Ordered a Prime Rib for Christmas Dinner from the online store. It was about $100. And about half of it was fat and inedible. Very embarrassed to have to serve this to my guests. I have ordered hams in the past and they were really good. Last month my sister ordered 2 Tenderloins and they were exceptionally good. I don't know what happened with his Prime Rib. Realizing that Prime Ribs do have a certain amount of fat, this was exceptionally fatty.

Folks have always offered the best holiday ham in the world. For the last 4 years you switched to a $5 supermarket brand coffee cake, and our holidays have changed, after 15 years, because we refuse to serve it for dessert

Their catalog says "serves 6 to 8". The actual packaging says "serves up to 4". Now we have more people than food thanks to their false advertising. Their offer of "all anyone here can do, including my supervisor, is offer you a $15 gift card towards your next purchase." Thanks for wrecking Christmas dinner

We received a Honey Baked brisket and had to throw over one third of it away. All fat. The HBH representative said that was normal. Beware. You will pay $85 for very little meat and a lot of fat.

Spent $65 for a honeybaked ham which turned out just like a grocery store ham! Will not be buying one again and this is unfortunate since I have been a customer for over 25 years. Too bad!

Hello i place an order for a luncheon the assorted box sandwiches. I entered instruction for how many of each sandwich i wanted. When i received the order it wasn't correct. I call ez cater who call Honey Baked ham. I was told they didn't see the instruction and it wasn't in the correct place. We spent $350.00 and i couldn't get i apology for the mistake. If i wanted a correction it was going to cost another almost a hundred dollars.
I was very disappointed and we won't order from them again. The customer didn't matter in this case.

I ordered a mini ham and turkey online for Thanksgiving 2020. The shipping cost was $18 but I thought it would be convenient to have it delivered instead of driving 25 min one way while waiting in like with my store reservation. The order was supposed to be delivered on Friday, 11/20/2020. I elven got an email from honey baked saying it was shipped 2 days before the delivery date. However when I checked the tracking number it only shows a label was created with UPS on 11/20/2020. This is the day it was supposed to arrive at my house! I called customer service the next morning to see where my order was and they blamed it on ups and said that ups is delivering on Saturday and Sunday and that it may arrive over the weekend. It is now Monday morning and no food! I want my money back. Where is my food? Has it been left out for several days now waiting to be picked up? I have major health safety concerns because we are going on 5 days since the email said it shipped. Never order from here online. Now I am scrambling to figure out what to do for Thanksgiving since this is not reliable.

Bought and PAID for a ham /turkey combo... as a GIFT... PAID for 2nd day air scheduled weeks in advance... the day it was SUPPOSED to arrive Came and went with NO DELIVERY! Then checked ups tracking... they said delivery date changed till MONDAY. That was an extra 3 days of sitting around for a total of 5 days TRANSIT time. NO explanations from ANYONE. But a "We do apologize"... and " you are NOT the only person that did not receive their order.! Plus they would not reship it NEXT day to expedite it getting there pre XMAS... stay CLEAR of this Take your $$$ and run company! BE WARNED

Ham was not spiral cut, slices about 3 in with the cut off. Price inside package different than outside package. Called store said probably a mixup. Sawmill Rd, Dublin, Oh. Beware

I am a healthcare worker in San Diego. Like many others I have been trying to avoid grocery stores and other crowded places as much as possible. Online order From Honey baked ham seemed like a great option. I placed my order on April 3. They guaranteed Easter delivery as long as order was placed by April 8. Long story short. No Easter dinner, nothing on the website letting anyone know orders are not coming. 5 hour wait to call customer service. Finally after 5 days I was able to reach a representative who told me they most LIKELY will give me a refund. But I have to wait up to a week for a callback. The picture I included is the spam we had to raid out of our pantry. #honeybakedspam for Easter. I used to be a business owner. When you mess up you go above and beyond to make things right. I am disgusted by this company and the response I have received thus far. Hope others will read this and think twice before doing business with HoneyBaked Ham company... Update, Honeybaked Ham sent me an email today. The email was a cold message that we will be getting a refund. Again no apologies or explanation of why we did not receive our Easter dinner.

Purchased ham for Easter. It was a splurge but we spent the $55 for a quarter ham to have a nice meal. I was so surprised and disappointed when I opened it on Easter and it was burned BLACK. We tried to eat it because we had nothing else, but the whole thing tasted like burned sugar.

I called the store the next day and they told us to bring it in and "it would be very helpful to bring the receipt." I assumed that a company that charges that much would stand by their product. I looked everywhere and could not find the receipt. I even dug through a garbage to find it. We brought it in as soon as we could as we were traveling.

The manager was unapologetic and refused to make it right. She didn't care that our meal was ruined. She refused to issue any refund even though she could clearly see the price we paid on the label and she could clearly see how terribly burned it was. The most she offered was a $25 gift card, less than half the value of what we purchased. And who would want another burned ham anyway?

Who would ever think to hold on to a receipt for a ham? Terrible, terrible experience. I will never buy anything from this store again.

Honey Baked Hams are delicious. However, NEVER NEVER NEVER order one online for a special occasion. I ordered a full dinner for Christmas and UPS was able to deliver the sides but the company Honey Baked shipped the ham with [on track] was unable to deliver due to "bad weather." It was a gorgeous day at my address and surrounding environs. This was just an excuse and ruined the holiday for us. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY EVER!

Everyyear for chrismtas, thanksgiving, and easter my wife's family comes over to celebrate wiht us. i've been doing it for 30 years at least now where we get honeybaked ham and porkloin from the honey baked ham company. Its always the highlight of our festivities and i can always relie on these guys to send me what i need. I used to order threw the paper catalog but i guess to save paper they prefer it for me to order online.

I ordered a ham/pecan pie combo back in September for delivery this week. Our dear friend who is just home from a long recovery from a heart attack texted me to thank me for the TURKEY and pecan pie. I know my friend doesn't like turkey and we are all honey baked HAM fans. I have a ham being delivered to myself tomorrow for our family holiday dinner. I was on hold with Honey Baked for over an hour explaining my situation and at the end of the call I am no better off than I was before calling. No exchange, no refund, no accomodation of any kind. In fact the "supervisor" Mike couldn't get me off the phone quick enough. I know it's the week before Christmas but really this was very poor customer service. I work for Edward Jones and they ship their admin staff hams every year. It is a big account and I will make sure they're aware of the poor service and maybe we can find another company to do business with because clearly Honey Baked doesn't care about their customers even though their website says "satisfaction guaranteed".

If a company advertises, both in print and on television, a product or service, charges your account, and then never delivers the product or service, is that not fraud? I ordered a ham online, and, of course, no ham was delivered. There is no response to emails and, as others have reported here, there is no way to speak to "customer service". As you get to the bottom of the phone que, you are disconnected. Perhaps this company should have spent less on television ads and more on delivery services. While I understand that all those of us who might have gone out for dinner on Sunday were going to be ordering instead, one would think that Honey Baked Ham would have anticipated the sheer numbers of orders, particularly online orders due to the "Stay Home" lockdown. I googled the company and was interested in
The name of their CEO. I hope Linda Van Rees had a nice Sunday, April 12,2020. We didn't have our ham.
I would like my money returned, no, correction, I want my money returned. Lesson learned.

I ordered a ham for Christmas with pick up the day before. A blizzard is in the forecast, and they are advising people to stay off the roads. I called to see if I could pick up my ham a few days earlier, and although the hams had ALREADY BEEN DELIVERED, they were unavailable for pick up until your scheduled day, blizzard or not! No effort whatsoever to try and accommodate people for the holidays or help their customers knowing that it wasn't safe on your day to pick up. The hams are good, but they are unwilling to do anything they consider out of their way for the customer.

Ordered 5 hams sent to 5 different locations, NO HAMS DELIVERED! THEY TOOK MY MONEY, DID NOT SEND CONFIRM #, CALLED THEM 3 DIFFERENT TIMES, WAIT TIME 3 HOURS EACH TIME, WHEN I'M DOWN TO 30 PEOPLE THEY HANGUP ON ME.
Over the years honeybaked has gone down hill, Last straw for me, never again!
Now I have to call my bank to get my money back!

For the past few years I sent Honeybaked Ham gifts to my husband's parents and his brother's family for Christmas. As usual, this year the on-line order process was adequate and I received shipping notifications from UPS. Christmas came and went.
All seemed good until Jan 15th when I received a notice from UPS that Honeybaked decided to cancel one of the shipments - turns out they never gave a package to UPS to fulfill the order. Shame on me for not tracking the package and it's not polite to call people and ask "Hey, how about that ham we sent you"?
I sent an email to HoneyBaked Ham and let them know how disappointing it is to find out from UPS that they didn't fulfill my order. I should have heard it from them. I also let them know they really helped me score points with my in-laws (sarcasm). I inquired if they had let me down in previous years without my knowledge and would like to come clean now.
The email I got back apologized that the delivery was not what I expected - what kind of an apology is that? - and since they valued my business they would go ahead and refund my money or fulfill the shipment. Really? What if they didn't value my business?
On a good note - they sent me a credit receipt within the hour after I requested a refund.

Bought 3 pounds cooked pot roast and was anxious to serve for dinner but when I hurryed and had a bite of it was very HIGH ON SODIUM! I'm in my 60's and I know this is going to be harmful to my health.

I had been going to HBH for several years, since it's around the corner from our home. We used to love the sandwiches for lunch on Saturdays. Could never go on Sundays because they are closed. I used to look forward to the Ham Classic sandwich. I always ordered mine without mayo, Cheddar instead of Swiss cheese.
I have noticed the quality of the ham has been going downhill more and more.Can barely even chew it anymore.
A few weeks ago, we went for a BOGO deal. Ordered the Ham Classic, same as always. My husband ordered the Tavern Club. We brought the sandwiches home to eat outdoors. Mine had no honey mustard. Dried up, tough ham. Very stale croissant. My husband's had no cheese, no honey mustard. The bread was very stale. The turkey tasted lousy.
The manager came out from the back to ask if we could give a good review to the new girl at the register. Heck no! You have to earn and deserve a good review.
After reading some of the reviews here, I don't ever want to buy food from HBH again! I'm afraid to.

Tip for consumers:
You're better off buying cold cuts at the deli than eating this!

I went to get a half boneless ham today and was told I could not get it without reserving it in advance also I could not get the quarter bone in without reserving it also so I had to buy a more expensive half bone in ham if you are going to make it a reserve thing you need to advertise it or put it on the coupons or something, not let it be a total surprise after you wait in line for over an 1 hour to get a ham what happened to first come first serve maybe you need to sale on line and pick up at the store no surprises there I was very disappointed today I have been buying hams there for over 20 years now and never had to reserve it in advance

Today, 8/24/2020, I purchased Cinnamon Apples and a Carrot Cake. I have not had a chance to prepare the apples, but, the Carrot Cake was dry, but, beautiful. Nice Presentation, but, expensive and dry. Do not mind paying for products if it live up to the hipe. OMGosh, I thought the case would have been close to their amazing ham. I was so disappointed in the cake. FYI Rouses Supermarket Carrot Cake is AWESOME!

Dear Keith,
Let me start off by saying I truly appreciate that your open during this CoVID-19 crisis. For someone like myself who is in Health care at a hospital this is a very trying and stressful time. I am working long hours so unable to prep my children and their family's dinner to drop off this year, since we are unable the gather this Easter like we have always done in the past. So here were you employee's played a role in added stress to an already stressful time. I was schedule to pick up on 4/8/2020 I had order 5 family meals with the 10 dollar off coupons for hams ( I only was using 3 of them) I called Linda around 5 PM to let her know I was needed to stay at the hospital to help with the Crisis. She was so kind and thanked me for my services and said no worries you would be open tomorrow with extended hours. I was so relieved I left the hospital after 16 hours and was able to go to sleep knowing my husband was going to pick up today. When he arrived today to pick up the Guy that helped him was rude refused to take our coupons. My heart is so sad I thought Kansas City was better than that. So consider the $ 330.00 you got the last you will ever get from our family. I only go to places that treat people with respect and are kind to everyone.

Bought a honey baked ham in store for Xmas.I wanted a spiral ham bone in and glazed.got a plai jane ham in a whte wrapper.it was terrible.absolutely no flavor.bought at store in San Antonio on I10 in the Conade.I ha ve always had a good ham.but this was terrible.paid good money for a 4Lb. + ham.would never recomend this to anybody.my expectations we r e dashed... More than a week, I order Turkey, Ham and all sides dishes online, after I made the order, I called the customer service to conform again able my order. They told me every things will be delivery on time before the thanksgiving day, BUT IT CAME AFTER THE THANKSGIVING DAY, so I called again and asked for my money back. I believe this will be very right thing they can do for me, right? NO, THEY TOLD ME THEY CAN ONLY REFUND ME 15% AND TOLD ME, I STILL CAN EAT THE HAM, THAT WHY 15% REFUND ONLY, WOW! I get so mad and I yell at the phone, finally, they promised to return full amount of money after I told them I will take them to the count... WHAT A DAY. I HOPE NO BODY HAVE THE LUCK LIKE I DID!
