In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
I have found Ibotta to be a very trustworthy savings program that actually pays me in cash to my bank account or pays me in gift cards--whichever way I prefer to be paid. I was using the Shopkick App over the last couple of years faithfully; however, I stopped doing this because I wasn't getting paid at all by Shopkick. I discovered that there are too many glitches in the system that doesn't read the cash register receipts correctly. Ibotta doesn't have that same problem at all it seems to me.
Great App good way to earn money on thing u buy i just have a hard time earning bc on the limit of items u have to buy to receive cash back on certain items but overall I love the app im still new so im still learning but great app

U have to but limited amounts of items to be able to earn money so u have to buy more than one of something most times to earn cash back

Ibotta only allows you to earn money on their terms. They either deactivate your acct. Or an error pops up when you try to redeem the cash you worked so hard for. And customer service just sends out bogus responses. There is no reconciliation. When they decide your done... Your done
They accused me of returning the items without giving any proof and refused to credit my account. I never returned any of the items i purchased. They also never replied to my messages and blocked me on facebook after my first post. Exact copy of my post THEY DELETED: "hI. Why is my account locked? And what do you mean the items have been returned? That is false. How did you get to that conclusion? I hope you credit me what I earned"
A very shady business. Stay away!
I find this app super easy to use and I've never had any issue with getting the rebate money I qualify for. You simply add the rebates prior to submitting your receipt and Ibotta does the rest. I've not had an issue so I can't speak to any customer service related things. I would recommend.

I love using Ibotta! It's the easiest rebate app I've found to use! There's always free items to try and a lot of the free items I would have never tried before but ended up really liking them and buying them again!
Keep saying my account had been taken care of about getting my money. Ask me do I have another account because whom ever had my number before me had an account under this number that I've had for 1 month.
The app is pretty good but the customer service is horrible! I've sent I don't know how many emails to customer service with a question and the answers have nothing to do with my questions! They need to have a phone number to speak with someone!

I used a gas cash back to get a walmart e gift card linked to Ibotta and Rakuten and got additional cash back on top of my free gift card. I will submit it to a receipt cash app and the final out come will be 52 free dollars for buying gas and $7.78 back on my free purchases. Thanks Ibotta! Keep it coming

Submitted a ticket. Received response within MINUTES on how to resolve my issue. Easy to follow instructions. ALOT easier than I expected!
I am gonna get red of this app, it used to be good. It never gives you credit for items purchased and then you have to open a ticket which I have one open right now and it's been 5 days and nobody has responded. Who has time for that!#
The last for times I have used this app to get a little extra money for diapers and other household items I needed (IBOTTA) has not allowed me to cash out my earning; that I have went out of my way to collect while grocery shopping; to my paypal(even after contacting customer service about it). Now it won't even allow me to cash out to a gift card. I have been waiting days for them to fix it and have heard nothing back at all! This app has gone down hill and I no longer recommend it to anyone.
Don't waste your time. This company is horrible. They do not pay you for any single rebates($30 and up). They do not have a phone number, instead they are contacted via email. Proof is requested over and over. They try to drag it out, until you just give up. They will add it to your account as I pending, but you will not get paid.
Only issue I've encountered is not ibottas fault, the stores just simply are not stocking enough of the items or not stocking the items at all that Ibotta is featuring many times. Perhaps there's a way to open communication between Ibotta and merchants like Walmart, dollar general, Walgreens etc... Thanks for offering families a way to save and be able to try more products!

I heard about Ibotta 11 years ago but never really get my mind around it until last year I lost my job and my friend introduced me to Ibotta world, oh boy oh boy what have I missed for the last 11 years since I start last year (2020)I was save my hard earn money over $1000. This is defiantly not a honest run business. Emailed them with my complaints nothing was done I sent receipt with my purchase over ten times with the items and my account was not credited everytime I get close to my 20 dollar reward and want to cash out there is a problem either they cant find items or money already on my account is gone mmissing I had 18.00 next time I check it's 16.00.
This is such a scam. Stay away this app. They offer great cash back but then beat around the bush for months and don't give anything. First it's not enough details, then it's not enough something else. Then 3 months later then say you just don't qualify.
This company is worthless. They offer rebates and it was working fine in the beginning however since they did the update on thier app for some reason it thinks you are duplicating receipts when you try to scan a receipt it doesn't allow you to select the items you purchased so when you try it again they say you are duplicating it. After all, contacted social media and they removed my posting, put in a ticket instead they deactivated my account. There is no way you can speak to someone at this company and address the issues with this app and or get your account resolved and Money refunded. Stay away and go to checkout 51 it's much better and less of a headache.
Worse company with customer service..
I tried to do a rebate and they said it wasn't allowed because of some BS reason. I bought TWO Glade candles, but since they're in a TWIN PACK, they won't accept them even though the barcode scan agrees with me that this IS the item. I'm getting my first rebate cash and leaving if I can even get it when I do have enough to leave as I see many reviews saying their rebate cash was stolen. I'll add screen shots soon. They had like at least 5 people commenting back to me on this one issue AND they were all saying the same thing so I know a good bit of it was bot work. Cheap a$$es, can't even come off of $2.00 and have way too many stupid rules. Also, they don't have nearly enough rebates nor brands. They have basically NO rebates for any really popular restaurants. There are like 10 restaurants on this and they mostly are rebates for alcohol only!

Don't bother....they don't have enough rebates nor companies to gain cash from and if you do try to cash out, I've heard that many times they will not give you the cash. I will reply on that when I do FINALLY get out of this wretched app.
