I ordered x4 quarts of Pettit paint for a boat project that I could not find any where else on-line (some sites had two or three of the colors I needed, but not all four). After I ordered them I found this review site and began to loose confidence after reading some of the reviews. Kudos to iBoats though - they came through! Four quarts of paint arrived three days after I ordered them and were exactly what I ordered. Can't say why any one else had any troubles but I am very pleased and wanted to share this for other's sake. Great job iBoats - five stars!

They have no telephone number and nobody has responded to me. It's been a week since i placed my order, i've emailed them everyday and I have not heard back from them nor have i received my order. The only thing have is a copy of my order number, which was the only thing I received when i initially placed the order. I'm about to cancel my credit card payment.

Order 2sets guages and they never sent my tracking number and stoled my money and never got my guages and now disputing my credit card!They are crooks!
While the reps I spoke to could not have been more polite and honestly gave me the impression they were knowledgeable about their products, I spent literally hours over days on hold and with reps that never resolved my problem. Promises of follow-ups were never kept and I finally ordered the missing part from my order elsewhere at my added expense to just get away from this order. It's a shame - they have good prices and a lot of good products, but I can't deal with this lack of service.

I am in the web development business and have seen some pretty bad ecommerce websites, but iBoats has a very good system. Additionally, they processed and shipped the order on time an delivery was as promised. Can't ask much more than that!
Ordered 2 items, showed as shipped in same shipment. Only 1 item delivered.
Customer Service completely non-responsive. Now a month later submitting 4th communication seeking resolution.
At this point seeking refund so I can do business elsewhere.
Ordered an "In Stock" propeller on 6/2/20, got a confirmation e-mail saying it would be shipped on 6/4/20, with an arrival date of 6/11/20. Checked the status on 6/8/20, and saw it had not shipped yet. Sent several e-mails, none were returned. Tried to call, got a worthless phone tree, no one answers. It's now 6/14/20, and the item still hasn't shipped, and my e-mails go unanswered. If I could get a live person I'd cancel the transaction. If you need your parts in a timely manner, DO NOT do business with this company.
We purchased a strainer that one of mechanics suggested for our boat that over $250 in August. Due to other parts being delayed from the boatyard our boat couldn't be hauled out until mid-October. Boat yard determined strainer was too large and did not even use. Sent email for return…unanswered. Had to send pictures in to iBoats and they are refusing return. In an age where shipping delays are everywhere you would think there would be grace. Won't be buying from them ever again.
I ordered something from their site. Got confirmation email but never a shipping email. They will not take a phone call for shipping issues, only emails to customer service. I have now written my second email and still no response. No way to cancel the order either. They take your money with no problem but then hold you hostage in hopes that some day you'll receive your order. Never buying from them again. I will be reporting to better business bureau as well. Hope this saves someone else the headache of dealing with them

iboats.com (not boats.net) has been my premier boat selling vehicle for over 15 years.
I have had some issues, with the site from time to time, but always the staff has tried tirelessly to fix any technical glitch that occurs, and their prices are the best in the business.
It is a user-friendly site, too.
I get good results or I would not still be spending my money with them month after month. They work hard to deliver a good product to dealers and I have never had a customer complain to me about using the site.
Loyal customer and will stay as long as I have a need to sell boats on line.
I should have come here first. I ordered dock stairs because they showed ships in 3 days. At 3 days I called to find out customer service goes to voicemail immediately. I emailed - someone will get back to you in 1-3 days. Called many more times with same results. Then I get an email my order is "processing" - wait 3 days. They obviously don't have the product in stock and I can't talk to anyone. I'll give it till the end of day and report it as credit card fraud.
Ordered 10 plastic inserts for square aluminum pontoon top. The parts cos was good at $35. I missed the calculated shipping cost to Canada at about $350 for a single packages shipped from New Jersey to Ontario, Canada. Also was hit with a brokerage fee if more than $50 at the boarder. That is a total of about $435 for ten small plastic parts weighing about a pound.
Bought the same thing at a marina for $32 total.
Tried to explain the shipping cost and they first offered a $25 gift certificate, then a manager forwarded an email saying they investigated the shipping fee of $350 and refunded me,$47.
Totally dissatisfied with iBoats can't recommend them for international purchases.
One of the worst forums for boaters out there. Run by a bunch of grumpy old guys. If you want a self proclaimed know-it-all (who knows less than you) giving you a worthless diatribe that doesn't nothing to answer you questions, then this is the place for you.
The moderator's are worthless and basically clueless too. One of the worst forums I've ever visited. After two days, I demanded they delete my profile.
October 6,2021 "iBoats" I ordered a Prop Yam SS V6 16 and when it arrived I tested it out, and it didn't work. I attempted to return this so-called "returnable" item, and the company said if it came out of the box and was in the water then it is used and they will not refund my money. And so I've lost $360.00 and iBoats has lost a customer… oh well. Anybody wanna buy a prop? - H. Thompson

Wow, I thought this company was decent but I was wrong. They sent me an incorrect item (bimini top) and I followed their instructions for the return. The problem is they only do returns and customer issues by email which they take 3-5 days to even contact you. So, my custom size/color top took 3 weeks to make and ship. They sent one that was incorrect. They are going to take 5 days just to respond. The CORRECT item will then take another 3 weeks to fabricate and ship. This is crazy that we'll be another MONTH down the road before I can get this resolved. No one to handle customer needs other than sales shows where this company's priorities are. Poor customer service = Crappy Company. BEWARE!
I will never send them money again. The customer service is nonexistent. I ordered on 2/26/22, it is now almost 3 weeks later and I can't get an update on the order. They won't return emails or phone calls. I have now started a charge back on my credit card.

Ordered from iboats a couple weeks ago. I've called and left voicemails numerous times as well as emailed. I've gotten NO REPLY at all! No product has shown up or shipped. Guess I'll have to dispute the charges with my CC.
They had a hard to find part at a decent price. Found out at after I placed order that the shipping was not 2-day (which I paid for) due to the fact of a delay on OEM parts. Was not made clear during the purchase process, but customer service was helpful. Would order from iboats.com again.
Returned brand new prop never opened and it's been two weeks after they received it and still no refund plus they will not return my emails? This place is a joke guess they next step is getting in touch with the BBB.

IBoats must have one-person handling the customer service department. I have been trying for almost two weeks to return a prop. The number listed does not allow for you to speak with a rep. Or leave a message. I've filled out numerous online request to be contacted by the company only to have zero communication from them. Needless to say, I will not be a returning customer!
Buyer beware! I ordered from iboats over a month ago. I've called as well as emailed numerous times and have not recieved a response, nor can they be reached by phone. I've gotten NO REPLY at all! No product has shown up and the tracking number they sent does not work. My only recourse at this point is to dispute through my bank and warn others, so they can avoid a similar experience.
I ended up ordering from another company and received my shipment in less than week.
Iboats is a broker and if you have an issue they tell you to contact the manufacturer thats IF you van get through to Iboats customer service, took me days. In addition I used there prop selector after entering all my engine information they sent wrong prop and hub... Returns are impossible. If you buy here stop payment immediately and then if item is correct undispute the charge. SCAM site be careful im still waiting for my return label which was never sent.
Although I experienced a few problems in the on-line ordering process over the weekend, I received the exact part needed exceptionally quickly. I ordered on a Sunday afternoon, and had my part early Tuesday afternoon with no expedited shipping required. I also received very quick response to my issues with the ordering process. A very good purchasing experience overall after an initial problem or two.
