After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
The auction was listed by your company to end at 9 AM, I bid at the appointed time.Then later in the evening I get emails stating I have been outbid! You had the auction time wrong...you cost me a lot of money due to the fact some of the lots I wanted were already closed whene I checked my email late in the evening.Totally unprofessional and my worst auction experience.The ending of the auctions with the bells going off and confusion by the lots moving all over the screen is something I would not like to experience again.Trust me to NOT use your HIBID site for my auction needs...like you care about one person complaining about your service. All in all I would rate you folks at a -1 on a scale of 10.

Went to get a mattress that I had paid for. Got there waited almost a hour. They couldn't find my mattress. Tried giving me a smaller mattress I didn't want. Not very apologetic for the mix up. My husband called in to complain, lady in the office was rude. Drove a hour to London for nothing.
I've been on hibid for some months now... I can state that is a "buyer beware" site. Firstly, the images are very poor, AT BEST. And this seems to be an unenforced policy, which for me it's a big thumb's down... Secondly, I've noticed quite a lot of counterfeit items, and I've even contacted the company that was selling these numerous amount of counterfeit items. They asked me how would I know that "sight unseen". Trust me folks, use your due diligence before purchasing anything on this website. Thirdly, if the amounts aren't met with some auctioneer companies, they increase the countdown/deadline time.
System workflow process is pretty well thoughtout.
There could be some better navagation options... it's not always intuitive.
For example, I would like to see a simple navigation drop down list that easily navigates to (1) items bid on that won; (2) items bit on that lost; (3) watch list won; (4) witch list lost; (5) watch list all... etc.
If you are really serious about making user interface improvements, feel fee to contact me.
I don't want to spend too much time making suggestions if you're not really interested in making changes.
I chose HiBid because I really like to bid on JT Henry auctions.

HiBid is my favorite! It is so easy to find what you're looking for, either by zip code or item. Each auction is different in its own teams, but HiBid is always the same, making it so easy to use. Thank you!

It was very fun and addicting to bid on items. However, I made several mistakes. Be sure to read the descriptions carefully. The wording is important. If it says the box is damaged and the product is new that is fine, but if it says the product may have blemishes, be sure to expect just that. A set of glasses specifically said a set of 7 and I missed that, upon picking the package up, the box was for 8. Basically they sold a set of 7 because one had broken. One of my items was missing the charging cord. The Air Cooler my bid won, was molded inside and significantly scratched up. It definitely had been used for some time then placed back into the box to be sold (it is worthless). I will be much more careful in the next auction.
I liked that the bids started at $1 and the increasing increments were fair.

These people suck they back auction that sell junk I know they banned me but I dont pay for $#*! that dont work or they lose my stuff. I. Posting this everywhere I can these people suck. Hibid shields these auctions houses by allowing them to leave feedback about bidders, accessible to each other, but hidden from the bidders. Bidders also have no way of knowing whats written about them until they been denied the ability to bid. Bidders have no recourse or any way of rating these shady auction houses. It's no wonder HiBid ranks 80th (as of this writing). Stay away.
It is easy to bid on this site. I've had a good experience purchasing items here. Having a few more pictures and more detailed descriptions would be helpful.

Won a bid on a concrete mixer, pictures were taken showing how great it was, got home and opened up moter case, the motor pully was missing, the drum pully was broke and bearings were shot. Its a real shame that a seller has to sell something that they know is crap, and make it it seem runnable. I won't spend another dime on hibid auctions. Buyer beware, if you cant see in person, don't bid.

I have contacted my card company and it is not them. The auctioneers tell me it must be how the card is recorded with Hibid. This is frustrating and embarrassing causing me to be declined by other auction houses
new to the system and got rated for slow payment and that was taken care of quickly and in my favor.

I have purchased many items through HIbid, then all of a sudden I started getting declined with no explanation. I ask one auction company why they denied me with no response. Then I ask another auction company, they stated they denied me because another auction company had denied me. I always pay my invoices and the only disputes I have had is when I have received gold jewelry that was advertised as real and turned out to be fake or not the gold content that was stated on the item. I just think it's unfair that a customer can be black listed and not even know why.
It was a great experience. I was able to do it on my phone as well as my computer. Does some of the mobile features aren't available on the website they still work good on the computer. I would recommend fixing the mobile access to current bids or establishing a mobile app.
I found reliable auction sites on this site and it’s easy to look for sites that are geographically convenient. However, I think there needs to be some assurances that the sites aren’t able to see the current highest bid so that they’re not artificially bumping bids up.

What does it mean when I see 25× next to a bid of lots say $3.00. Dose it mean I could win 25 items for the $3.00. Or is it 25 items at $3.00 a piece, making my bid really $75.00 at bidding close. Thinking your bid is $3.00 for 25 items is quite different then being tricked into paying $3.00 apeace
Out of all the auctions I've bid on and won over the years I've never had an issue bidding on the platform. I did have a terrible experience with one auction company, which I realize is not Hibid's fault. However it is frustrating as a customer to not be able to leave feedback on an auction company when they have the ability to leave feedback on the customer.
Of all the auction platforms I find Hibid the easiest to navigate, especially with regard to narrowing searches for items.

I enjoy HiBid, because it is easy to navigate, easy to register, simple to bid. I am hit and miss on the magnifying glass. It can be useful at times, but a pain sometimes. It also easy to contact the auctioneers when needed.
I prefer HiBid, because of the reputation and ease of use. Plus, I am not a people person.

I have purchased a few times from different auctions, and have not been disappointed. The process is easy, and I like the "soft close" feature.

I like the bidding format on HiBid. The only thing that gets me is in the last moments of the bidding time when it goes to Live Bid - I wish it would not go away from the Watchlist page. Other than that, I think this is one of the best online auction platforms I have found, and I have used several over the last six years or so.
Originally I found it through an online search of local online auctions. Since there were some auction houses that I was already familiar with, I chose to use HiBid in order to be able to bid on items in those auctions.

I like to preveiw the auction online and write down the lot numbers of the items I want to bid on in order, and the times that each item will hit the auction block, then I can plan my day around those times
I have only contacted a couple times about shipping
I have never had any problems so I keep coming back
