Last week I purchased a Portable Dishwasher with 4 Wash Cycles from them. I liked that model because it can easily move from one place to another and was exactly as shown in advertisement online. Order placed on Monday and it arrived on Friday exactly as they informed me. Free shipping and no sales tax was added bonus. Provided excellent product info and quick check out system. Pleasant transaction and if i or my friends or family need anything will look on your web site again. Many thanks!
Great price, but I'm having problems claiming warranty information due to the order confirmation containing no date. The "Need Expert Advice?" telephone number leads me to a 'congratulations, you've just won...' automated attendant that does not allow any other option except to claim the 'prize'. So frustrated!
I am currently remodeling my kitchen and needed to purchase all new appliances. I shopped around locally and then decided to look online. I found different websites that offered what I was looking for with an added benefit of no sales tax and free shipping. I purchased 6 appliances in all. 2 of the appliances I purchased from HomeEverything.com and the other 4 I purchased from AJ Madison.com. I purchased based on price since both offered the same benefits. AJ Madison processed and shipped my items in a timely manner. HomeEverything never shipped my order. I waited a month for my ship date which came and went. I called customer service to inquire and they told me it would be the end of the week. I choose to cancel my order becasue of other reviews which had the same problem. My credit card was charged immediately so I am expecting a refund. However I will dispute the charge if I don't recieve in 48 hours. I am done dealing with these people. Customer Service took too long to answer and then they were rude. I have since purchased the items from AJ Madison and expect them soon. I'm just sorry I wasted my time with HomeEverything.
I purchased built-in-dishwasher, oven and cooktop with accessories from them. I received all orders within the time frame as I expected. I recommend homeeverything.com.
I wish I'd read the reviews before I ordered a stove from this company. On Sept 11th I ordered a stove. It is now Oct 1st I am still without a stove or any confirmations as to when I will actually have a working stove. Their game is to take your money immediately then you wait, try calling you are are put on hold for up to 25 minutes, after three of these phone calls and being told it would ship on Thursday or Friday I find out that it is just being shipped to another delivery company. You'd think they would have explained that but NO. It took several more phone calls to find that out. Now the company is on (jewish) holiday and I am left waiting. I moved into a house in the country a week after I placed the order and have been without a stove for over 2 weeks. Now I learn that the delivery company will bring the stove through "the threshold" but I am told I have to get ahold of home everything again to arrange for an installer. Oh God help me is this for real? How the hell can a company like this exist. I am so angry and from reading thre other reviews I have no confidence that I will have a working stove anytime soon. I am now looking into canceling the order. I think the only way this company will change it's tactics or lack of them is if people cancel orders. Hope this help someone else.
If I could rate a ZERO, I would. I ordered an LG refrigerator on May 25. I received an email confirmation stating that my order would ship within 7-14 days. They charged my CC on May 25 for the full amount. I patiently waited for my order. On June 22, I emailed and called them saying that I have not received any communication from them regarding my order and needed to know the status. I did not get a response. I emailed again on June 24 and demanded a refund if I did not receive a response. I got an email response from a sales rep. He emailed and said that my item will be shipped out shortly. He even added a 5 yr warranty to my order for free. On June 28, I received a shipping confirmation saying that it would ship out June 29. I check on June 29, the shipping date changed to June 30. On June 30, I checked again and it shows an estimated shipping date of July 1. It is now July 5, the estimated shipping date is now July 6?!?!?!? I am beyond frustrated as I have paid for the refrigerator on May 25. It is now more than a month and I have not received my order! I called AMEX to cancel my purchase and they are handling the dispute now.
DO NOT BUY FROM HOMEEVERYTHING.COM!
I ordered a frigidaire dishwasher from them (order number cho*******) and have a very bad experience. Probably the WORST experience from all my online purchases in my entire life.
I am stuck with a dishwasher with a BIG ding on the front door and I can't do nothing about it because they NEVER pick up the phone.
If you are placing an order they will answer the phone quickly but by the time you are calling about the existing order *******484 option 2, they just don't answer the damn phone!
Read the return policy carefully:
1. You have to make sure the package is good when you receive the shipment from UPS.
HOW? Do you think UPS guy is willing to sit around for 30 min waiting for you to open the big boxes and inspect everything? They just dropped it off and took off. Once u open the box and find out the appliance get damage you are stucked with 100 pounds appliance!
2.24 hour window to return!
I called UPS once I opened the box and they told me to call Home everything but they did NOT pick up the phone! (Try call their number and option 2 for existing order, NO one will answer it!), so I tried to EMAIL them 4 times but NO response!
Be really careful, they don't response to your call after you place your order. Disputing the charge with your CC company won't help either. The citibank dispute department itself is trying to call them due to NO response.
I am giving up, this is just the WORST experience I have purchasing online. The CC told me the only thing I can do is to pay the broken dishwasher and WARN others of this merchant so people won't fall into the same situation
DO NOT order from Homeeverything.com. My experience was bad enough to taint my preference for online shopping.
1) THE ORDER
Ordered Samsung RF266AEPN Refrigerator on MAY 19. RECEIVED order on JUNE 28. More that a MONTH after ordering.
The original shipping date on my order came and went without any notification from HomeEverything. Only after calling and sitting through a short rant from the customer service rep about how I shouldn't have ordered THAT fridge, did I get a promise that they would ship in a week.
One week later, no notification or shipment. Called. Told that they would be shipping in a week and offers me a $100 discount.
Never saw the discount.
Finally shipped.
2) THE DELIVERY
The delivery service arrived 45 minutes earlier than the scheduled 9AM-1PM time frame. Fortunately I was close enough to get back before they left.
Found out the delivery person had not been given notification of my PRE-PAID IN-HOME DELIVERY, and proceeded to gripe and complain about having to bring it in the building. Eventually the fridge was left in my parking space because the dimension of the fridge made it impossible to fit through the door without removing the doors... an extra $30-$50 charge.
3) THE LEMON
Installed the fridge. Plugged it in. Everything works fine... or not. One day later the fridge stops cooling. Technician says there's a crack in the system and all the gas has leaked out.
SUMMARY
Don't be fooled by HomeEverything's low prices.
Terrible service. Lengthy delivery times. Defective merchandise (which maybe can be blamed on the delivery company).
Not only they had the best prices on the price engines, but they also offered a lot of saving coupons consistently.
I STRONGLY SUSPECT THAT THIS COMPANY "COOKS" THEIR ONLINE REVIEWS IN THEIR FAVOR! IF YOU READ THE REVIEWS THEY ARE GOOD, BUT ON ALL SITES THEY SOUND SIMILAR. ALSO, THERE ARE MANY 5-STAR REVIEWS, AND MANY 1-STAR REVIEWS I SUSPECT THEY ARE TRYING TO HIDE. OUR EXPERIENCE FOLLOWS; IF YOU READ THROUGH YOU WILL FIND OTHER SIMILAR REVIEWS.

We placed our order on September 4th, but it did not ship until September 27th. During this time, it was nearly impossible to reach customer service. The only way to get a response from them was to use their automated e-mail form, which took 3 days to get a response. If you call their sales line (the only way to get someone on the phone) and ask any questions other than wanting to place an order, they will hang up on you. When the order finally did ship, it took over a week to arrive, and they were additionally a day later than their scheduled delivery. The "icing on the cake" was that when the item finally arrived (over 5 weeks after order), it was significantly damaged.
Ordered my merchandise 42 days ago and it was never received nor was the credit they offered 12 days ago to keep my order. This company is a fraud.
I was told i will get my item within 5 business days, however it took 7 days. Still not too bad. Price was really good.
Ordered a stove on 10/10. Homeeverything.com offered a promotion $20 discount for orders placed before 10/12 - however, as I navigated the checkout menu there was no input for this "promotion". I emailed twice about getting credit for this offer and both times received replies directing me to a rebate offer which had nothing to do with this item. I even explained the issue and there was no response to my direct question. I received a phone call stating that the stove would be delivered on 11/16 between 9AM and noon. A few hours later they called and said it would be on 11/18. So I arrange to hang around the house and make a appointment for the appliance technician to remove my old stove and install the new one. I waited ALL day and there was no delivery, no phone call. I had the tech wait around an hour while I debated whether he should start taking out the old stove. Instead, I told him that we should try this when I actually receive the stove because my luck with this purchase was really getting sour. I called the distributor who passed me off to the trucking company who only had a voicemail which they obviously disregard because I never got a return call regarding the delivery. I again called the distributor who returned my call explaining that the trucking company only delivers to my area on Thursdays - and the next Thursday was Thanksgiving. So they arrange another company and my stove finally shows up 10 days after being told it was going to be delivered. It's missing the top grille and I'm now trying to contact them to get the missing piece. I expect a runaround and a long delay which will most likely be detailed here in a few days.
Show some love to homeeverything folk's. My order was 2 days late. Big DEAL, they even called me to tell me it will be two days late.
I cannot get thru anymore on the website-- the insurance I bought to repair the units is no longer working. Stay way!
I ordered a refrigerator from Home Everything on August 16,2010. I was told I would HAVE DELIVERY within 7 - 14 days. When I called them on the 15th day I was told that was 7 - 14 BUSINESS days, and told my shipment would go out on August 31, Sept 2 at the latest and that I would receive an email with a tracking number when it was shipped. On September 3rd I called and was told that yes, it shipped, and I will forward you the email with the tracking number. I received an email, but the tracking number spot was blank. So, I called again, and was told that "Oh, I guess it takes 24 hours before we are issued a tracking number, but you will have it by the close of business today." They also gave me the name and number of a shipping company that was to deliver my refrigerator. I finally received a tracking number on the 6th, and it was from a totally different company. When I called this company, she said it would be sitting in Dayton a day or two more because they don't deliver to my area. AND she said "How are you going to get this off the semi. I see it weighs 450 pounds." WHAT? I HAVE TO UNLOAD IT OFF THE SEMI? I don't think so. I was told it that it would be delivered. Sitting on a semi in my driveway is not delivered in my opinion. So, here I sit 3.5 weeks after ordering my refrigerator waiting for a call back from the trucking company to see what it can work out about getting the refrigerator off the truck when it finally does get here... and who knows when that will be. Needless to say, I don't think the $100 I saved myself by ordering from Home Everything was worth the hassel.
I placed an order for a range on October 17th. I was told my order would ship on October 27th, November 2nd, November 5th, and November 11th. Of course they charged my credit card on October 18th. I canceled my order on November 8th after speaking with Michael. He tried everything to try and get me to not cancel. Maybe if they would have tried this hard to deliver my range I would have had it by now. Now I get the unfortunate task of trying to get them to credit my card. I was promised it would be done by November 12th, but once again the deceit continues. My husband contacted Joe yesterday. He said he couldn't credit my card because it had been too long and I would have to contact my credit card company and do a charge back... however... he said if I would remove a review I placed on another on-line review site, he would go out of his way and take care of it for me. When my husband told him that wasn't going to happen, he said that we would have to contact our credit card company. Seems to me they are in a way holding my money hostage until I remove that review, especially since they have the ability to credit my card but choose not to because I won't remove an honest review. Very unethical business practices! Do not do business with this company. I sure wish I would have checked their rating with the Better Business Bureau and other rating websites before I placed my order. I would have NEVER ordered from them. The hassle is definitely NOT worth the minimal savings. If I could give some advice, I would say avoid this company at all costs.
I am posting this experience on every site I can to warn people about this horrible company. Amazingly (after reading these reviews), I did get the item that I ordered, but there was no communication regarding shipment or when the delivery would be. I considered buying from a local Home Depot or Lowes, but homeeverything had a "$100 gift card" with purchases over a certain amount, so I determined that I would save money that way. I was supposed to have gotten my gift card in 10 days; it took two months and about ten phone calls (10-20 minutes on hold each time) for me to actually get the email with instructions on the gift card. When I followed the instructions in the email, I found out that the "gift card" will actually only work if you spend more than the amount of the card - to actually get $100 off the price of your meal, you have to spend $200 on the meal (who does that?!?!); that's not a gift card - it's a discount. Nowhere in their promotion did it say "terms and conditions may apply" or anything like that. Here's what it said, verbatim from the promotional emails that I am still getting. Save $1000 and get dinner on us! Claiming your gift card is easy! Simply enter the coupon code "DINNER100" when making a purchase of $300 or more. Ten days after your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your $100 restaurant.com gift card and instructions on how to redeem it. Enjoy! One Gift Card per order. - Notice the "dinner on us" part? I have called them five times about this; the customer reps, when they actually ANSWER THE PHONE, are extremely brusque, and they get angry and rude when you contradict them. One fellow told me to email *******@homeeverything.com. I emailed Albert twice, and got no response either time. I called back, spoke to an equally rude rep, and was told that Albert was the wrong person to email; I needed to email *******@homeeverything.com. I asked if he was in the habit of answering his email, since Albert obviously doesn't, and I was assured that Jamie definitely answers customers' concerns as they are very important to him. I have emailed Jamie twice to no avail. I am waiting for Monday to call them back, since they have no hours on the weekend or after 3PM on Friday. I already reported them to the Better Business Bureau; they have had over 80 complaints in the past three years. I wish every one of their customers would take the time to complain; these people should be run out of business.
As a first time buyer with your company I was very pleased with your pricing and service!
