Poor customer service

These people have little to no customer service completely unwilling to help at all could careless attitude and want to just get rid of you. Disgusting that a company would not monitor and see the most unfriendly service I've ever had and that is always. Not just once! I finally am fed up with the rude could careless if I help you responses

I shopped at Hobby Lobby this evening. I packed my car with merchandise. I left my work bag,with all my personal items in the shopping cart. An associate named Tim noticed my bag in the rain. He then brought my bag into the store and gave it to David the manager.Thanks so much TIM for your HONESTY and a thank you to Store Manager DAVE for finding a way to contact me and let me know you had my bag!

I was at Hobby Lobby recently and only found 1 item to purchase. The lines were all 5-8 people long but I gave it a try. They moved at snails pace so I finally decided to leave the item and the store. They have no checkout for 10 items or less and associates are taking their good old time checking people out. I don't come to a store to have a conversation with the cashier.
During the pandemic when all stores, except essentials, were told to be closed Hobby Lobby was open claiming their items were essential. Now maybe you had a "decorating emergency", whatever that would be, but Hobby Lobby violated the protocol for closing and makes me angry that they felt they were better than others.

CONSTANTLY RUDE EMPLOYEES

Hobby Lobby location in Englewood, CO.

I recently made a purchase at Hobby Lobby for a few Christmas projects. When I got home and looked at my receipt, I was immediately aware that I had been charged for an item that I DID NOT buy. I returned to the store today to get the situation corrected and receive a refund for that item for $7.99. The employee at the checkout was not permitted ti make that correction for me and called for the manager. When that manager, Kerri H., came to the register, she literally grabbed my receipt out of the cashiers hand and said, "Well we're going to look at the cameras", without even so much as looking at or addressing me at all. FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER, she came back to the register. Her first words were, "You bought a set of Christmas lights or an extension cord, right?" No, I did not. And again she said, You bought some Christmas lights or extension cord'. Again, I responded, "No, I did NOT buy either one of those things, nor do I need either one of those things". Kerri told me what else was on my receipt and said that "the camera showed me purchasing lights or extension cord". NO I DID NOT! Why was she accusing me?

Just exactly how many times do I have to answer her accusations, let alone be treated SO RUDELY for simply asking for my my money to be returned for an item I DID NOT PURCHASE? I am a VERY frequent customer of Hobby Lobby. Ever since Hobby Lobby discontinued their 40% coupon, I have noticed a drastic change, not only with lack of inventory and obvious lack of crowds of customers, but it is also very obvious to many customers that the staff is very unfriendly and outright rude to customers. Finding an employee willing to help you find something without watching their eyes roll to the back of their face is non-existent now. Hobby Lobby isn't the only game in town. There are several other crafting stores to spend my money at. I don't expect to be treated better than any other customer, but I DO insist on respect and professionalism, every step of the way. My personal experience today with Manager Kerri H. Was shamefully inappropriate.

Ridiculously long lines
November 30, 2022

2 minutes to grab what I needed 35 minutes standing in line. This on my second attempt at shopping in the Helen store innFort Worth.
No scanners at check out. The lovely older ladies chatting with each person and putting in each item by hand caused complete gridlock. I won't go back until
They update the stores. Management is useless. Literally 20 people deep in 5 lines with 3 registers not being used. If I were a manager, I would jump on a register and help out. Not stand around with two other managers.
Hire someone from Chick Fil a to help you guys out.
You have more people walking out of the store that refuse to stand for 30 minutes than not.

Check out gridlock

HK has hundreds of items and people buy them! Which is the problem when you were trying to check out. They need to start up an Xpress line, for people who have five or less items in their carts. I have walked out of the store on several occasions after spending 10 minutes standing in one spot in line with four people ahead of me with tons of items in their carts- when I only have two. I have made the suggestion to a store manager to start an express line. His response was - "oh but this is the way we always do things." Basically he was completely uninterested in improving customer service. They do not use barcodes, everything is manually entered which is just archaic in this day and age especially in a store that has so many customers. So they will go the way of the dinosaurs eventually unless they improve their checkout procedure.

Excellent Picture Framing

Hobby Lobby US19 Clearwater, FL. Has picture framer named Steve who is beyond excellent. I have been collecting art for many years and have had numerous pieces framed. It was a lucky day when I went into this store and had the pleasure of meeting Steve who is an artist in his own right. All his work is professional and has enhanced my collection. You are very lucky to have a true talent in your employ.

I am/was an employee of the distribution center. I was in Tulsa today and tried to use my employee discount@ 51st and Harvard location and was told without my check stub I couldn't use it. My pay is direct deposit first and foremost nor was ever told by anyone including where i usually use it in okc ok. I felt very discriminated against and literally resigned from the company. Try employing people who aren't racist

Terrible store ever, especially the location at maple grove Minnesota
No customer service
The store was full of people
Lots of items on the floor with empty shelf and very disorganized throughout the store
Also some broken pieces in the store too
All cashiers are slow in general and does not know how to wrap and pack fragile items

You will also have to wait in the cashier line for over 30 minute and the cashier was not care about your time and ignored you. The manager saw so many people waiting in line and did nothing but standing around
There were a few customers waiting in line for a long time and she did nothing
I also wanted to report the guy name Davon how disrespectful he was.
The manager should also be fired!
The waiting in line over 30 mins made no sense and wasted my time
I requested apologies and pay me back the time that I lost

Fast turn around job

I was told originally that this was a Christian based long term job. Not only do you train yourself but even though passing the first time I was required to take it a second time and scored a 98 and that's during your first week. They don't go over anything in grave detail. It says you can not accept gifts but while checking out a customer had said she didn't want her change of 59 cents and that I could have. Given the fact that I've only had one other cashiering job other than when I was 17, now 33. I didn't think any of it since it was loose change. I brought up again to the manager and he said we are not to do that. Now I never did it again but this was the reason for his termination right after I informed that I had just been evicted from my home. I honestly think it was because I wasn't willing to flirt with a married men like every other girl store was. And a mother observing his interactions with the 19 and 20 year old cashiers I really didn't feel comfortable working there. I'd never be willing to sleep with anyone just to keep my job. Not Christian and not a safe environment to work in.

Very disappointed

I bought something in another location than where I went today with my receipt and they told me to go back to the other location.
I was charged TWICE for ONE item that I bought. Will never ever buy anything g at hobby lobby again.

The products from Hobby Lobby are mostly good quality. I ordered some cute hot cocoa smores ornaments to add to our Christmas tree this year but turns out they were WAAAAYYYY to heavy for our tree branches!
I called customer service and they told me that I would have to pay the return shipping to get a refund or if I wanted to go to the closest Hobby Lobby to us which is almost 1 hour away we would only get a gift card and not the money back onto our card! That makes no sense! I won't be shopping Hobby Lobby online after finding out how their return policy works! Bad business!

Rude customer service

Love the store and items there but the customer service is VERY RUDE! Went to the Cary NC in Crossroads location! They will ignore you, asked for help at one point & the lady told me she couldn't help and walked away. Also, the receipts need to be updated so we know what each item is that was purchased. Now just shows a price and sku number not detail. Unfortunate about their customer service.

Great staff... All though if and when face masks return, make sure that you tell them you don't wish to wear one of you can't. They can be demanding when it comes to face mask wearing. Even if they do get in trouble for making customers not wearing a face mask it doesn't mean they should take away a person's rights. If and when face masks return.

Horridly glitchy and non-user friendly website

Their website is always glitchy, adding to your cart takes 5 refreshes and 20 clicks just to add it once. After purchasing, your cart doesn't clear and it takes 30 seconds to delete each item each. It's ridiculous and won't keep you signed in. It's a great company but they are making a huge marketing mistake by not having a decent website!

This place SUCKS DO NOT GO HERE on top of not even having craft supplies, and just remade things (all religious in some way) you do not support LGBQT+ rights SHAMEFUL.
