing and before the time was updated the lot disappeared and I don't know if I won the lot or another bidder bid. Four hours later I still don't know the outcome!
As a new person to this on line shopping estate sale it was a nice find. It is more convenient. I had a few things to figure out as a new person to this world, but now that it is figured out it's been so nice. I love it.
They seem to be in my neighborhood.
Auction bidding went well and I'm pleased that the addition percentage was more reasonable that others well known platforms.
Saw the auction advertised in monthly antiques newspaper
First time with this company. The setup of items was easy to view, and the process of bidding was simple as well. Definitely look forward to future auctions.

Auction companies can share reviews of the buyer with other auction companies throughout the Hibid platform. Therefore other auction companies can ban a buyer they choose without response/explanation from the buyer. The buyer, however, has no recourse with a bad auction company and can't leave reviews on Hibid. If you complain to the auction company, they ban you and leave a bad review even though it was their fault.
They have a monopoly in the auction business. I have not found any other platform that performs like Hibid. While they have a monopoly, it is a good auction platform, but is only as good as the auction companies that subscribe. I have no idea how to contact Hibid if I needed help.
Lots of choices! Easy to narrow down your target. The auction houses really like help.

I knew the owner of items
The site it self was well organized, easy to follow and informative. The only aspect that caused my score of 4 stars instead of 5 was the repeated occurrence of having to refresh the site. I came close to losing the item I was bidding on when my screen froze in the final minutes. Other than that A1.
