Very pleased with everything! Convenient location close to I-85 & COSTCO. 24 hour coffee in the lobby, professional staff, good hot breakfast, clean & comfortable beds. (Coffee could be better. It had an aftertaste that could've been caused by the water.)
Horrible and terrible Can't modify reservations at all even if you book early and someone from hotel wiz tried to request money from a different account of mine sayin it was for the hotel I don't even know how they got my other account information and they don't answer the customer service site just hangs up on you so you can't get into anybody and when you do, they're not very nice and they're very rude. I do not recommend this at all stay away from hotel wiz!
Please don't ever use this company for any travel. I booked something online and then they charged my card more than the agreed price. Awful customer service and just an overall pain to deal with. Only use reputable companies. I'm sure all of their reviews that are good have to be fake
The site changed my date, I called right away and the lady told me that it was impossible for that to happen and there is nothing they can do! She said it is not refundable or changeable. Will NEVER use this site again. Booked through hotel directly so now have double paid!
Cheapest option up front, turned out to be the most expensive option when all was said and done.
The Entire Staff is extremely disrespectful. I was hung up on at least 10 times. They did all of this in front of Hotel Staff. It took me over 3 hours to check In because this company didn't pay the hotel. Don't do business with these people.
You need to remind your housekeepers to not unplug fridges when cleaning rooms or leaving rooms the fridge should always be plugged in so it is cold when the guest gets there... Fridge was room temperature actually warmer and full of water from I guess a defrost if you're housekeepers are going to defrost make sure to plug in after and clean up all water, beds were really really really squeaky and moved along the floor getting into them. The overall cleanliness of the room was excellent.

Not really a good experience.
Room if just ok. No view, no nothing but room alone But no service at all. No Wi-Fi. We've charge so much on parking 50 overnight and nothing at all but room. Be careful with the valet they will suck you up. Better self park. No freebies Not even free coffee and water and Ice compared to other hotel.
Good hotels and with higher start Rank has better service price or lower but had good service.

This is our Hotel Experience. First of all, hotel has a strange, unpleasant odor in the hallways and elevator. Our room was just ok.
There was a stink bug flying around the window in our room. The included breakfast is a scam. It's a paper bag in the front lobby, with a tiny muffin, and a fruit cocktail cup. Their Coffee is a disaster. The cream curdled. Never

I made reservations on Friday, with free cancellation till Sunday. We were traveling, so, when I realized we were not gonna be in that area, on the same day I made reservations, I started calling to cancel. NEVER got anyone on the phone. Called several times till 8 pm Saturday night. Finally emailed them and they said was too late to cancel, which, according to the cancellation policy, it was not. NEVER got a "live agent", just recordings, with no option to cancel, or email. First and only time to use them. We paying for a room we never used. They are horrible! Oh, they said I could get a letter from the hotel saying we didn't stay and maybe that would work, however, there was no phone number on their website to call them. Still trying to email hotel to see if can get letter to forward to them.no luck yet...DO NOT RECOMMEND

A premium room was booked and paid for in April. In June we got an email telling us that the premium room was not available and that we had been downgraded - same price, crappy room. A 15 minute long distance phone call to try to correct the situation proved to be pointless. They blamed the problem on the supplier. They actually told me I should have called the hotel and booked directly with them. Wow. Just wow.
Best price which turned out to be a sham.
Rented room for tenant who was displaced due to water leak. When he arrived at the motel, he was too frightened for his safety to even get out of his care and refused to check in. When I called the try to cancel the reservation, I was informed that it was no refundable. Under the circumstances, it ought to have been refunded. Terrible customer service of "too bad, so sad"
Price was the best but I certainly learned my lesson. I paid for four nights for nothing!
When we arrived at the hotel they didn't have our reservation - quite unnerving in a foreign country, after driving for 4 hours and exhausted. They told us they didn't have any rooms left. They eventually found a place for us, but it did not have the Eiffel Tower view, as was advertised on your site in both writing and picture. They said the site should not have advertised as such. I booked this room specifically for this once-in-a-lifetime view, and instead was looking at a building.
Worse experience of life. From check in to check out was not pleased with my purchase. At. Check in was told there was 100$ deposit and had run my card. Ok. Ran it 3 times. That's 300 deposit. In which won't be cleared is 4 7 business days. I'm out 300 for week. Ok. Was trying to tell him he charged my card 3 times but he said he's not listening and I can leave his establishment so I proceeded to get access to my room in which was not clean and given another room. Horrible horrible rooms mold in the bathroom cigarettes things on the tub cigarette holes in the bedspread... one outlet works. So about this time 11:00 12:00 I just go to bed. To wake up to the manager opening my door and hollering at me asking if my room was clean see what she knows he's the one that showed me to my room. At that moment decided to leave but it's not over they need me to call and give my credit card number back to him so they can run it for the deposit. Not happy

The front desk receptionist had a difficult time finding our reservation because they were not familiar with this site. Eventually they figured it out and everything worked out. Would use again but hope they sort out that type of issue with hotels for easier checkin—even though i showed them my confirmation email—it wasnt in their system.

False advertisement: after I made my hotel booking, part of the special offer disappeared. No comment from Hotelwiz ppl when I asked. They took the money quickly though. Will post my displeasure with Hotelwiz on social media so this hopefully doesn't happen to anyone else.
They initially offered a competitive price and free breakfast.
They advertise "free cancellation" directly on their homepage, but upon booking it is disclosed that cancellation depends upon the hotel's policy (and is many times non-refundable). They list prices that do not include resort fees, so whatever price you pay gets additional charges added on once you arrive at the hotel. And of course, since there is a non-flexible cancellation policy, there's no choice but to pay those fees or lose out on all of the money invested into your stay. What is written in the fine print as "optional incidental charges" made to seem like voluntary choices, such as room service, are actually non-negotiable. Any mention of that is either nonexistent, or hidden far down on the page

We had an unexpected trip come up for San Antonio. We found the Red Roof thru Hotelwiz. Hotelwiz was easy to operate & quick to help us find a room. The property itself, Red Roof, in San Antonio was basically unbearable. Bathroom was old, dirty and toilet never stopped running. Room was so out dated and minimal cleaning at best. Our room was on first floor in front of pool. Guess what? The pool doesn't close until 3:00 a.m. Security did go out to ask a dog to be removed since it barked up to 10:30 p.m. A family did not leave pool area until 2:00 a.m. With no sleep left at 7:00 a.m. which was not quick enough. Front desk women were very nice.

Booked a hotel in UK. Money removed from credit card. On arrival at hotel it had no record of the booking, and was full. Hotelwiz refused to refund, and their email responses are fatuous and don't address the factual issues.
How foolish of me to believe it could deliver, and was honest. Don't get taken in!
I stayed there one night after a very late airport arrival. My room was cold (but I could turn the heat on, no problem), the blanket was thin (I asked for and received a second crumpled up blanket), the floor was sticky, the curtains were grungy and not wide enough so light came through on either side, wallpaper was peeling a bit, no mirror light in bathroom, dirty food smears on bedside table. Worst of all, at 4am, the bathroom ceiling (over the tub) began leaking noisily.
No reason. Price. But it would do it direct through the hotel next time because I want a refund.
My room at the Super 8 in Louisville KY had a dirty bathroom with holes in the shower stall. Water continually shot out of handle and wall behind toilet was moldy. Window curtains had stains, floor beside bed was sticking up, wall had dark streaks, lamp shades had holed and linens were stained.
To say this is a sleazy hotel is being gracious. It was the worst experience as I felt dirty in the room.

Warning: stay away from HotelWiz's website for its bad business practice! First of all, how many people would see that their cancellation policy is based on Beijing's time, regardless of your destination? Secondly, they charge immediately, even if your booking is refundable and many months prior to your arrival at the hotel. I questioned this practice and received the following reply from their Customer Service: ",,, we can see that you choose a pre-paid reservation where the amount is charged immediately after the booking is made." This response is a complete fabrication, for which I challenged this company by sending it the following email 4 days ago: "No, I didn't choose a pre-paid reservation, what I chose was to book now. Booking now does not mean paying immediately. There was no option available for selecting to pay now or to pay later." Naturally, no reply because they have nothing to say in their defense.
The experience was okay for what I needed. I didn't appreciate the omission behind standard rooms not having a microwave and refrigerator. I was told that if I wanted a room with those "amenities" I would have to cancelled my reservation. I was also confused by the forced housekeeping service and the ultimatum of checking out if housekeeping is skipped or refused.
They appeared to be cheaper than other sites.
I flew to Orlando last weekend. When I got there, I found that the hotel I booked with HotelWiz had mysteriously received an email cancelling my reservation. When I called this agency, they claimed to have no idea what the hotel was talking about. I was stranded in Orlando and the agent, Braxton refused to take any responsibility for my stay. I asked them to book me another hotel. They did so, and said they would refund me within 3 business days. It has now been a week, and I haven't heard back from them.

I learned to be very careful with hotel sights. I feel like I got scammed by another company and now have two hotel reservations for same weekend. I tried to cancel this reservation but told no not refundable even though statement starts Free Cancellation. Confusing to me. I did get my confirmation info from your company though.

I made a booking and made an error with the dates. I called right away; waited for 2 hours no one picked up the call. I called back again later that day, an extremely rude individual without even hearing my situation told me she can't me. Although you have provided hotel confirmation number *******875, the hotel has no booking for that or under my name. I reached out to you 10 times over 8 hours span and was bounced around with to assistance or resolution from you. I sent you an email today asking you to make sure the hotel has my booking or cancel my reservation without any charges and so far I have not seen resolution from you.
