Earned $20. I could not redeem. Asked help desk, sent emails and nothing. Decided to give it one more try. Accumulated $25 (which is not easy) tried to cash in for Target and received error saying I already redeemed. After several days I was able to redeem Wal-Mart card. Took my balance down to $1.00 and never got my card. Put in a help request, email, and nothing. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. THEY NOW OWE ME ALMOST $50 AND I WILL PROBABLY NEVER GET!

Using the Ibotta app along with the store coupons has been a huge help for my family. With the cost of everything going up, it's great to still find some savings during this time.

I've received emails from Ibotta within minutes of my check out advising me to go back and claim offers.

If you're meticulous and a bit of a nerd, this is awesome. The dollars add up. Sometimes I have trouble with the app but they always respond and give me my credit after all when I ask for help.

At first it was a little hard, then it got better so far I have earn over 1000 dollars back! You have to use some of your time to pick your deals but it's definitely worth it!

I've had Ibotta for years and never found it to be very useful. In fact, it almost felt like I was begging for money. They provide coupons and discounts but they mostly apply to "name brand" products which are priced higher to begin with so you're not saving much. An example of a situation would be like going to Target and see how much less Target's generic brand costs versus the leading name brand. The generic brand costs less and is almost the same.

That's fine and that's my experience as a shopper, however, Ibotta sent me an email recently saying they will remove $3.99 every month if the service hasn't been used for 3 months. The problem with this is that if you don't always need the products they have coupons for, then you won't buy anything. If you don't buy anything, then you can't add more to the balance. You need a certain balance to withdraw from their platform too. To me, this is a bit unfair. While one could argue and say Ibotta has expenses to pay, keeping inactive users shouldn't even be that expensive compared to how much info customers have to share with them in order to get a few dollars back.

Overall, it's a decent app/website but the $3.99 deduction situation really deterred me and the fact that a lot of the coupons were for items that didn't apply to me.

I used Ibotta to order my Thanksgiving meal through Walmart pickup. It was so easy just to go and check off what was needed. I ended up getting $27.17 back. Awesome love it!

I submit receipt and for the last few times it always comes back that they can't find the offers on the receipt when clearly they are on the receipt

The rebates are nice, but I was about to throw my phone after some challenges with loading everything they need, and I am disappointed that they won't offer help via phone or chat.

Ibotta offers the same old items week after week. For those that shop at Sams, you can hang up getting a rebate. They don't offer anything Sams carry, yet they're apart of Ibotta.

I've been using Ibotta for several years, but recently it has gone way downhill. Too frequently I do not receive credit for offers, particularly on online shopping offers. Almost every time now, I have to contact support in order to get my credit. My last online purchase was completed according to the rules. I purchased it through the Ibotta app on my phone, took a screenshot for proof, and no other discounts, coupons, or offers were used. When I didn't receive credit within 7 days as promised, I contacted support and provided them with the screenshot of the order confirmation within the Ibotta app, and a copy of the order confirmation email showing proof of the purchase date, timestamp, and total. They responded by telling me that other discounts, coupons, or promotions were used on this purchase and so they will not give me the $10 credit I am due. I have received NO credits, discounts, or promotions for this purchase from anyone. I followed all the rules, but because their system doesn't work properly, I get nothing but excuses. What is the point of using Ibotta if they refuse to honor their offers? Seven years using this app, and I am DONE.

I contacted customer support after I did not receive cashback for an offer. First, they accused me of lying and then proceeded to harass me on a daily basis with messages of a mocking condescending nature. After asking them to cease contact and telling the I would be complaining to BBB, they continued to contact me and threatened to delete my account in retaliation and had multiple employees contact me after I blocked on of them. When I identified myself as a neurodivergent individual, the harassing contact increased in frequency causing me to suffer severe distress. I filed a second BBB complaint. These CS staff and horrible people and have targeted and threatened me for being neurodivergent. They are completely unprofessional and ablelist. Had I known that they would do this to me I would never have contacted CS.

I really enjoyed using the app until I decided to try their cash back extension. Around Thanksgiving time, I noticed two bonuses on my Ibotta for $10 and $5 back after spending $50 online via their app, extension, whatever. Had to get something at Ulta, so I downloaded the extension and was supposed to get 3% cash back as well. About two weeks later, noticed the bonuses and cash back never came through. No biggie, I could just e-mail them right? Not only would it take them at least a couple days to reply, but it felt like I was going through a never-ending loop. One person even wrongfully thought I was trying get in-store bonus from an online receipt. Had me send them the e-receipt like 3 times even though they could have just scroll back to see it? Almost a month after (no joke) placing the order, they explained in a snobby attitude that the bonuses cannot be combined with coupons (which is fine, my mistake). Then said as a "one time courtesy", they have given me the 3% cash back. Hmm.you mean the cash that I was supposed to receive anyway? Saw it on here that many people are actually having the same problem. Lesson learned. I will continue using the app but would NEVER make another online purchase through them again.

I enjoy earning cash back on my purchases! I have used this money to throw a surprise party for my husband. I also try new things that I normally would not buy. I also earn money on the gift cards that I purchase through the app. For example, I purchase a Bath and Body Works gift card through the app, shop through the app on the website, and use the same gift card to pay for my purchase and EARN MORE MONEY! I LOVE IT!

Ibotta is getting rich off people You fulfill all these offers and bonuses and when you get to cash out to paypal once you get $20 your account gets locked AND they have a $3.99 fee for account inactivity So that $20 you just earned for yourself Ibotta basically steals it by freezing your account and then uses it for the $3.99 inactivity fee because your account is frozen so of course there is gonna be no activity A REAL SCAM

Enjoy getting money back and venturing out to try new products without burning a hole in my wallet. The adventure of the hunt for savings has always been a goal of mine.

I love this app. I have already earned almost $400 in the last two months. It's very quick and easy and I recommend it to everybody who shops anywhere. Thank you Ibotta!

Calls itself a reward company but charges fees if your inactive. Difficult to use total sham of a company horrible customer service. Better alternatives out there!

Be careful with this App. I follow their rules and I had made over $643.00 by redeming my cash rewards and most from referring people. I had referred around 50 to 55 people and made so much in referrals that Ibotta didn't want to pay me some of my money. I was cashing every $100.00 so I get to cash $500 in total but my last $143 they refused to pay since they are cheater and don't want to pay the fair amount. I received an email saying "your account has been deactivated" for really no reason! Be aware. If you have money there cash out asap don't try to save up by jabing your money with them. Cash out soon. They are not truthful company. I will try to report them with BBB. They can't get away with this. I spend so many of my time explaining people and trying to sign them up and in the end they kept my earnings!

I have been using Ibotta app for awhile now, and overall since my use, I have received some good cash back and I am very satisfied. Haven't had a problem so far!
