Folks have always offered the best holiday ham in the world. For the last 4 years you switched to a $5 supermarket brand coffee cake, and our holidays have changed, after 15 years, because we refuse to serve it for dessert

Their catalog says "serves 6 to 8". The actual packaging says "serves up to 4". Now we have more people than food thanks to their false advertising. Their offer of "all anyone here can do, including my supervisor, is offer you a $15 gift card towards your next purchase." Thanks for wrecking Christmas dinner

Ham had ice crystals in it, wad wateryn & too salty. Smoked flavor was too strong more like bacon. Turkey breast was supposed to be natural juices flavor. It tasted like terriakI, had the texture of stale lunch meat, not even anything like turkey breast meat at all. Sides were skimpy. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were sitting a week in the refrigerator, & were watery. The sauce in the green bean casserole was watery & had to be boiled down. The scalloped apples were mostly an over-buttery flavored sauce & too few apples. My grandsons ate very little (did not like the ham or turkey), & didn't want seconds. Neither did my granddaughter or her father. I threw the remaining turkey in the garbage disposal. The ham didn't even taste good when used to make bean soup. I wish I could get every penny back. I would not recommend this company to anyone & would talk them out of it if they were thinking of buying it!

I ordered a ham with three sides for my Thanksgiving dinner and I found the sides to be the worst that I have ever seen. I was so excited that I wouldn't have to cook this Thanksgiving and I was totally embarrassed when I tasted of each of the sides. The ham was good as always but as always overpriced, but I can deal with that if it is good, but I will never make the mistake of purchasing sides to go with my ham again. Thank goodness I had a gift certificate and didn't have to pay the entire amount. I would have really been upset if I had paid the total amount. Over and done with Honeybaked.

I ordered last thanksgiving and they delivered after thanksgiving. Called customer service and was on hold first time for 40 minutes then transferred and edited for another 30 minutes.
I gave them a chance r this time for Christmas and asked my order to be delivered today, the 22nd as the party is tomorrow the 23rd. Sand thing happened was on hold for 50 minutes first time and another 30 minutes second time while she contact the UPS. It turned out that they will try to deliver it tomorrow ftom Sacramento. What a hustle. I called all my friends and family not to order anymore ftom this company. Worst in the planet for ordering and customer service.

I must say because of the covid19 I didn't see ham before leaving the store; but your hams are usually fresh and the meat let you know from color of the redness and the sugar and honey crust on the ham.

But ham was purchased on April 30,2020.
Expired on 5-9-2020

My children made sandwiches the same day.

Only to discover they became ill: I noticed that the ham was darker than the other hams purchased.

I knew you would not take the ham back because of the virus.

I took the remains and threw it in the GarageBend.

This will not stop me from purchasing your ham.

I am sorry of the outcome from children.

Next time I will request to review ham before leaving the store if it is allowed.

Walked in and purchased my ham shanks burnt (heavily wrapped so I couldn't see or smell it) and tasted like carbon. Soup turned black from burnt shank( I thought it was just deeply smoked) and smell odd during cooking. CustomerService: on the phone said see the store, store said call 1 800- HaHa Ha for nor response... did that while was standing there, because now I have driven 100miles for a remedy.
So many good memories from the lovely hams and soups from the past. Oh well, Lose a good CEO (6/3/2022) Gain a crooked corner cutter. Its a shame. Word to the Wise... if it works dont change it. Your going to drive this company to BK if you continue w/this practice.

Tip for consumers:
If you buy in the store, unwrap your ham shank and check it for color and smell. They may try and off a burned one on you. Buy some one elses soup mix until the get things back in order. Just know that they are not the same quality as they were and to make sure you check things over.

Burnt ham shanks, bad soup mix bad(recipe is off) Ham slices did not taste the same ...no sweet edges, Turkey slices were good.

I ordered it for my grandmother, it was never delivered. No one responded to multiple emails, if you called you were disconnected and the one time I got through I waited on hold for 5 hours only to be disconnected. There was no follow up and if I had let them they would have just stolen my money. Its shameful that they took advantage of the current situation and people. My 83 year grandmother isn't going out, she lives far away from us and had no Easter dinner. If they couldn't fulfill the orders they shouldn't have committed to them. Shame on them for leaving people with nothing and no communication whatsoever. This is a sign of the character of this company and I would never recommend them to anyone. There are other business that are committed to helping people and providing them with resources and costumer service during this time.

Store clerk didnt want to accept my ereciept. I had three. Said I hadn't paid. Said my order wasnt there. Finally called her mngr. I got the carrot cake I'd ordered for a birthday. 8 of us and none could eat more than a taste b4 refusing more. Cake turned to crumbs when cut. Whole thing went into trash. This place a huge waste of time n money.

I ordered a ham for a client online, received the shipping & delivery confirmation, but the client never received the ham. I called and was told that HBH had fulfilled its part of the agreement and that my problem was with UPS. HBH offered to "help" me by starting an investigation through UPS - which will take up to 30 days. My agreement was not with UPS. HBH contracts with UPS to make their deliveries therefore it is their problem. They should have without question, replaced the lost ham. I am now out a $75 ham. I will be ordering my companies corporate gifts elsewhere next year!

The General Manager at the Pembroke Pines location was extremely rude and unprofessional to me on Wednesday, November 25,2020. I am well aware that the staff was extremely tired due to the high demand for Hams, Turkeys, etc. However after standing in line for over 30 minutes that night, I observed Mrs. Irrelevant allow a certain amount of customers to proceed towards the store and informed the last 10-12 customers whom were all in line before closing that if we did not have a reservation, we would not be able to make a purchase. When I asked to speak to the Manager, she advised me that she was the General Manager. When I asked for her name, she stated twice "IRRELEVANT" I have been a customer at this location for many years and have never been disrespected, or humiliated. If this behavior is allowed by the General Manager I could only imagine how the front line staff conducts themselves. You are supposed to lead by example.

Order my ham a month in advance for Christmas eve and to be delivered on the 23rd of december. The order didnt arrived on the 23rd and there is no food to serve for Christmas eve. On hold with customer service for an hour, wrote two complain feedbacks and no answer. WORST place to order, I have never experienced such bad customer service. Sharing then experience in my community to never order online.

Well, we finally ordered a HoneyBakedHam for our family get-together. Wow! Was it ever good! Even some family members who don't normally like ham enjoyed this one. Ordering online was a snap. The pickup process was organized and we barely waited a couple of minutes for our hams to be brought out. Now, a HBH may cost more than one in a grocery store, but there are several reasons why. First, HBHs are not full of water like other hams often are. Plus, the taste is fantastic! And, there is almost no waste at all. Except for a thin layer of fat to keep the ham moist, there was an unbelievable amount of ham to serve. Yes, we did get our hams with the meat on the bone, but that just makes it more flavorful. Plus, I'll use that ham bone to cook with beans. We are hooked! From now on, it's HoneyBakedHam for us.

Is it me or is there ham and turkey way too salty? Last minute decison to buy instead of cooking. I was cook all my meats but this year COVID changed our plans and I needed meat at last minute. The ham and turkey breast were so salty you couldn't eat more than one piece. I spent alot of money on meat to put in freezer to use in soups or jambalaya because of salt content. Best part of Thanksgiving were the side I made. Lesson learned. Never again!

We received a smoked turkey and augraten potatoes for a gift. First we received 2 potatoes, no turkey. The gift giver called as she bought a turkey and it was sent. The potatoes were good but the turkey was awful, way too much smoke, not edible. We love smokehouse food but this was more like a chemical smoke, horrible. Had to throw it away. Their food use to be good but something is wrong now.

I have enjoyed Honey Baked Hams for several years. It seems that the quality of the hams has been spiraling downward quickly. I purchased a ham for Easter. My mistake was not looking at it before I exited the store. I was expecting to have a moist, delicious Hiney Baked ham for my guests. Unfortunately, when I placed the ham on the serving platter (everyone wanted cold ham slices so it never even made it to my oven for warming) the ham was obviously burned. The outside of the ham was black to a depth of about 1/2 inch. The inside of the ham was brown, hard and crumbling. It was entirely inedible. So none of my guests got the expected Easter ham. Very, very disappointed.

Tip for consumers:
Always take a look at the ham before paying for it.

I ordered two turkey breast to be delivered for a large party I was having on the 22nd of December. Placed the order on the 19th to be delivery on the 21st. I was told it would come frozen, which it how I wanted it to assure that it would be fresh. The package arrived on time, however I notice before opening the package it was surrounded by ants. I opened the package and the breast were in an open bag and completely thawed and surrounded in ants. I called customer service and all they could tell me is they would credit my account. Now I am rushing out at the last minute to buy a turkey and then having to cook and prepare it.
Really disappointed!

I usually do order pick up but due to coronavirus scare and stay home order, I decided to order online. It says home delivery and it even stated on the website that they are partnering with ubereats and doordash, but it was a lie! Never got my order and it's supposed to be a next day delivery! Called twice and was on hold for almost 3 hrs! First time i spoke with someone named Janet and she said i might still get it by 9pm but nothing came and she said she will call me back the next day so I don't have to wait but she never did! Called the second time and on hold for almost 3 hrs and when my time almost came, i got a busy signal and nothing after that! They hung up on me when it was my time! Ridiculous to be going through this at this time of pandemic. Horrible!

Those "NEW" ham salad recipe Ian HORRIBLE The pickles makes it extremely salty! We ordered some for a charcuterie board... That was the worse mistake I made! GO BACK TO THE OLD RECIPE ASAP‼ FIRE THE PERSON WHO CAME UP WITH THAT NEW RECIPE

Went to the physical location in Northridge to ask questions about heating, sides, etc.

Reserved a ham and 4 sides for TGiving on 11/8/23 but was told I could not prepay for the order except online. Went online, couldn't find my order and called the main number and was told I had to use the Northridge store website to pay. Went to the Northridge site and again had difficulty finding where to pay, even with my two confirmation numbers. Called the store, was told I could not prepay online after all, that I could pay when I picked up the order at the store, despite being told at the store that they didn't take payments at the store (I spoke to a woman who was probably a recent hire.) Ridiculous procedures, I will happily find a ham at a nearby store. Too bad, as this was $150 order and we have frequent parties of 40 or more.

While I love HBH, I will not buy this year! Their offer for an $8 early curbside pichup discount, paired with only getting that discount if you give an "in-person" coupon, in apalling and disppointing as they try to help people by risking us all in this pandemic. Some smart kid (I have taught 1000 as a professor in MBA school) designed this to make people order, yet not risk / bother with printing the coupon. I hope that the CEO sees this review and realizes that her/his organization is out of integrity... so good bye to my annual $250 Thanksgiving order. Sincerely Mark D.

I called in an order for a box lunch. I also asked if they had any ham scraps because I wanted to pick up some for my dog. They told me that they had 5 bags. I asked if they could put aside 4 bags for me and I would pick it up in 30 minutes along with my lunch. When I got there I went to the preordered line. When I got to the front they told me I needed to get into the walk in line even though I had made my order ahead of time. When I finally got to the front of the line, they couldn't find my order so I had to completely reorder my lunch. They also didn't have any ham scraps available. They were "working on some" and they would be ready in 10 minutes. I was already running late so I just had to buy my lunch and go. No apology. They literally just laughed in my face.

Order Date: 11/17/2021 The ham was a glorified canned ham sliced real thin. The seasoning was only on 1/2 of the ham and it wasn't flamed! I paid $136 for shipping and handling and the ham and it was not a HBH original. I don't have a flame thrower to do it myself. Ruined my dinner. I had no idea that you have skimped on the ingredients. I am letting you know because I care. Unless you go back to original ways, I will do my own and better! Judy

John's Creek Ga location, nasty restaurant, temp workers, unmasked coughing on food, using knives to cut open cases of hams& turkeys, then use that same knife to cut the meat. Trash can, filled with trash, just sitting in the kitchen, General Manager Tasha, unmasked, fat & nasty that don't pay employees working through People Ready_ Norcross Georgia location. Both reported to Corporate and the Northern District Health Department

12/5/2022. I went to the sandwich side, as my eyes were dilated, I was about to ask a question, I said excuse me ma'am, her response without looking up was "FILL OUT THE SHEET", I promise you! I walked away but walked back and informed her that she was quite rude, her response was that's the way I talk now how can I help you! Of course I said you can't and asked for the manager, I begin to tell what happened and his response was oh that's (he called her name but I don't remember) she can be curt, but that's just her, so buyer beware, apparently rude is acceptable where you spend your money. I looked back on some of the other reviews and yes there are others with my experience and a 1 review.by the way, I did not purchase a meal, manager insisted, I accepted the meal and trashed it once I got to the dumpster, I wasn't about to eat anything prepared by someone I had just reported. By the way, I was fully capable of buying my meal, so I did not want anything for free!
