Israel by Foot is the best website I have seen covering the best places to hike and experience the outdoors in Israel. As an outdoor enthusiast who frequently comes to Israel, I haven't seen a better resource. The plethora of the various possibilities, ranging from short hikes that can be done with children to longer treks and road trips, are incredible. The entire country is covered, from the Negev Desert with its magnificent craters to the Northern forested Galilee and Golan Heights. The love of Israel by Foot's creator for Israel's breathtaking flora, fauna and vistas, its mountains and valleys, its seasonal streams, lakes and ponds, is palpable as one feasts on the wealth of information and breathtaking photography presented to the lover of the great outdoors. Five stars!
