After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
Just as the auction bidding was about to close, they changed the date from Friday evening to Sunday evening. The auction company instructions stated not to bid if could not pick your items on Saturday. They then changed the pickup date to Monday. Why have an ending date if you cannot stick to it? I don't think was HiBid's problem. If you publish a date, you should stick with it.
I have used HiBid's on numerous auctions. This was a first for me,
Professional staff. Answer questions in reasonable time, and are supportive of the Buyer. Terms are reasonable.
An Auction House in NV
As you can see in the picture attached site says you are bidding on 10 items, They are very misleading with this the trees i paid my bid price per tree but the culivator teeth right beside it were for the lot as expected. I usually have a great experiance with HIBID but this auction was terrible and cost me $5000.00 more than what I thought i was bidding because of the way it is listed. Pickup was snet out that all big equipment was to be picked up the saturday and sunday and all smaller items were to be picked up Monday in time slots. It was a sh&t show all big items were still there owner was driving the telehandler around and yelling like a crazy man. Not at all a good experience was there for over 2 hours parked on the side of the road. Really not happy that I bid $100 for a lot of 10 trees and got charged $1000 really not happy with this auction and not sure I will ever use it again.
I liked the process, the website is user friendly.
I will definitely be looking at more online auctions.
It was my first time so I asked how to pay.
It all worked out and they gave a response in good time.
I went to a local auction and they named a website to look at for their upcoming auctions.
I found this one while scrolling through.
First time bidder, I did not know what to expect. I bid on things before I was aware there was a description listed. Then I prayed that someone would bid higher. I was fun and exciting and I spent the evening watching as the bids closed. I got 4 item that I particularly wanted. Felt like such a win.
It showed up in my email. I dont know how but I enjoyed it.
It is fun to follow and bid once in awhile but you need to be careful and choosey. The photography is normally horrible and you have to love the descriptions like; "Nicely Circulated" or "Nearly Uncirculated". You are taking a gamble each time you bid on what the coin or coins actually are like but their shipping service is on point. You will get what you win but it may have a scratch or flaw you did not notice and that is part our fault and the lousy photos are the other part. The photo attached I did not win but threw a bid anyway. It is not a good pic to judge the coins' grade, condition or color. The second, the '84 half dime is much, much better. Did not win that either. I am away from home at a Baltimore Whitman Expo and cannot provide any proof of purchase as they would be at home.

Most wait until the end to create a bidding war. It gets exciting.
It was the option available but now I follow several auction locations.
I won a 14k necklace from Vail International Inc. and they charged me sales tax. I have made repeated attempted to get them to refund that. I am tax-exempt and sent them my ST3 showing that I am a reseller. So far they have ignored my request.
Because I used to sell on Hibid.
I've encountered a frustrating situation with damaged orders and no means to secure refunds from sellers. Additionally, obtaining tracking numbers for won auctions seems impossible. Moreover, there's no avenue to review sellers' actions in such instances. Despite attempting to contact HiBid for assistance, they haven't responded, leaving me no choice but to resort to a chargeback through my bank. This experience leads me to believe that HiBid may be operating dishonestly.
I love HiBid. I've been using it for quite some time and I always find what I'm looking for at a deal
Platform is amazing, convenience is perfect, and it’s a lot of fun.
We bought a TRX workout strap. In the picture it looked like a lot of 3. In the description it said TRX Straps. No where did it say it was only one. In the picture it should have been just one TRX. The picture showed more than one.
The auction was scheduled to end 7pm April 2nd. I got an email that day announcing it was being postponed until April 9th because of an approaching storm. I had been bidding on items with the expectation of the auction ending as stated in each description. When I contacted them to get an explanation I was told some bidders may lose power due to the storm and wouldn't be able to bid. Problem with that excuse is the storm wasn't set to start until the 4th of April. I saw other auctions that were scheduled to end on the 2nd that simply delayed the pickup times if weather was a problem! That postponement seemed unfair to people that were already bidding. I have a different theory as to why it was postponed. It's possible I may have paid less for things I won and won things I dropped out of because of the delay of a week.
Saw things I liked
I received a unpaid invoice regarding the purchase advising me to contact them if I required shipping. I have not received a response from them.
They are here in Wisconsin and I've never had a problem buying from them.
During the auction, the screen scrolled and reloaded, making it difficult to monitor the auction and bid on appropriate items. After items completed, I was surprised to see the comment "MAY HAVE WON". That was a bit indecisive. I was unable to pay for my items the next day because of technical difficulties.
It was the service used by the auctioneer.
An online auction is so convenient instead of traveling to an auction. The website is easy to use which is great for older people.
For convenience and shopping for antiques at home. Very courteous people when it’s time for pickup
Very nice experience. Marchandise was as in super condition. Pictures matches reality. Cant wait to win ( or buy) again!

This particular auction is obviously unprofessional. Placed a bid and won, paid for on 2/21, got no confirmation, no tracking number, etc. Damn right I disputed it and then they have some unintelligent customer service agent call me to confront me as to why I disputed the charge. I had no tracking number and no merchandise 2 weeks after I submitted payment. She wants to know why I didn't contact them, it's not up to me to have to chase down merchandise I paid for in good faith. They got their money right away but they are poor communicators. Use the money I paid and take a class or get some. How awful the won't let me bid anymore...lol
Tip for consumers:
Hire people who actually understand customer service, it will serve you well.
For bidders review the lots before hand and determine what lot you are going to bid on and determine the amount your willing to bid andbid on line because it moves quickly
Auction items that I collect
I said I had nothing but a good experience why you have to do this crazy stuff this is the only part about it it's not good you asked me the same question in a different form twice in a row
I like iot and will probably use it again.only thing is i cant figure out how to pay for my items i won in the northumberland pa auction
Heard of it throw a frind.
I recently participated in an HiBid online auction. I had viewed items well in advance, and had written down the lot numbers for items that I was interested in. For that reason, I waited too until to close to the start of the auction to get logged in. Since it had been some time since I had bid on things through HiBid, I had forgotten my password and had to scramble to get a link to set up a new one. When I had finally gotten logged in, I was having difficulty getting a payment method inputted using my smartphone and had to log out on it and log in on my laptop. Having gotten that straightened out, I was then able to switch back over to my phone. The point is, had one of the items that I wanted to bid on been one of the first lots to close I would have missed out. I will try to avoid that mistake in the future. HiBid's offer an engaging way to participate in live online auctions and I look forward to my next experience. Thanks.
I called the morning following the auction because I couldn’t remember how payment was transacted. The gentleman I spoke with answered my questions about payment, as well as for getting the items that I won shipped. Thanks, again.
I saw HiBid auctions on a social media site, and that was my initial exposure to the site.
Won my auction cant find an invoice called auctioner no answer & no way to get ahold of a live person on hibid. Format for bidding is very easy. Trying to navigate the site for invoice or anything else is difficult
Cant reach a live person
To buy something
The sorting by option and poor search option is frustrating. Also, trying to pay is enough to make me never return. I can't pay like other sites, nope I have to wait for an invoice via e-mail from the seller, then use their preferred way to pay and ship. Why can't I pay via the webpage? Maddening!
I do like the variety of items though.
Found it via the Adrian Peterson auction, upset it was cancelled but liked the site so stayed around.
I love the items you offered as they are of high quality and I'm thrilled with the ones I won. Bidding is fairly easy and the email notices help me keep on top of my items. Unfortunately your website is very difficult to navigate and, to find the auction I was involved was extremely hard. I found I just went from the email you sent me. Please update your web site to be more user friendly otherwise I will avoid bidding with you.
I was sent an emailed a notice of the auction
