First off, HULU if you're going to charge for services, there shouldn't be commercials. I can watch the shows on regular tv if I want that. Also don't up your prices to take the commercials out. Since that happened the commercials have come on more frequently and now up to 5 instead of 2 or 3 when HULU first came out. I plan on discontinuing my membership. I can record my shows and fast forward through the commercials if I want. Also some of the shows have partial seasons and sometimes not every season for the show. What am I paying for, because now it's not the convenience.
Hulu gives you a trial period of Live channels based upon your zip code. However, after a month they switch you to a different city with less channels and drops the ABC network. Their explanation is that the address of my internet provider is in that other city (where I don't live) and that there is nothing they can do about it. There is zero reason to have Hulu Live when I can't even watch a major network on it when the much cheaper Hulu allows me to see the show the next day.
Hulu is alright. The constand commercial breaks do get old. If I pause it and go back to my show, only SOMETIMES it will resume at my exact spot I left at. And there are plenty of times where the screen just pauses so that it can buffer. Get your $#*! together Hulu - never experienced these issues with Netflix.
I was set to cancel Hulu. I was offered 1 free month plus $1.99 a month thereafter. After the free month ended, my rate shot up to $5.99. Much of Hulu's content I'm already getting on Amazon Prime. I'm canceling Hulu! Oh, and customer service is terrible!
If you don't mind trying to depend on Hulu and finding the sorry temporarily unavailable message about 50% of the time it's great! If you don't mind paying an exorbitant amount for no ads and still have to suffer thru a lot of exceptions - Hulu is the one for you! If you don't mind buffering issues and troubles with the app - go for it. Me? For the amount they charge me, and they don't have my local channels although they enticed me with offers of them ( they broadcast Chattanooga instead of Knoxville and will not respond or fix) I am going to get four times the service for what I pay for this with half or less the frustration!
Hulu support is unable to do just about everything, unless it's related to passwords. Purchasing a gift card to prepay went automatically toward a plan I didn't select. I was then unable to change the plan, why?, I'll never know. The support team didn't even understand why that was happening. If support can't help, who really can? I can't even pause my account because of the prepayment. I am allowed to cancel my account, but they still get all the money. I can't stand this streaming service. I've only had it for 1 year after the Black Friday special, and now I'm regretting applying a $50 gift card for which they basically stole and aren't allowing me to use how I choose.
I have Hulu movies package. To tell you the truth I got Hulu special offer doing the holidays which offers a $1.00 for a year and the movies they have on there sucks. I barely watch the dam thing. I'm checking out Amazon free movies they show better 100 percent movies than Hulu and Netflix is better than Hulu. The only thing wrong with Netflix is you have the same movie, you barely get updates. So over all Hulu really sucks with selection of movies they show. I don't even watch the dam thing Hope they get better. Hulu try showing some of the movies prime video show, and you would great.

I have tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. Everyday I have to log in again. Everytime I try to, it tells me it's not the correct email or password. It's the same one we have used since we got it. Trying to log in through Facebook is just as bad. You want to charge us for your crappy "service"? I'll tell everyone forever, to just stick with Netflix. HULU IS HORRIBLE!
I have hulu. Netflix and CBS. And by far hulu sucks... it can't figure out how to load and stream more than one episode constantly claims to retrieving. But never does. Wish I could find competition to switch to. Hate hulu
This is the second time HULU has billed my credit card when no service is owned. The first time, they charged me for the free preview. This time I was away from home with a sick relative and they charged my card when my account was on hold. They have be impossible to contact so I am forced to cancel a service I enjoyed when home because of credit card misuse. I tried to call and stayed on hold for 45 minutes without service. They have a call back service that hasn't called back. There chat also did not work. What good are they without customer service?
Ads before the show or movie would even be better, though no ads (especially when advertising the fact that paying extra will result in no ads) would be best. Yet, it is known that ads or annoying little pop up info will make it's way in, one way or another. The fact that ads are all throughout every single episode of every single piece of content on the ridiculous, and rather bleek, set up of the app itself. Seems rather stupid. I couldn't tell you a single ad that's shown because it ruins the show that it interrupts, entirely. Not to mention, nearly every time an ad comes up, it freezes and causes issues. Sure, I'm not the most patient but I'd rather live without Hulu than with this ridiculous ad-run excuse for a streaming service.
I use to watch hulu nearly every day and had several show and movies on there. But then hulu changed there user interface and it removed my entire list of shows and movies I had on there and even deleted most of them off of hulu completely so I can't even make a new list. The new interface is hard to use and frustrating to use. I have just cancelled my subscription and will not be signing up again unless they change it back or make it close to what it was before. I would not recommend hulu to anyone anymore.

If I'm paying a monthly fee for their service, I believe the commercials should be at a far greater minimum than they are. My daughter and I are trying to watch the Prince Harry and Meghan story, and the amount of commercials in it is a crazy amount. But they want to make more money, I get that. What I can't forgive is when they cut to the damn things in the very middle of sentences! Their a major frican streaming service, you would think they'd learn proper timing! My 14 year old son who makes movies could do a better job! This is why I don't watch movies on Hulu.
Every time I log on, it's an uphill battle to resume. I want to watch a series. It's starts with commercials, wrong episode, go back, try again, more commercials, wrong episode, go back, more commercials. I can't find any links to any directory. They don't keep a record of my choices like Netflix ( they're good) does, they don't provide a "next episode", it's more like a jig saw puzzle trying to use their site. And no customer service online. What a bunch of Turkeys.
Hulu has been charging me for service for the past 2 years without honoring my cancellation. They recognized I had not used it for 2 years but did not acknowledge my cancellation and would only offer 3 month credit. It was a terrible service for streaming and was not worth the price to begin with and now I am out about $150 for their mistake! Do not subscribe unless you want a bad experience. I HAVE to give them 1 star to submit but they deserve a zero star rating!
Hulu has the worst service ever. I can't get through one movie without it stopping and restarting a 1000 times. I wouldn't waste my time on this service. I called customer service and they didn't seem to really want to help with the problem. This is by far the worst most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with.
