In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
I love shopping with Ibotta. Ibotta has helped me get cash back on grocery items many times. I shopped through the Ibotta website for Thanksgiving dinner items and got $15 back on my turkey. I can cash out to Paypal at Ibotta when I earn $20 cash back. It doesn't take long. So, try it out for your free Thanksgiving items! You too can get cash back on your Thanksgiving dinner and other items you purchase. I love Ibotta!
Not only do you get pennies for brands you've never heard of, trying to get cash back or a gift card is ridiculous. It took lots of communication to get my $20 and they gave me an Amazon gift card, which I didn't ask for. The number was not valid. The next time I tried to use it the message came up that it was already used. After emailing ibotta for was the 6th time they told me to contact Amazon. All those scanned receipts for a very long time didn't get me anything. I deleted the app.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t bother
Love this app just started using it and already gain$106 dollars. I really recommend this app don't be afraid I was scared at first but it proved me wrong I have told friends about it and some have downloaded it as well give it a try u won't be disappointed.
I just started this in November this year and I'm at $69.67. Nice especially since I don't use coupons anymore.
I only wish they had a bigger selection of the gift cards you can redeem your cash for, but you can opt for the cash to your PayPal or checking account.
This company is a complete joke and has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I spent weeks emailing back and forth with them about how my $20 welcome bonus was never received and they would not grant me the $20 still. Every time they emailed back I felt like I was talking to complete idiots, they never addressed my issue and kept beating around my questions.
At first they send you tons of free coupons and you think wow this is so neat. After a bit it dwindles to only a few items, then the rip off part, they quit paying you when you scan your coupons! All I can think is they make money from the manufacturer's off your purchases and have no problem keeping your earnings by not paying you... STAY AWAY
I really like to concept of Ibotta but just beware if you don't redeem something within so many months they begin to take your earnings way from you. They take About 3.50 a month for inactivity. They took about $35.00 from me before I even knew their policy.
When i am able to take a picture of my receipt and make sure everything is there the app is good. However, I shop weekly at a store that uses a membership card and it won't allow me to take a picture and make sure all items are included. Every single time items are left off so I don't get compensated for them. No one ever responds to my messages.
All you do is look in the app for the deals, go shopping like we all have to do anyway, scan your receipt and you get money back! I have saved up enough money in this app this past year that I can buy a new laptop and a printer! So awesome

I absolutely love, love, love Ibotta! I've been using it for a year and have cashed out over $300.00. I love the bonuses they add because it really helps to get up to the 20.00 very quickly. Just this past week I've already cashed out over $40.00 and an extra 10.00 for referring a friend. Thank you Ibotta!

I was hesitant when a friend initially told me about Ibotta - until she showed me the money I could get back from my receipts. She walked me through the process; how to take pictures of my receipts and then how I could actually get my rewards and even bonus's! I love looking through all the products in the evening and making out my grocery list! Another feature I love is that I can scan the QR codes for products to make sure I'll get rewards before I purchase. I have since referred friends and relatives who were initially also skeptical but now we are all addicted! DO IT!
Amazing customer service, even when I've made a mistake, never have they made me feel as if I'm a nincompoop! Endless products and stores, easy to maneuver and instant payout over $20. I just hit $2500 club. Ibotta sure helped stretch the dollar this year. Forever grateful.
Tip for consumers:
Make a list and compare store prices. Don't be afraid to print or clip coupons. Use with online coupons at your favorite stores. Making a list before shopping helps avoid standing in isle scrolling through offers.

If you refund an item that was redeemed you should submit a ticket, (its just like this info box) with description of item and that you returned. It will be deducted from your cash balance. It happens...
Grocery shopping seems ok. You will collect cents and a couple dollars. Online shopping with big credit won't track. They will have reasons that the purchase didn't meet criteria or not tracked. Don't expect to get big cashback eg. $40, $50 -- all lies! Customer service took FOREVER. Then you got news that sorry... no credits. Ibotta sucks!
Such a waste of time. You'll end up purchasing crap you may not have otherwise- then try and submit receipt and they reject it. Happened 3x before I said screw this nonsense. It would take years to ever reach $20 payout when they reject half the time. Trust me, spend your time doing things that are less frustrating- like threading a needle while blindfolded
Ibotta is a huge waste of time. I'd rate their customer service if it existed but it's impossible to get any response from an actual person. Barcodes never scan or are readable, and when they actually do…. The item comes up missing the next day. Huge waste, I have found way better apps that actually work.
This is a great way to make extra cash. The app is easy to use and gives cash back on everyday products. When customer service is needed they are quick, courteous and fair. I love ibotta. Thank you
Oh yeah after reading these reviews I can't believe it. I've never been locked out and I've always gotten quick responses. But I am always nice kind and respectful knowing that its not there fault its all computers till there's a problem. And it pays real money which is more than I can say about alot of other site/apps. Good job ibotta!
Tip for consumers:
I wouldn't link my account with the other walk in stores because its really hard to keep up with which receipts are what. But other than that its awesome!

I do almost all of my shopping on Amazon, except for groceries.
Ibotta used to give me cash back on every purchase that I made. I made 6 purchases about 2 months ago worth almost $800. I never received a single penny back from Ibotta. I stopped using them as it is no longer worth it.
Not getting proper credit for items that meet all the requirements. Email them and it's been almost 2 weeks with no real reaponse. Now the offers are I'm guessing void which I'm assuming is their plan. I also have been needing to verify so many things with the box or label bar code if the container hasn't been thrown out yet because I don't scan receipts after every grocery trip. To cut down on time I try and scan all at once- one-two times/week. It's such a great idea but I feel the only entity's making money is IBOTTA! Please note I have earned over 100$ in the last year but it's time consuming and I'm not so sure it's worth the time... Oh yeah. I can't seem to withdraw my money either.
With the price of groceries these days, this app has been a great addition to the grocery store digital coupons. I only purchase what I would normally use/buy, unless it's a freebie, and i have earned over $20.00 in 3weeks. You can't go wrong
Been using Ibotta for a few years now and have generally had a great experience. Sure, sometimes there are glitches (with certain online shopping experiences), but my experience with grocery stores is very consistent, and I like that there's an interesting variety of products at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Target, Walmart, etc. that are often eligible (even as someone who generally sticks to low-carb/keto/paleo). Just get in a habit of scanning the app before a shopping experience and remembering to keep your receipt.
Tip for consumers:
Scan the app before going to a shop, add offers that might be relevant to you, and keep your receipts

I recently heard about Ibotta and thought this must be a scam. After doing some research turns out - it is legit and incredibly easy to use. Simply shop your favorite stores - check on the app of there are any offers, click, buy and share your receipt. It is that simple! And cash back is never a bad thing! Much easier than the traditional clipping coupons (which I do as well), whic I usually lose in the bottom of my purse during check out time.
This app has wonderful cash back offers! And the customer service is exceptionally helpful when technology decides to be finicky
Sounded too good to be true and it is. Have no way to redeem for items I purchased that are listed and barcodes match. Sent customer service numerous emails. They take days and weeks to respond. When the rep finally did, it was jus copied and pasted instructions which are on the site and I had already done. Cant get any help. Waste of time and a hassle. Deleting app
I was referred two years ago and got $10 for starting up and things were pretty nice. After a few months I noticed that some offers weren't accepted, even though they were clearly on my receipt and also matched the item criteria. Once you submit an offer, and it's not accepted, the item will disappear and not show up again. So I've been cheated out of many "Any brand" rebates, as well as name brand items. When this happens you also lose out on bonus offers due to having less items in a challenge, etc. Almost every month I have to write them with screenshots of offer "errors." In my photo you can see offers matched when submitted, but after only some matched. Sometimes they credit the errors, except for bonus offers. A few of my emails have never received a response. After I get my last minimum of $20 I'm closing my account because it takes over a week to get help and it's too time consuming to just get 25 cents or a dollar. They aren't honest and play tricks with the app. No thanks!
When I first got the app there were so many rebates on products I always buy and in a matter of two or three months I had earned $80. Easy to cash out for starbucks, Walmart and other gift cards or get the money. I had no problem with that. But after the initial three months all the products I was buying and getting good rebates on all disappeared. Now 6 months on Im only earning 25c or a little more on $200 grocery receipts. I think they pull you in somehow using your shopping habits then drop those products once they have you hooked. I cant be bothered anymore.
Get cash back every time you shop. Ibotta pays you real money on your everyday purchases. Download the free app to receive offers and earn real cash back in-store and online.
