Pretty good price - but excellent feature set. Fantastico has been a really easy way for me to build my website: blog, gallery, poll. Support is always helpful around the clock.

Hostwinds is a great web hosting provider with a fantastic customer support with supereasy interafce. I am pretty much satisfied with their service till now.

Hi. My VPS won't connect again. It did connect in the first place but now I don't know what is happening.
It's stressing me out.

Though l don't known where my coupon from, it help me save about $4 per month. Hope hostwinds could provide more coupon for consumer.

The plan and subscription experience was ok, however due to some reasons hostwinds asked for further confirmation and credit card verification.

As usual every question was answered, I never feel that I have to hurry and finish my support requests. Well done!

I am upgrading to a new system to become PCI compliant. The team from Hostwinds has always provided excellent customer service.

I purchased ddos protection for my dedicated server thru the upgrade option on the dedicated server panel, 3 months ago. I was then ddos attacked on the night of 10/25 and did NOT receive any type of resolution for over 12 hours and was also sent a reply that was intended for another customer while being ignored. I requested a refund for the 3 months of ddos protection in which i was denied due to the protection being applied to a different block of ip addresses but not the block that i purchased. Thats not my fault as i purchased ddos protection specifically thru the dedicated server upgrades/addons section. Why would it not be applied to the block of ips that the dedi server is on? Then act like its my fault. Thats just really really really bad customer service. When you need them most they turn their back on you and youre just another dollar sign. Shame that a small company cant make a long time paying customer happy with a simple refund of $150 when they were clearly in the wrong. And not even offer half a refund or anything. I get nothing. No soup for me, only ddos attacks and my money taken from hostwinds. I have taken my dedicated server business elsewhere to a company with real ddos protection and support and i will be cancelling my web hosting with them soon as well.

Also have something in their terms and conditions that says youre not allowed to file chargebacks against them, what company does that? Super scummy business practices

Their support is top-notch, and very quick replies hopefully stay the same in the future. Will definitely recommend to others

Works perfectly fine leaving the pc on, however when i turn it off the bot stops working. Not sure why

Two things are featured on the Hostwinds home page, and throughout the web site. First prominently shouted is 60 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE; also loudly proclaimed is 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. In my experience neither is true. The boldness of Hostwinds makes me wonder from which orifice the wind breaks.

I was lured into signing up with Hostwinds, and within a few hours, it was clear that the plan I subscribed to could not provide the PHP version I craved. So I requested that Hostwinds cancel and refund.

Here is where Hostwinds gets weird. The response I received was that unless I spake the words "I confirm the cancellation of: Product: Basic Reseller and more descriptive information. Hostwinds would not cancel or refund. Mind you, the words please and cancel have not meaning or significance. One must chant the mantra of cancelation verbatim according to the dogma of Hostwinds, or the great host of wind will not smile upon you. How silly. My reply was then and remains I accept and adopt the dialog provided, without reservation or omission.

Not good enough the great Hostwind spake! Be cast out of our presence. Well thats effectively what they said after I disputed the charge upon the basis of Hostwinds offer of refund and satisfaction. Sad one must go to extremes when a business prefers to hold a pittance hostage instead of exercising the promise they held out.
