Very pleased with everything! Convenient location close to I-85 & COSTCO. 24 hour coffee in the lobby, professional staff, good hot breakfast, clean & comfortable beds. (Coffee could be better. It had an aftertaste that could've been caused by the water.)
Horrible and terrible Can't modify reservations at all even if you book early and someone from hotel wiz tried to request money from a different account of mine sayin it was for the hotel I don't even know how they got my other account information and they don't answer the customer service site just hangs up on you so you can't get into anybody and when you do, they're not very nice and they're very rude. I do not recommend this at all stay away from hotel wiz!
On May 19, I booked a hotel room through you for which I paid 569.38 euros. The same day I canceled this reservation and you only refunded me 4 days later the sum of 564.71 euros. Where did the difference go? Ok it's 4.67 euros but if you do that to all the customers, you must be rich! And it's not normal since you write "free cancellation"
Wiz did help me with a very short notice of booking a room the hotel was booked i mean like no rooms left. Somehow they found me a room and it took about two minutes to get the confirmation. Thanks Hotelwiz.,
They was my last hope
We did want the lowest cost for our stay in Santa Barbara, which is not cheap in the first place. Extended Stay was fine. You get a bed, AC/heating unit that works, and coffee and prepackaged muffins as the included breakfast. Bare bones for sure and good enough. There was residual smoke smell and a cockroach in the bathroom. Other guests were a bit loud later in the evening but did eventually quite down.
As I said, you get what you pay for.
Wanted minimal cost for the period we needed to be in the area.
I booked a reservation to extend a room approximately 1 hour before checkout that day. I felt this is fine because I had done the same thing the day before and there was no issue with the fun desk staff at the hotel. Today upon going to check in for the extra day that I would be in the room, The front desk person said we don't have it. It's not in our system yet. We can't check you in until it is sent from the third party travel site. Now my family and I are left standing with all of our luggage and in the lobby of this hotel waiting for I actually don't know why

Good value and best price of all the sites i researched. I would have liked to see information about the room (bed size, room size, etc) but was able to find it elsewhere…just annoying to need another site for the info.
They clearly advertise no hidden fees and "no surprises." After I paid for my booking, it said on the confirmation that the resort fees weren't included. I can't find that information in any of my receipts or other emails so I guess that fee will be a surprise when I check in. I have no idea how much it's going to be.

Pretty good.no refund or exchange policy on hotel booking. I booked for the wrong date and when I tried to correct it. I was told I must cancel order get a refund that is issued in 10 days. Then they tried to charge a lot for the hotel room cause I wanted to see if they can get me a discount and the rate was the same as the hotel
It hasn't even been two hours: I booked a hotel for my father to visit from out of town (one night) for two weeks from now. The pull down for check-in and check-out is still there. Somehow I clicked on an offer for the type of room that I wanted, and the reservation went in for this weekend instead. I called to try and move the reservation to the correct date, and was told that I cannot get a refund. First of all, I was not asking for a refund, just to change the date. The response continued to be, "you cannot get a refund." And then, the rep asked, " have you ever booked a hotel before?" That was an insult and was also condescending. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
The hotel fee was about $100 cheaper than anything else I could find so I worried it was a scam but the hotel confirmed they had my reservation and I had no issues once I got there. So happy to have found this site!

Loved the room and location. Everything was as expected. Really enjoyed. However, was very afraid of falling I. The tub during the shower. Needs more safety devices. Slid on the bottom of the tub. Nothing to hang onto on back wall and no step/seat to place a foot higher.

This hotel requests guests to pay a 100 deposit only by card. This amount is supposed to be back after the check out. In my case the check out was on Monday may 15,2023 but today is May 18 and they did not return the deposit
Because I “fell into the tramp” the website offered to me the best price but after register the information, they told me the price was changed (it means that now I was going to be more). I started over and it was the same (less price first and then when I was going to pay, the price raised)
The worst customer service ever! They were arguementative, wanted a cancelation confirmation from hotel but there was no such thing from hotel and they would not refund my money! Never again I will be letting people know about this company!

I got lucky this time. The Price I paid for a nice hotel The room is updated, clean, and has Lots of space. The Parking is $6. Few minor stuff: no refrigerator, the shower glass door keeps falling, the shower water does not have a lot of pressure and the sink only has hit water.
The price looked good but when it came time to check in, the hotel had not received the reservation so they room we had booked was already given to someone else. We ended up getting downgraded from a room with a king sized bed to a room with two full beds, however we still had to pay the same price as the nicer room.
It was the cheapest.
As soon as I checked in I left. It was dirty with stains on the sheets and the door to out room had a bolt lock that looked like it had been broken off. I left because i saw prostitutes people shooting up and somebody looking in the guests cars while we went to check our room. Besides that it was terribly dirty room.
The only reason was the price
I sent an email on the live agent hotel chat and no one returned my message nor called me back. I called the customer service number; I was on hold for 30 min and then the agent told me he only does flights and can't help me that I must call tomorrow.
This is the Best Looking Red Roof Inn I've ever stayed in. Also, my first time staying at a Red Roof Inn. I was on a tight budget when searching for hotels but this hotel was moderately upgraded & had an OPEN pool so for the price of $111.00 it worked out well!
The price listed was $85.00 $111.00 after tax.
The hotel I reserved told me when I arrived that it was $336 for my stay. Hotelwiz charged me $419.
I know service fees apply but that's a 25% increase. No flights etc. wow. The other sites have never charged that much! I called to ask about it and they told me that that's how it is. DON'T USE THIS SITE!
We had to book this last minute on our way to the area. This was a quick and easy process. When we got there the staff was very nice and accommodating. Our room was beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I wish we had more time to stay and will likely use them again in the future.

I needed an extra night hotel website for same room was $46 more. Prompt booking received a fraud alert from my bank (little nervous) but confirmed purchase. No issues at checkin. Very pleased with the extra search to save a few dollaes
Tried to get in contact with customer support and was hushed while trying to explain a mistake i made to them. Man on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. I understand it's a stressful job constantly talking to dissatisfied customers so i kept my cool and just tried to have a grown up conversation.The man lost his temper on me fairly quickly from the time i called to the end of the conversation lasting about 2 minutes. At that point i couldn't take it any more and hung up after i asked a question he paused from rambling on and then replied saying "that was your question? What do you think?" extremely unprofessional and just plain disrespectful. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

The hotel did charge me an extra $5.85 without any rational reasoning. "Because we have to do that with this third party" isn't a really good reason. The manager then complained and said they were going to unlist from all third parties. None of that is any of my business, but I shouldn't have to pay extra for his troubles. It's only $5.85, so I don't care much, but otherwise the experience would be 5 stars.
