I was in Hobby lobby today and there was a stand with many different items on it with a sign above it that said 50% off home Decor. I took something off this display to purchase and at the register the employee advised me that this was regular priced item when I advised that it was on a table that indicated 50% off he said it was only home decor and this was considered a table decor item. I did purchase the item because I wanted it however I did talk to the manager and let them know that I thought this was deceptive practice to display items under a sign that said 50% off even though those items were not going to be sold at 50% off. She advised me that it's up there so that we could know as consumers other items that would possibly match with it. Completely made no sense. Just recommend that you really pay attention to what you're buying and what the sign say in this store.
Several times I have been in Hobby Lobby, totally confused about where to find what I'm looking for. When I was finally able to track down a salesperson, I asked him where to find it and he showed me. When I told him that signs above the aisles telling us which items could be found on which aisles would make it much easier for customers. He told me that the absence of signs was intentional to encourage more customer service and interaction. The problem with that rationale is that it's so hard to find customer assistance. More than once I have had to walk all over the store just to track down a salesperson. If they would put descriptive signs over all of the aisles, it would greatly improve customer satisfaction and would draw more customers in.
Their website is always glitchy, adding to your cart takes 5 refreshes and 20 clicks just to add it once. After purchasing, your cart doesn't clear and it takes 30 seconds to delete each item each. It's ridiculous and won't keep you signed in. It's a great company but they are making a huge marketing mistake by not having a decent website!
I recently needed to purchase a 16 x 20 sheet of picture frame glass to replace glass in an existing frame. When I brought the glass home I realized that there was a one inch chip of glass missing from one of the corners. I did not keep the receipt but the employees were nice and the exchange was made easily. Sadly, when I returned home to repair the frame I discovered that the actual size was 15-15/16 x 19-5/16. The existing frame has a very narrow lip and as a result the glass failed to work being too small. Not worth the time and gas to try and get a refund. Next time I will have the sense to shop at Michael's or better yet at a local glass store where I can verify the size before purchase.
Snarky staff who are mean, know nothing & cannot find products. Products are not sustainable, poor quality, poor selection, & imported from China
Overpriced even after sale/discounts
Crazy to shop there unless beyond desperate
The store is always clean, neat and easy to do your shopping any day, season or event. Customer Service is exceptional. Lots of items marked down with sales. Sales persons speak professionally and always answer my questions. Isabella in the Dawsonville, Georgia store helped me put together a beautiful framed vacation poster. She even saved me money and time as she put the picture frame together and contacted me it was ready for pickup! I love the positive values this company bases so much of their work ethics upon.
2 minutes to grab what I needed 35 minutes standing in line. This on my second attempt at shopping in the Helen store innFort Worth.
No scanners at check out. The lovely older ladies chatting with each person and putting in each item by hand caused complete gridlock. I won't go back until
They update the stores. Management is useless. Literally 20 people deep in 5 lines with 3 registers not being used. If I were a manager, I would jump on a register and help out. Not stand around with two other managers.
Hire someone from Chick Fil a to help you guys out.
You have more people walking out of the store that refuse to stand for 30 minutes than not.
These people have little to no customer service completely unwilling to help at all could careless attitude and want to just get rid of you. Disgusting that a company would not monitor and see the most unfriendly service I've ever had and that is always. Not just once! I finally am fed up with the rude could careless if I help you responses
I placed an online order the end of August. It shipped on September 3. I called Federal Express about my order and was told it was lost. I called Hobby Lobby and received a full refund! It was agreed that if I received the order I would let them know. I just received this order today October 13 with 2 pieces missing. I called Hobby Lobby to settle my account, I mentioned the missing items and my total due included only what I received! How can I not be absolutely thrilled at customer service like this! Thank You Hobby Lobby!
Hobby Lobby US19 Clearwater, FL. Has picture framer named Steve who is beyond excellent. I have been collecting art for many years and have had numerous pieces framed. It was a lucky day when I went into this store and had the pleasure of meeting Steve who is an artist in his own right. All his work is professional and has enhanced my collection. You are very lucky to have a true talent in your employ.

Kimberly had provided outstanding customer service. We needed a photo to be framed asap. Kimberly framed our photo with her extremely busy schedule and did an excellent job. I will always go to her now. Kudos to Kimberly! Thx Hobby z lobby to have employee like Kim.
I ordered a $300 wood bench from Hobby Lobby online and it was sent in a cardboard box with no protective packaging. It arrived with legs torn off, cracks in the wood, and a broken bracket. It was beyond my repair. After many emails to their customer service department I requested and was promised a full refund- never received it. I opened a dispute with PayPal since this is how I paid for it, Hobby Lobby contacted me and told me that they'd refund me but I had to close the PayPal dispute before it could be done. I closed the dispute a month ago and informed Hobby Lobby again via email that it had been completed- I'm ready for my refund now. NOTHING! They had the audacity to tell me if had been refunded to my method of payment when it hasn't- PayPal can attest to that. I've had nothing but poor experiences purchasing from Hobby Lobby.
You can get some really cool items for your home cheap, love their sales except when I don't buy right then. Items that are on sale get shifted a lot, meaning that if its on sale today it won't be on sale tomorrow. So you'll have to wait until it goes on sale again. Love how the store has their items categorized so you can get a full grouping! Lots of variety there's generally something for everyone. I change my styles up so it's a great value for me and for my daughters transitioning into teens. I haven't noticed any of the items I have purchased seeming cheap. I also love they are closed Sun.! Customer service in the store has always been great, employees seem happy to help you!
If you have something framed take the plastic wrapping off before you leave the store, and why would you wrap an item before the customer saw it? So it obscures the unprofessional job that was done. Very unhappy with both items I had done, framed art not straight, wrinkled, matting does not lay flat against the art. Take your art somewhere else.
I spent over an hour in hobby lobby excited because I "assumed" the items were 50%off I took so much time picking every item. There were signs everywhere advertising what exactly was on sale. When I went to pay the pimply faced employee said it was all full priced. I was PISSED! I Left my entire cart then pranked those $#*!ers in the parking lot. Waste of my time. They need to be more clear on what $#*! is on sale. $#*!s
I just spent $289.00 in Hobby Lobby. My daughter-in-law and I were speaking about veterans and whether Target gave veterans discounts or not and the cashier told us that they don't give any veterans discounts at hobby lobby. I then went and spoke with the manager he said they don't give any discounts at all. First he said we don't give seniors, which I am, that I don't care about. Then he said no we do not give veterans discounts. That I do care about we are free because of those men and women that served and they should get every discount possible! On Monday I will be returning the merchandise that I purchased and I will never shop there again nor will I support them! How very sad to claim to be a Christian business who doesn't support our military and our veterans. Not my kind of store thank you very much
Your art supplies are for amateurs and are third rate at best. My husband bought me some of your watercolor paper it was so bad I threw it out. Tried to take the other pads back and without a receipt would only give 40% of the price. Their paper is so bad they don't even want it. Go to Micheals or buy online.
First and foremost, I should've listened to the reviews online regarding this company, before ordering anything from them. They have by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered four items two of which were a housewarming gift, I received only two items, and did NOT receive the most important items I ordered! I contacted customer service and they did absolutely nothing to hello me in any way shape or form. They are by far the worse!… I have never had any issues with receiving my orders until ordering from this company. Stay away!
Hobby Lobby is always organized and stocked. I love order and their store is laid out perfectly. The staff is always knowledgeable and able to address my questions. I love the variety that the store carries. They have such nice displays that really help me picture what I could do with the products.
The staff there is very helpful and and is willing to go above and beyond to meet your expectations. Manager Melanie should be commended on her efforts in making Hobby Lobby the best store in Columbus. Melanie went above and beyond in helping me put together a decorative piece for my kitchen table,
It looks so beautiful! She took her time to make sure that I was satisfied with the decorative item she put together. Every time I'm in there Melanie and her staff welcome me and ask if I need any help. Melanie deserves a promotion or a raise because I've been to all the Hobby Lobby's and the Reynoldsburg store is the best.
Answer: This shop reeks of racism. I will be using Michaels. Thank you
Answer: Unethically legit. HL really needs to evaluate their own marketing plan and step up their hiring practices in addition to stop buying B2B products from outside mass production sources. At least look at the quality before sticking and reselling total garbage. And ask yourselves "why are our employees so miserable"? Unhealthy culture = unhappy customers.
Answer: I have never been to Winston-Salem in North Carolina.
