Ordered a Prime Rib for Christmas Dinner from the online store. It was about $100. And about half of it was fat and inedible. Very embarrassed to have to serve this to my guests. I have ordered hams in the past and they were really good. Last month my sister ordered 2 Tenderloins and they were exceptionally good. I don't know what happened with his Prime Rib. Realizing that Prime Ribs do have a certain amount of fat, this was exceptionally fatty.

Folks have always offered the best holiday ham in the world. For the last 4 years you switched to a $5 supermarket brand coffee cake, and our holidays have changed, after 15 years, because we refuse to serve it for dessert
Their catalog says "serves 6 to 8". The actual packaging says "serves up to 4". Now we have more people than food thanks to their false advertising. Their offer of "all anyone here can do, including my supervisor, is offer you a $15 gift card towards your next purchase." Thanks for wrecking Christmas dinner
Just went there, ordered 2 sandwich meals. Went to the car only one sandwich. Went back in and was told I made the sandwiches where is your sandwich and she handed back the bag. Paid 20.56. Where is my sandwich? Will not ever be going here again.
Ordered a ham and turkey a month ago for our Thanksgiving. Was supposed to arrive yesterday. It was a no show. Not going to let it ruin my turkey day though. And have to add I'm thankful for side dishes this year.
What ever happened to the ham salad? Dry and tasteless! And the ham, dry as a bone. Hardly any topping. $114 and threw it in the garbage. Never going back! I had to pick 1 star but it really deserves no star.

A store should reserve items for pre-paid orders before selling to walk-ins; thus selling out of the item making impossible to fill the pre-paid orders. I will never order from here and will advise others not to shop here.
I ordered a ham, and I also ordered a ham for my disabled dad who can't leave his house. I was told the delivery date would be Friday April 10th. Neither ham showed up. I have left emails, and tried to call, but no one answers the phone. Now what, the ham is going to show after Easter. I have used honey baked ham for years, but not anymore. I guess all good things must come to an end. I just want my money back, I don't want the hams now!
I placed an order on March 30 for delivery on April 8. I was told I would get email with tracking number on April 8.
I never got it and ham was not delivered. I wrote customer service. I got email saying I would hear back within 24 hours. I did not hear back. I called on Friday, April 10 and was on hold for 3 hours. When I was able to speak with a rep, I was told it would be delivered that day by OnTrac. A tracking number was not available. Ham was not delivered. It never did get delivered. I have written them a couple of times. The last time I asked for a full refund. The response I got back an email with their website and the same customer service number I had called previously. This time I was 301 in the queue. I am not waiting on hold again. They have lousy customer service in terms of delivery and follow-up with customers. The 2 times I had contact with them at the beginning I was told lies.
We ordered a smoked turkey breast on 11/14/18 and it was scheduled for delivery on 11/21/18. We didn't receive our turkey breast by 11/21/18 or any other date. Horrible turkey taste big ripoff doesn't look or taste like turkey ruin the holiday season wish I had read the reviews same complaint. Stick with the ham let the turkey and who ever suggested it needs to be fired.
Chula Vista store. Omg! Terrible service, I asked to buy one half pint of baked beans they say? They're not allowed to sell half a pint they do have a pint, that's terrible And the store looks, nasty I will never buy a sandwich again they never have nothing.
I ordered a ham for delivery on December 2, the date of our party was December 4. I received notice it would be delivered on December 3. It wasn't! I had to the grocery store in the morning to purchase a ham (at less than 1/2 the price for the Honeybaked ham). By the time the Honeybaked ham was delivered late afternoon December 4, we were almost finished with our meal! I have been buying honey baked and and Turkey for the past five years and have never had an issue. The line is usually around the building however it goes very fast and I've never had an issue picking up my products that I reserved. The staff at the San Jose location are fast, friendly, and efficient. The food is always a hit with my family and since I usually host Thanksgiving dinner I trust that I can relax and my food will be ready for pickup!

I purchased a ham for the holidays and had HORRENDOUS service. I said something to the girl that I was going to have to complain to management. Her response was and this is almost the exact wording... "I don't care as I am seasonal help." So I emailed the corporate headquarters and never received a response back. So therefore, they have lost me as a customer and I will NEVER give them another penny of my hard earned money. By this time of the year, I would have already spent hundreds of dollars with them and since the incident I have not purchased another item. Yes, the ham tastes good but it is beyond overpriced anyways so I will save myself a lot of money every year.
I ordered ham for Thanksgiving- didnt receive it! Called customer service to find out that they forgot to place the order. After apologizing, they offered to send the ham for New Year s Eve. Again - no delivery! I called the customer service again, they promised to deliver in 2 weeks, and AGAIN, I didnt get the ham delivered! I will never order from this company, and recommend everyone not to do so either!
Tried ordering online and kept kicking me out so I called and sat on hold forever for someone to answer then hang up. I called back again and waited on hold for another 20min, told the lady how long I've waited and how the first Lady picked up and hung up, she didn't say sorry or respond at all. I told her about the $5 shipping it said online and she said it is $5 off but reads $5 shipping on 11/24 and she said yeah I don't know why it says that but it's wrong and would'nt honor it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said hold on I'll try to get someone then left me in hold for 15 more minutes which is when I hung up. Horrible customer service!
If I could give them a zero rating I would. I ordered a large ham for Xmas. The website sent 2 order notices so I immediately called. After being on hold for nearly 30 minutes, I was informed they could not cancel the 2nd order. 3 calls later, no help and I now have 2 large HBH orders.

DO NOT USE! They WILL NOT correct any order mistakes on the website! 4 calls, total and they requested that I sign up for My UPS and RE-ROUTE the second (mistaken) ham myself. How ridiculous is that? But I attempted to do so, and found that both were out for delivery on the same route when I received my tracking notice. (2 separate orders- 1 was an exact duplicate of the other).

We purchase a honey baked ham several times a year. Also buy turkey breast, ham bones, soup mix, side dishes, different spreads for sandwiches, etc.
Picked up a large boneless ham mid November from your Sarasota store. We were not allowed to see the ham (due to Covid?) and was really disappointed when we got home and opened it. There was NO crunchy sugar coating, the ham was dry AND the meat was grisly. The worst ham we have had in over 40 years of buying HBH. This was after another HBH quality disappointment earlier this year.
Unfortunately the quality of your product has deteriorated significantly in last couple years, which is very sad.
We loved your products for many years and were willing to pay your premium prices because they were high end and made us happy. No more.
I would give a zero if I can. Dont ever order delivery or try to use the website or call on phone. When it wasn't delivered on Friday as promised, I stayed on phone for over 4 hours with no response. No response from email either. Called store directly and told me that they just take order and send it to shipping. No response from shipping phone number or email provided. Yet still advertising on TV on delivery. I was told that I can pick up at store and pay another exhoribant amount of money for meal and then try to get refund.
Your business sucks! I ordered a ham that was promised to be delivered for Easter and you LOST MY ORDER! Not only did you lose my order, you had no intention of notifying me of the fact, giving me time to figure out another meal item to serve. I orderd the ham/turkey breast combo on Nov11 on line with my cc. I called them today Mon 23 to inquire about shipping... they said its scheduled for next Mon the 30th... there's nothing they can do - he said I should of called instead of using online... then why the F do you have that option... he didn't offer any solution just a "sorry" it then took approx 5 mins to find and cancel the order... THANKS FOR NOTHING

IF they have something in stock (they are constantly OUT of stock of everything), then you MIGHT get what you ordered a couple of days or a week later than what they say the delivery date is. You will NOT get a shipping date / tracking number in a timely fashion, trust me on this, and your order will NOT be delivered on time. Their "customer service" line is a joke - all they say is they can't do anything except send the information to a supervisor who "works periodically throughout the day helping customers".
IF you want something, go to the store. DO NOT order it online, EVER! Last 2 orders have both been late being shipped and their "customer service" is worthless. And the shipping costs? Un-freaking-believable!

My order I placed 2 weeks ago never got delievered like I paid for and then they kept me on hold for 3 hours and 12 minutes just to disconnect me once I was down to caller 3 in the queue. Did I mention THREE HOURS. I think that is a record for time I have spent on holdin my entire life. I dont even like Ham! But my family does and it was for Easter... now I have to try to figure Easter dinner out with 1 day to spare and the grocery stores being out of everything. WORST EVER! They only got a star from me because it wont let me leave it blank.
I ordered a ham online on Friday, 12/11/20 at 11:30 PT for delivery on Thursday, 12/17/20 so I would have it in plenty of time for my family Christmas dinner which was set for Monday, 12/21/20. When the ham wasn't delivered on the 17th I called customer service. They told me I could not get my money back and when or if the ham was delivered I would have to refuse it. All I got was I'm sorry! I filed a complaint on their customer service website. Lia got back to me via email and said she would like to call me at 8:30 am on the 18th I gave her my permission via email. Well the 18th came and went with no call. For a company that supposedly prides themselves on good customer this is disgusting! If I ever get a honeybaked ham again I will NEVER do it online. It will be in store only!

I placed an order as a gift for a family member for Easter to be delivered today, Friday. I never received an email saying that it was shipped so I tried to call customer service to find out the status. Called the 1-800 number and was 150+ in line with a wait time of over 2 hours. Gave up on that and tried to call a local store only to be routed to someone who picked up but said he did NOT work for Honeybaked Ham and informed me that due to more important COVID-related deliveries that my ham could not be delivered. A bunch of BS as all my other online ordered have been delivered on time. He said he couldn't even check on the status of my order and when asked if it would EVER be delivered, even if post-Easter, he couldn't answer that and just said to call my credit card company to get a refund. Ridiculous! It is a gift I told someone to expect and now it isn't going to arrive at all?!
