HiBid

Outside of eBay, I had no experience with auctions, and didn't really have a good experience with them on that platform. HiBid is a different experience, it's a lot of fun, easy to use, and the local staff is helpful. I'm recommending to a few of my friends… Well the ones that won't try to outbid me anyway.

The website is very well organized. Easy to bid and follow the auction. Picked up my items this morning from yesterdays auction. The items were marked, well organized and easy to find. The personnel were very helpful in finding my items. Thanks.

I would say that most of the auctioneers on HiBid are ok, but some are downright unprofessional. The descriptions and pictures are very poor in most cases. Some never answer their emails. Most of them deal with third party shippers who charge very high shipping charges. One of these shippers sent me a box of broken dolls and never repaid my $147 charges. I've learned the hard way to never deal with any that use these third party shippers. I don't bid on any item that the auctioneer doesn't answer my emails. And I'll never deal with any that charges my high bid when the highest bid was way below my high bid. HiBid can be good if you are very careful.

It is very easy to watch an item and to make a bid. It is easy to see when the auction will end and how long is left before an item sells. If someone bids when time is low the time for that lot is extended so everyone who wants to can place a higher bid.

This company is not upfront with how they advertise the products for bid. They offer a lot of 20 glasses which you think you are bidding on all 20 but in fact your bidding on just one. I got scammed and I think a lot of other people did thinking that the bid was for the whole lot. Apparently paid $28 for 20 beer glasses. That works out to $560 for beer glasses! I'm fighting this!

I spent too much money too fast! But that's a good thing. I got a lot of great things at a great price!

I also like that there are so many different auction companies so I can just participate in just the one HiBid platform for different auctions.

I've used HiBid for awhile now. I've had both good experiences and bad. This auction was another good one. Pick-up times were posted so after the auction I went by the next day and was quickly greeted and given my item.

Using the live bid process was easy 7ae & follow along with. Really couldn't suggest any enhancements on Hibid side of operations. Would prefer sellers side be required to put in a minimum criteria description of products sold. A model # and picture solely does not garner confidence on bidding. Less said equals less value in my opinion.

I can't access any auctions with my credit card. The hibid text support doesn't have a clue on how to resolve the issue of my address not matching the credit card company. Auction companies are losing customers and bidders not being able to access the bid process...

I am a regular bidder and I love your system.
This was the first time though I encountered the system timing out and disconnecting me. I did end up losing one item because of the delay...but overall it's a wonderful fun way to spend money I shouldn't

I wasn't going to bid on a few things until I was sure I got the one thing I really needed. Once I knew I was going to drive all the way out there anyway, then I could jump in at the last minute and grab a few smaller things. With some sellers, the auction is hard to follow once items start closing, but this one worked just like it should. I got the one main thing I wanted and a few other goodies.

The crew were extremely helpful in locating items, helping with loading them in vehicle. 13 items took less than 30 minutes to locate and get loaded. Super efficient and helpful.

Easy to get on. I used to have a hard time getting to the auctions on hi-bid. Easy to stay on. I used to get knocked off often! Easy to bid. I used to struggle to get my bid placed. It seemed the last changes to the website helped a lot.

They had amazon returns with a value of "$2500". When I picked it up half the boxes were just a part of what should have been there. Ie. Empty plastic case that used to have tools in it etc. And even if boxes had products in it, it wouldn't come close to $2500. I tried to email platinum and they ignored me. Also hibid has no one to contact to complain to

Bidding was easy and convenient, navigating the app needs to be better, more return menu options, and easier search functions. Should be able to favourite and follow different auctioneers. Have more favourite search options.

I love the HiBid site for finding and bidding on local auctions. My rating would have been a 5 star but for 2 small issues. 1. Sometimes when you click an item and then close it, the webpage takes you back to the top and you have to scroll down again. More of an annoyance than anything, and it only happens sometimes. 2. Sometimes the images don't match the descriptions, so you have to keep an eye to make sure what you are bidding on. Again, only happens occasionally - overall - awesome experience with the site.

Love auctions like that the different auction houses have different items. The only thing don't like is all the different auction fees. Wish was standard auction fee. Also don't like shipping fee above shipping charges. I would buy more but have to also figure all fees into price.

I was on Hi Bid Sunday 9/19/19 bidding. I was winning the auction, then it close and allowed onsite bidding. Why bid on HiBid when it will close on only allow onsite bidding. If this is the case, why bid. I called Hi bid and was told that the auction companies have their own rules. Dont understand why HiBid would allow companies with that policy, it's HiBid web site. HiBid just said sorry. I said goodbye to HiBid. I am sorry that I strayed from proxibid.

The site is setup to make finding local auctions easy. The catalogs are simple to navigate and bidding is super easy. Whether you're bidding early or doing a live auction, bids go in quickly with a click of a button. It's a great service and makes online auctions a breeze.

I'm retired and resell to stay out of my wife's hair and to provide funds for local rescue shelters. I can't blow and go like I used to and I don't do well in crowds so HiBid allows me to conduct my passion from the comfort of home

Bidding before the fair warning many time was not recorded, or unable to get a bid listed. Items not listed appeared out of no where. Items I was bidding on disappeared, poof, gone, and there was no fair warning. I was bidding, and poof, the item was gone.

Hibid is easy to search for auctions, Items, or items I am watching. Bidding is fast and easy. The total bid amount at the top is nice, but when my wife sees how much I have spent I sometimes I wish I could hide the total. Overall a great site. I have used others and this is, by far, the best.

My card was denied at one auction bidding on 3 auctions using my credit card as payment My card was denied way before auction was over at one auction while the other two it was accepte. The auction that denied let me bid on items then all at once they said card was denied. This was fishy. Not happy.
