After a 3 month wait, Hydro Systems delivered a tub with 3 fatal defects; 1) the on/off button didn't work, 2) a component on the control module was missing (one or both of these first two defects made the tub motor inoperable) and 3) one of the pipe joints leaked. This was immediately reported to Hydro Systems and they immediately enforced their ironclad Contract for Returns. This Returns process puts Hydro Systems in complete control where they alone decide how to address the problem, and there are only two options - repair or replace, and they alone dictate how long it will take. In my case the Contract was enforced, without exception, even though they caused the problem, and I, the customer, was rendered helpless.
It was no surprise when Hydro Systems ruled the tub would be repaired and then it took 33 days to do so and during this delay here's what didn't happen:
There was zero proactive communication from Hydro Systems.
Notice of pick-up and delivery dates and times was inaccurate and incomplete ( it was just lucky I was home both times).
Zero Quality Control.
Not even an apology.
In the end, I paid full price for an "essentially refurbished" tub that was delivered more than one month behind schedule. With full, one-sided Contract protection, Hydro Systems never offered a "Good Will" gesture of any kind. Hydro Systems was at fault here and faced no consequence. If they put as much effort into upfront Quality Control and attention to Customer Service, they wouldn't need this type of draconian Contract.
