“Pettit Topside Paint Purchase”

I ordered x4 quarts of Pettit paint for a boat project that I could not find any where else on-line (some sites had two or three of the colors I needed, but not all four). After I ordered them I found this review site and began to loose confidence after reading some of the reviews. Kudos to iBoats though - they came through! Four quarts of paint arrived three days after I ordered them and were exactly what I ordered. Can't say why any one else had any troubles but I am very pleased and wanted to share this for other's sake. Great job iBoats - five stars!

“Absolutely No Customer Service!”

Placed an order a week ago. Never received a confirmation email or a tracking number. Sent several emails to their *******@iboats.com email address and never received any responses. They have no telephone number and nobody has responded to me. It's been a week since i placed my order, i've emailed them everyday and I have not heard back from them nor have i received my order. The only thing have is a copy of my order number, which was the only thing I received when i initially placed the order. I'm about to cancel my credit card payment.

Paid extra for second day shipping and they don't process the order for over a week. So yeah, it will ship in two days, whenever they get off their lazy asses and put it in a box. Ordered April 28th and still hasn't shipped as of May 6. Item was listed "In Stock".

I ordered a Taylor Made boat cover for my 2004 Boston Whaler Sport 150 on August 16. Despite stating that it would be "made" in 14 days, the cover was not delivered until October 5. IBoats' front-end ordering system seems better for customization than that of Taylor Made's Amazon store. However, iBoats never communicated with me until the day before delivery to say that the order had shipped, despite numerous inquiries by me. If I were you, I would contact Taylor Made directly to see what they can do for you.

I ordered a skeg for my boat about a week before Memorial Day. I got a confirmation of the order a couple business days went by and no tracking number. I called and emailed, no response, next day still nothing, so I sent an email to cancel the order and I ordered the part from a different supplier luckily they get it to me and I was able to mount it before the holiday weekend. Still no word from iboats. Then I get an email with the tracking number, the tracking info shows I had contacted them in plenty of time long before the shipping label was printed. Now I'm stuck with a skeg and crickets regarding a RA #. They have disappointed me because I have used them before with success.

Keep up the great work Y'all. I am happy with the availability and the diverse selection of parts for my boat. So sick of paying the West Marine price brother. I always look for USPS shipping option. I prefer free but, those companies that do not offer USPS, they go bye-bye from my searches.

Never heard of iboats before but now that I have used it to find a pair of
Salomon's womens X Ultra 2 shoes, it was every bit as good as Amazon for ordering and delivery! I will definately use them again!

Great selection and prices! Website is well organized and user friendly. They did a great job of getting me the pontoon cleaner I ordered even with a last minute shipping change due the HAZMAT shipping restrictions. The cleaner could only ship Ground but it still arrived at the designated time. Great service! Will order other items from iBoats again.

Worst service anywhere.
Order 2 products on 5/15/20 now 6/8/20 still have not received 1 of them.
On one answers the phone and emails are not returned.
Company must have went out of business put they have not taken down the web site

Ordered a dock cart and received one that had obviously been returned and then shipped to me as a new one. Open bag for small parts was empty and parts loose in box. Two broken knurled knobs. Paint evidence that cart and been assembled and then taken apart. Dent in tubing of frame.
Pro: Customer service responded quickly and is trying to get new knobs.

IBoats acknowledged sending the wrong part. We installed it (not noticing or even being aware of the possibility of prop blades going the wrong direction) called to exchange the part and were told that we were SOL because it had been "used".

Three week wait for a quart of paint. Customer service response will tell you it will take at least three days before they will respond. When item was received it was damaged. I had to jump through all their hoops before they said that they would credit my visa card back for the purchase amount. That was on May 2nd 2022. Today is May 26... no charge back. The company will not respond to my emails concerning the matter. They are the worst.

Placed and received order in a timely manner but one item was what their parts diagram called for but was the wrong item. Sent email about problem and never heard anything ended up buying the correct part locally and was cheaper anyway.

We ordered 13" post for our lakesport seat mount. They sent a 15" post! Went we called customer service, they said they sent the right part saying they dont count the 2" that goes into the base of the boat! That we need to send it back at our expense and order an 11" post. REALLY! We ordered a 13 " post and they made a mistake, but wont admit to it. They must think we are stupid!

I've used this product on my aluminum trailer to keep it looking new and make my life easier. I also found that it works as a fiberglass waterline scum cleaner on my boat as well. While cleaning my trailer some over spray went on the boat's waterline and without scrubbing the yellow sum disappeared. I sprayed the rest of the boat and by the time i did one side, the other side was clean right to the gel coat.
I'd recommend this product to anyone who owns a boat.

Ordered a Stainless pipe to build a ladder. Thought I was buying an 8' polished stainless tube. However it came as a 6' tube unpolished and had writing all over it. It is about useless for my project.

I ordered a antenna for my plotter.And didn't get a response from them for 10 days.And when they did they lied and said it was on the way. Checked the tracking number and it wasn't even sent...Max continued to lie to me via email Slow Service and liar's

Tip for consumers:
These people are real slow to respond to a order.So if you're a professional and need something fast THESE (( people aren't for you)) but if you 3 weeks to wait ( most commercial fisherman don't)

It was very easy to find my part on iboats, and the price was much lower than anyone else. Once I placed my order I received it the next day. Job well done, I will come back to iboats for future orders.

Bought a Solas prop for my bass boat, it was delayed three days due to shipping problems unfortunately I missed a tournament this passed week end. The right prop arrived but the wrong thrush washer,( item description said it was needed for the prop), but upon opening the prop package a notice on the prop blade said to use the one on the motor or referenced a different number part. Oh well, bought a new Mercury one locally and I'm up and running. Will still buy from Iboats

Purchased from them previously so I receive their emails. Received emails twice for 55 percent off boat covers and tops. Follow the link and the prices are the exact same as they always are. Chatted with customer service and they said the sale prices is the price that comes up, there is no specific sale?

Ordered Lumitec Lights (great products) from iboats in 2021. Turns out, the lights were 6 years old at the time of purchase. Lumitec honored the 3 year warranty after they failed this week (4/2023). Brought the age of the product to the attention of iboats and they had no acceptable reply. I'll spend my money elsewhere with a more reputable company.

I ordered a steering cable and steering wheel 2 months ago. I received half of the order but not the other half. I have recieved no return phone calls, no return emails. I cant ever reach any one except a recording. Their service doesn't rate even 1 star.

Due to an unexpected equipment failure on our fishing boat we needed a replacement part fast before our next scheduled adventure. Ordered item at the beginning of the week and was delivered at the end of the week. Item was exactly as it was described. Installed and had a wonderful fishing adventure.

I almost never write negative reviews on companies but my experience with this company was so bad I'm doing so to warn anyone who might make the mistake of considering buying from iboats. Horrible customer service, they call me during the IRMA EVACUATION and tell me that I "must provide the transaction amount before end of the day or order will get canceled." I asked the rep to give me until the next day since I was rushing out of state but she wouldn't. I reordered it a week later and they give the same excuse even after I spoke with the bank and got everything straightened out. The customer service rep was extremely rude and not understanding at all. Company seems more concerned with upholding stringent policies than troubleshooting real customer issues and winning business. After the second experience I'm buying from another, better vendor that actually wants to make money. Would not recommend this company to anyone

This place says they accept returns, but when you call, they give you some BS that the shipping dept will call back within a couple days with return info, then you never get a call or email response or get to get someone on the phone. Seems like a very shady buisness

Bought and paid for item and shipping. Item did not show up on delivery date. Called customer service the day after the delivery date and was told I had to pay freight shipping and it would be ANOTHER $268.93 in addition to the shipping I already paid! The customer service rep I ordered from should have known this or asked. Now I have to pay the difference or cancel my order. By the way, the other companies that were having a sale on this item aren't any longer and the item is now more expensive. This is wrong and a bad way to do business. Will NOT recommend!

Recently purchased two Garelick High-Back Deck Chairs from iBOATS.com for our Parker 28' sport-fishing boat to kick back in while Cod fishing off Block Island and they are very sturdy when out at sea, and easily fold for storage. Unlike the big bulky deck chairs, these don't get in the way, are light to move as needed and stow in the cabin when at dock. Nice chairs!
