I loved this site! It made my apartment search so easy! You enter in what you are looking for and it populates all available listings on a map and makes it so easy to just click around and compare everything. The listings are very detailed in what amenities it has, location, and price. Unlike craigslist that sometimes requires a lot sifting and searching and back and forth inquiries. I actually found an apartment through this site because the unit was not listed on craigstlist! Just becareful of scammers that post fake listings and be sure to report them as fraud if you see them.
Posted pictures of a home that was not real, only the outside was legit. Asked for government ID and personal information. I spoke with the real home owner and is reporting them.
Id like to know just how much the owners are charging compared to the amount added that Hot Pads and Zillow are getting because I'm here to tell you this is a history in the making NEVER in mt life has it costed this much to rent a damn apartment from Panama City to Pensacola and increased at least 200.00 each since last week! But the wages have not increased what's going on here? Anyone know id sure like to! Maybe the Governor will know?
I like hot pads but it tells you a rental house is available when it's not. Always the same rentals on hot pads to. Please fix this problem for the people are trying to find a place for rent. This don't make it easy.
Didn't mind at first, but when I call, no rental agency is calling back. Tried filling out the forms on line, still no success. What am I doing wrong!
I wanted to do a review on this property because I had the pleasure of touring last week with Jesus.
I was quite surprised with how nice the staff was to me, it felt genuine.
I had experienced really poor customer service from a property in La Jolla an hour prior to visiting Domain in Kearney Mesa
Prior to visiting Domain I went online to schedule a tour in La Jolla with a property I rather not mention here and when I arrived to the community manager stated she was not aware of my scheduled tour and she was on her way out to lunch.
She locked the doors to the office and left me standing outside.
I will be renting a 1 bedroom 1 bath next year with Domain
Thank you leasing staff at Domain for making me feel better about coming to tour and reminding me that GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE still exists in Kearney Mesa!..
I live in Brooklyn and as if finding an apartment at a reasonable cost isn't tiring enough. I believe this website and all the other sites need revamping for NYC renters. It's utterly ridiculous how many bait&switch listings are out there and a bunch of fake listings that offer only a single blurry ugly grainy picture of the unit's kitchen taken with an iPhone 4 or a Blackberry.
If it's NO FEE, then it should be no-fee. You can't tell potential renters that there's a broker fee if it's listed as no fee. On top of that, there's never proper square footage details nor any specific restrictions noted like no smoking or no pets. If you inquiry about these details, the broker would rather waste your time to tell you to call them rather simply responded YES or NO. Why? So they can bait you into another apartment because the current one isn't available. Also, it's illegal to discriminate against someone's income and illegal to discriminate against section 8 vouchers. Why are landlords/brokers allowed to post such descriptions and not get flagged?
Why hasn't HotPads reviewed any of these listings and push listings to be more detailed rather than 80% of the fake bait-and-switch garbage out there? Oh and lastly, if a W2 and income proof is necessary, SAY SO. Denying people of rent saying cash only jobs or 1099s are not allowed after someone wasted their time contacting you is freaking absurd.
It seems very strange that I have not had one response to my listing on HotPads in over a month?
It states it is a good ad, but obviously it is not an effective way to list a property for rent.

This site shows my home as being on the market and it is NOT. We have never rented this place out and we never have listed it even for sale. Beware this site.
All these people on here complaining about the "service" they received on HotPads: NEWS FLASH, they don't post the properties for sale or rent, someone off site (realtor, property owner or manager, etc. does) IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE A CALL BACK OR E-MAIL RESPONSE, IT'S NOT HOTPADS FAULT. If your property is listed for sale or rent without your knowledge, it's a scammer, NOT HOTPADS who listed it. If you don't want e-mails don't sign up for them. Talk about stupid, ignorant people. SMH.
First of all, Hot Pads needs to do background checks and property reports before they let a landlord or owner list on their website. I'm specifically talking about 1695 Bull Run Southwest Lilburn Georgia which is uninhabitable property! I leased from Aug 2019-Aug 2020. Horrible living conditions thus the crawl space is full of mildew mold. Which is a direct effect on your health because it comes through the heating and air system into the dwelling. And the owner refuses to fix it. It will make you very sick. The heating and air does not work properly it has Not been totally renovated like the owner says. It's been upgraded don't let her fool you! I lived there for a year I know, and the backyard is full of copperheads there are code violations which have not been corrected. Gwinnett County cited the owner she has not completed the list of code violations. The laundry room floods the crawl space floods into the carport from runoff from the house next door the railings are loose on the entire back deck. And she is a total horrible landlord she enters the property without permission there's six police reports on the owner of this property the owner put it back on the market. Beware of this property. This property is a hazard and dangerous.
You have manipulated your website to hide the done button. Instead it shows reset search. Never using your site again. What a scam

What Hot Pads is able to do, where those other large rental agencies, fail... HOT PADS consistently, first to inform if rental has been, rented. That one piece of info, most important, in my opinion. If you're seriously looking, HOT PADS squeezes the most pertinent info concerning, rental.

Started receiving spam mails from them, so I unsubscribed to everything on their site. I immediately started receiving MORE emails.

Why write "NO APPLICATIONS FEES" and then when I get contact by the realtor says "WE DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HOTPADS" LAME.
