Hostwinds

I had some issues with redirecting my domain while maintaining my email and hosting services with Hostwinds. All of their support personnel are amazing. They are knowledgeable, kind and helpful. No matter what my concerns have been throughout my three months with them, I have always received the best customer support ever. My thanks to all that are there to provide excellent service.

I decided to switch over to what I thought was a better hosting company. WRONG! I went to migrate over some websites and they switched up the migration with one domain information being put in another domain and then losing information.

It took 4 days to fix it. I had a plan with 2 TB of bandwidth which is plenty for me. WRONG AGAIN!

Day 8 I was at 3.84 TB of data, Day 9 5.36

It was a server attack that I am now being billed for.

Be mindful when creating servers. Created two Unmanaged VPS server, one by mistake, paid only for the one I wanted using paypal and somehow was charged for both. Their return policy was fair (72h) but it seemed kind of strange how I managed to accomplish that.
I also changed my shopping experience from 4 stars to 3 stars due to the fact that reviewing needs a title and description

Am looking at needing hosting for more websites and registration of domain names and not sure if I'll stick with these guys just went with them cause they were recommended and they do adult xxx site hosting

Had three websites migrated to Hostwinds. After four months of countless support tickets, the websites never worked correctly. Frustrated with their hack attempts, I moved to Hostinger. Using the same backup files as provided to Hostwinds, migration with Hostinger was seamless and absolutely no issues using Wordpress. The difference in speed was dramatic. I requested a prorated refund from Hostwinds. Buyer beware. They only offer a credit on additional services. A gimmick. Who would want to remain with a provider after such a deplorable experience. In my view, this gimmick is tantamount to coercion to trade up and double down on a pathetic experience. I have no idea how many sales were lost using Hostwinds but thankfully, Hostinger had my sites up and running smoothly with the added advantage of very fast Wordpress editing online. If using Wordpress, I would strongly recommend avoiding Hostwinds. Their technical staff is underwhelming.

I was really impressed by service quality of Hostwinds.
My websites and databases are performing fast and stable.
Support guys can help with even dumbest question in a polite manner.
Price is reasonable and I am thankful for their cool service.

I signed up for hosting and they provided no service. Just kept creating support tickets passed on in an endless circle! I finally canceled and expected a refund but they refused. Even putting my account into collections even though they owe me! Beware of these people!

I called Hostwinds one day about issues I was having with my site. Seriously, I was having the worst day of my life; everything seemed to be going wrong. After talking to one of their support staff members I felt so much better - they where so polite and understanding it just made my day. I wanna say that Hostwinds has some of the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Prior to using their cloud web hosting, I had a website running on their shared hosting. When I had problems with their service and posted a video about it online, Hostwinds themselves reached out to me even though I didn't even ask for it. Now I am happy!

I made a couple mistakes during the setup process of my Wordpress site. Hostwinds support assisted me with every request I had that day. I had probably 5 or 6 requests before I was finished and all setup on my blog.

I've used Hostwinds for about 10 years. They are a solid company. They have live chat support with techs that are almost immediately there. I have used companies that it took 30-60 min or longer waiting in a queue before you get to chat with someone. I much appreciate how fast they pick up chat. That's a winner in my book, especially when you have a problem.

Best web host! Hostwinds offer nice 1-click installer and also free website builder (i've built 3 websites (joomla, wordress and opencart). Their rates are competitive, but better yet, their email support is unbeatable. Friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all, FAST!

I appreciate the updates after ordering. The ordering process took a while. I ended up having to do it twice and the second time through cost a few bucks more for the same thing. I'd tried a few months ago to get a similar set-up, but there was no availability. Other than that, I was happy with the chat support during the order. It was fast! I am already a hostwinds dedicated server customer, adding a bigger server. The hosting service itself is pretty good. The setup process is, in my opinion, unnecessarily slow. I got a message eight hours ago that the setup was complete, just need to activate windows. Then crickets.

Hostwinds offer really great services. I had been using their services for more than 3 months and was really happy with them.
Their VPS servers are offered for a cheap price. But the VPS servers work fast and are reliable. Servers respond fast, and ive never experienced down time. Features are very good and they increased everyone's bandwidth for free a while ago.

It was very easy to purchase hosting at a great introductory rate, and the yearly renewal rate is still extremely competitive. I was previously with another host for the past two years and so already had my domain and website built. Hostwing's technical staff was extremely fast in getting my site migrated and making sure I stayed online the whole time! I expect this time next year I'll be happy to renew!
