Feels good to win a bid. At first I was nervous about entering a bid. I am not good with computers or data entry, but the system fell into place and I was a successful bidder on my first attempt. Can not wait until the next event opens.

I have enjoyed going to live auctions for many years, and had a large collection of antiques. Over the past several years I have started using online auction services. I like using this service as it is multiple auctions in any place you may be in at any given time. Mostly, I love searching for things I can use at a lower price than buying from a store. I am having a great time using this, and have found some amazing deals!

I'm new to the online auction and I found the experience fun and professional. I appreciate being able to set alerts for my bid items, the ability to show everything I'm bidding on in my profile and the countdown to last few minutes. Also site didn't crash which is obviously very important in a timed process

I've been using my state's local HiBid for a while now and its been great. The map search is a great way to see what's available in the area. Never had an issue with registering, bidding or payment processing.

I've been ripped off by 8 out of 10 auction houses,I am done with hibid for good and it's many thieves

While bidding online, and the pickup of items, were both easy, many items just were not worth bidding in $5 increments. Much of the time we bailed on bidding as the price was just too high for the item...but if we could have bid $1 or even $2 more, that may have changed our minds. We don't understand your forcing bidders to bid in those $5 increments, especially for lower-value items.

I enjoy, bidding on high bed auctions and have for a few years. I like the second confirmation button required when bidding. When I hit the first one, if I have any remorse whatsoever, I get out before, confirming. It helps me to bid on auctions with facing little regret. One time, I accidentally hit an extra zero on my max and was able to reach the auction company to clear it up before the final sale day.

I was looking for vintage Pokemon cards. I found what I was looking for.

This is probably the worst Auction site I have ever used, all I can say is don't bother with it. They run on a good ole boy system, reject bids for no reason, and sometimes don't even ship the items you won. Just save yourself the frustration and stay far far away from it. The auctioneers are HORRIBLE, rude, aggressive, nasty, and they have a rating system that the buyer can't actually see, which I think was also stated by someone else previously as well. Just steer clear of them, the entire site sucks.

Looking over all the options at these bidding sites is a snap, and fun to watch. The premium charge for successful bids is a bit steep (IMHO) and the prices often give us "sticker shock" (as at the grocery store) but I will return as often as I find things I would like to try. I like the fact that you can scroll through quickly to identify all the "bid" lots and east to upside when necessary. A very well designed site!

I found the process of placing my bids easy to understand. I like the ability to set a limit and not have to check in every 15 minutes to see if it's still standing. Also, being able to quickly access my bids without having to scroll through the catalogue, or memorize a specific lot number was fantastic.

Fast, simple and easy to do. I enjoy bidding the first time as the items on my watch list items come up for bid. I also look at everything again in case there is something else that catches my eye. I really like HiBid.

As long as you go into these auctions with time and patience it's always a good experience. Take the time to look at product descriptions and photographs, if you have a question reach out to the auction house and you will be happy with the experience.

I have been bidding on Hibid for few years now I still like the concept and the excitement of bidding and winning the items but my days may be coming to an end. The reason is simple, "The Cost of Doing Business". As an online bidder in Eastern Ontario I require shipping most of the time. Driving for pickup is occasionally possible and even a nice outing. Unfortunately the increases in buyer premiums and the very high cost of delivery is just too expensive, so much so that I sometimes pay more for buyer's premiums and tax plus high cost delivery than I pay for purchases. I sometimes get charged $40 to $60 for small light weight items. Many auction houses now charge packing fees before shipping that can be flat rates of $20 or more. That's my rant and prices will only go up.

Security verification was a pain which turned out to be a problem with how my bank list my address.

Best site to use for multiple auctions from all over. Be sure to read the details on pick up and shipping before you bid. It's a very seemless process and they keep you informed on everything by email and text if you choose. Stop thinking about it and start your bidding right now.

I liked the Hibid system, as it makes bidding easy and effortless.
My only comment would be that there are so many auctions, and the auctioneers don't describe their goods with any consistency. This makes searching for specific items a bit tedious.

I had heard about hibid in the past but didn't realize how easy it is to use. I'm excited to pick up my new furniture, I could not buy in the major outlet stores. I should have joined hibid sooner for great items.

I sent them 3 emails, one before the bid to ask a question, two after I supposedly won, No response, called also, went to voice mail. No acknowledgment that I won, even though I had the high bid. No ability to even see if anyone else was bidding or if they just put my limit as the high bid. Two weeks later I received the supposedly leather purse from Amazon. It isn't leather and now I don't know how to return it. I have no proof of hi-bid to show on here since they sent me nothing in writing.

Looked into using HiBid for some anime figures for my collection and now I'll have some extras to sell. After that, I ended up spending another thousand on jewelry! I will more likely than not make a decent profit off of everything, too. No reason not to browse auction sites!

The site and auction was easy to manage. Only reason I dropped 1 star was that a 2 minute clock reset after a bid. In a normal auction it is a 3 count, approx. 3 to 5 seconds.

I spent about $6000 on this site from approximately 200 bids and their site is do organized I can tell who I have left to pay but they go and leave bad reviews of you as bidder and the other auction houses start blocking you. I called hi bid to ask them who I owed but they said they can't tell. When I look at the list of purchases I can't tell who I've paid yet or not because their names don't match their invoices, and I don't know if the item is on its way or cancelled. Same complaint as others that this site is too difficult to search for items and too difficult to pay for your items not to mention the crazy extra fees they add on.
I'm done after I get my last items I'll go find a new auction house to use.
1/3rd of items came to me broken from some auction houses that did ridiculous wrapping and they go on to blame the shipping and make me chase them down for any results.

HiBid has a good website setup that makes bidding easy and the whole process is easy to follow. The pickup of items is also very easy. We had no problems at all so far with bidding, pickup or payment. The only downside is the website search for auctions. It doesn't work. Also the notifications for a specific area only.
