I wrote a negative review a while ago but they have made huge strides. And they've been renamed (merger? Acquisition?) as "Centerwell" which has so far been flawless. I'm going to give them five stars this time because of the excellent communications they are now doing.
On line I requested a rx transfer to centerwell. They sent an email stating a call. No call. Took me 4 calls, several people and at least an hour to finally get a response and person from pharmacy to rectify.
We've been very pleased with
Humana Rx and otc delivery!
There is no charge to us and the delivery comes on time.

While ordering my monthly over the counter items, when I got to the multi-vitamins called Sentry Senior, which I usually get, the description said 60 tablets, but the photo shown that day clearly showed 265 tablets. I called to speak with a rep, who said he'd pass on the info. This is clearly an error, and the two were not proof read. Today, over a month later, I received a call, the girl apologized, but said that they 'could not' make it good and send me a couple more bottles. She would/could not give me a legitimate reason why. It's not that they could not satisfy the customer, it's that they would not satisfy the customer. Bad way to handle this, as it would not be any big deal to send me a couple more bottles, and then make sure the photo and description match. Simple. Not happy. This photo is from today, a month later and it's STILL INCORRECT.
Tip for consumers:
Although there are reps with whom you can speak, they are not helpful in any resolution to make the customer happy. And they will not give you a reason why they 'cannot' do that. In my opinion, that is NOT customer service.

I could write a book chapter as to the incompetence. I repeatedly tell them don't send refill unless requested. They don't listen. Trying to have a conversation with their staff is a joke. There is absolutely no one in. Charge and worse no one cares. Tragic incompetentce

Humana had previously approved for me to take a non-opioid medication for nerve pain for 7 years and recently denied the medication because it is cheaper for them to put me on opioid medication. They take all power away from the doctors and trample patients rights. Most years they try to kill me off by denying coverage of my asthma medication that I need to breathe, this year I think they hope I will be in enough pain that I will just kill myself, not joking! Buyer beware! Customer service is not helpful, they apologize for not approving your medication and think you believe them, they will also hang up on you when you ask to speak with someone who can help you get your medications approved. I know all insurance is out to make profits but you can't honestly have a prescription insurance company and expect to be able to deny coverage of medications that people need, that is obviously a company out to make money off of people's suffering!
I was getting prescriptions ok some difficulty. However, they decided that a patient cannot be treated for pain (tramadol) and depression at the same time so they refused to fill my MD Rx for anxiety. They have made my life hell.
Tip for consumers:
My MD called, and sent 2 authorizations. The Rx clearly stated what the Rx was for.

Ordered a refill on 3-9-22 and still haven't received it. They show that it shipped on 3-14-22, but it didn't. No tracking available. Told me on April 18 that they would expedite a shipment and I would have it in 3 days. Now they are saying that I won't get it until May 3. I have not had this medicine since April 10 and I am never supposed to run out of it. Their customer service sucks. This is not the first time they've done this. Have your prescriptions processed locally, don't use Humana. They suck
I decided to give Humana pharmacy is try. I should not have. I placed an order 4 weeks ago. They claim it was only 1 week, not true. When I call to check on status, they tell me it will be delivered 7 to 10 days from the order date. The next day I get an email that the order is on hold.
They are awful and offer pathetic service.
Run away from Humana Pharmacy. I need 2 very important anti-rejection drugs for my liver transplant. Followed instruction to the letter. Puzzled why other previous scripts showed up but my most recent anti-rejection drugs did not. Gave it a couple days. Checked again. Still nothing in process. Alarmed now I called the Pharmacy. Long wait time and nothing resolved. My 2 most crucial drugs were never transferred. They just fell into a black hole. Several customer service reps couldn't help me. In fact suggested it was my fault. Nope! Less than zero is my star rating. Stick to any other place than this company to get your meds. It could mean your life!
If you want your meds delivered in a timely manner, then run away from humana mailorder as fast as you can. They will give you all kinds of excuses why the shipment was delayed. They typically take 2 weeks to process even the orders that are prepaid - so pathetic!
The first year was ok. This second year has been an absolute nightmare. Takes over 2 weeks to receive a prescription. I could die before I get my meds from these assclowns! Hey Humana, if all of your customers die you will be out of business! Just thought you might want to know, YOU need the customer, the customer can (and this one will) go elsewhere. You are not the only insurance company or pharmacy in this screwed up healthcare system!
I have wasted so many hours dealing with this operation - their non-functional website, obtuse messages about why your prescription could not be filled, reps who don't speak understandable English, etc. Came to a head today when I spent almost two hours attempting to find out why I had been sent a prescription I had not ordered. (It was their recommended substitute, despite the fact that it was making me sick, and my doctor had gotten approval for the original drug.) What's even worse, they had deleted the drug I needed from my drug list, and reinstituted their preferred alternative. (This was after I had managed to "archive" the drug after multiple annoying renewal phone reminders.) Someone should sue them.
Unreal. Slow and incompetent. Unbelievable. Telephone automatic updates not correct nor up-to-date. Automatic system says "unknown" on refills. Almost impossible to talk to a person. Had to call back several times and long wait times. Requested transfer of prescriptions was not acted on. My experiences with Humana Pharmacy always stress me out and give me headaches. During one call, a pharmacy tech told me to talk to new membership. New Membership was baffled as to why; transferred me back; and I had to wait for the pharmacy again.
They tell you your order has shipped when obviously it hasn't. Tracking is all over the place. NO package takes 3 weeks to get anywhere in this country. That is after the date stated it shipped. Certain it is sitting on a shelf somewhere. Will not sign up for another year. Covid has nothing to do with it, happened last order too.
There has never been one time when I could just call or write and get an answer. Now, I have a. New Rx. And it has been 2 weeks since my Dr. called it in and I still have to talk to someone somewhere? I am on hold for at least 1/2 an hour. It is unconscionable.
The new web page is horrible to navigate. My most recent frustration is that I can't track the prescription I have ordered. The only people at Human who give me accurate information are the pharacists. Any other information is not trust worthy. For instance the drug prices are absurd and no where near accurate. And now this survey is asking for proof a purchase before it will send. Where do I find that proof in a form that will fit in their damned box?

Various prescriptions. The most recent is Spiriva and I can't find out when it will get to me.
Like a lot of people my medication fell into the doughnut hole, several calls later they could not offer an alternative. At no point did I order the medication as all my calls were about not being able to afford it. Later that day I received an email thanking me for my order that prompted another call to make sure they were not sending me the medication, I was told no medication would be sent. Later that evening my wife told me 484.83 had been deducted from our debit account, that prompted another call from me to get it returned. Someone at Humana had stolen our money, deducting it without my permission, I did finally get the money returned. Elder abuse at its worse.
Tip for consumers:
don't chose Humana
Should you have an issue with the service provided by Humana Mail Order Pharmacy you may as well not waste your time or breath in an attempt to get resolution by calling a representative. The fact is every person one talks to about the issue will give a different answer. The majority of the time the people available to speak with can't convey a clear thought in English and "hold" is used in an attempt to get the callers to give up and hang up.The representatives never have the authority to make a decision and are speaking to some else for a decision which never works in favor of the customer. I have endured the mail order pharmacy for 5 years for insurance issues outside my control. If I was able to change my insurance provider and no longer use Humana an the pharmacy I certainly would.
I just transferred my coverage. 50% of the orders placed go unfilled. Customer service reps are as helpful as they can be. The system that is in place doesn't work. The website is poorly designed. They don't deserve to be in business.
The worst pharmacy experience ever and never answer phone. Everything is automated.
Last time I asked for help waited ovr 30 minutes for girl from India to call doctor. I had to hang up and she never called me back.
Four and one half hours on the phone to convince Humana that when an eye surgeon schedules cataract surgery a week apart and writes two separate prescriptions, both of which state no refills and specifically states right eye and left eye respectively means I have two eyes and the two separate sets of eye drops are required so as not to cross contaminate. Nope, Humana did not put two no refill Rxs in their system, they put only one Rx in their system with a refill in three weeks. What happened to the second prescription? Did Human violate the law by deliberately changing the Doctors orders? Does anyone know if I can register a complaint with the FDA? The weird part was that when I tried to explain to the agent who denied the second Rx for my other eye he seemed confused and replied Huh.
If you have a medication discount card they will still try to charge your credit card. Beware, after they charge your personal account it is almost impossible to get someone on the line to fix your issue. If and when you do speak with them they will make you wait forever and never resolve anything. It's a scam.
Ridiculous, The convenience has turned into a nightmare to get a prescription refilled it's been five days without my meds and don't know when I will get them I gave up my other prescription auto refill because they made it sound so easy well it's not do not waste your time or patience what a joke!
Humana pharmacy is poorly ran. The management is horrible they treat their employees like crap as well as their members. They force their employees to work mandatory overtime all week long and still complain about how they perform their tasks meanwhile they overwork them. Very unprofessional overall as a company and very rude.
A $1,200+ medication was prescribed in error by a medical clerk. When I tried to sign in to my account, I was locked out. After six calls for technical assistance, and countless attempts to sign in to an account that has been valid for 18 months, I am frustrated by the total lack of credibility by the service reps.
After 2 years of fighting with Humana Pharmacy I gave up trying. I would go on line and find 2 - 5 sites that were several times cheaper. Humana was always rude and never changed price. Last time found chestoral mess 6 times cheaper on 3 sites. I'm done.
