In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
I started using the app a few months ago because I'm poor and trying to put myself through school, so every cent I can save is a win for me. I personally haven't had a problem with scanning my receipts and getting money back on my item purchases (I. E. a dollar back on soap) but the function where you can pay with Ibotta at restaurants/stores is a SCAM.
I went to go pay for my meal at Applebee's using the Ibotta percent back function, and Ibotta took my money from my debt card, but Ibotta didn't actually credit the restaurant with my purchase. I called the restaurant and the Applebee's manager was kind and showed me the transaction history, explaining that the Ibotta purchase never recorded on their end. The only purchase that recorded was the one I had to use with my physical debit card after the app failed. I contacted Ibotta explaining my issue, and they told me that "gift card sales are final and that I got my dollar cash back, so there was nothing they can do it about it," definitely do not use the cash back function at restaurants because it's a scam, lucky for me, I've kept my receipts, and have physical evidence showing that Applebee's never received the Ibotta payment, and that the app just took my money. Ibotta definitely won't be hearing the end of this.
Love that I earn money back on items I use every time I go shopping. Easy to use and there is always items in the app I need. Great way to save on your every day items. Love it.

Trying to scan and enter long receipts takes more time than it's worth. If your store is linked through their loyalty card it's fine. But Kroger is not linked and that's the store I shop at the most.
Great when doing the work. Getting help to get the money you earned is a joke. 3 days no response. Still waiting spent days to get enough cash back for PayPal.

I love ibotta. I shop- submit my receipt and usually within minutes cash is in my account that i can transfer to my bank and spend.
Ibotta makes shopping fun and profitable.

When you change phones you lose ALL you accumulated & you can not get back into your account, You have to start a new account, Their verification code system does NOT work, when you get a code & put it in they say Hum looks like you got the wrong code, Looks like they have all the INFO in your phone wonder who they are selling it to?
I just downloaded this app four days ago and I already have cash back. I suggest you download this app and then add items, go shopping, redeem the receipt, and get cash back.
If they dont give you credit immediately forget it. Even after you jump through all the hoops pictures scans receipts OVER and OVER and OVER dont expect help it will not happen I would have given no star but it is not available
Twice I have redeemed receipts. Twice I have only received cash back on two of three items. The amount of cash back is not a big deal, but the idea of not receiving it is bothersome
They will tell you it will take up to 75 days after completing trip and once the 75 days are up, they say oh we meant 100 days. Not sure I will ever see my cash back at this point.
Been with ibotta for a month, earned 25.50 when my phone broke so took over a phone my daughter had not knowing they had ibotta accounts on the phone so Ibotta chose to kick me off FORBIDDEN ME TO LOG ON NOW AND KEEPING MY MONEY!

I will likely delete this app trying to get up to the $20 required to get paid! It is ton of work and not worth my time.
On the surface Ibotta appears to be a savers Paradise but in all true honesty it is I don't Botta! It is more like a shoppers nightmare. Always some excuse for them not to pay. Items have to be scanned over and over again as do receipts. And sometimes it turns out it's not the right merchant (not on Ibotta's approved list) but it's the right product. And any receipt any item option does not cover ANY item or ANY receipt in reality.
I suspect they are mining consumers personal information and shopping habits and selling it to retailers.
In fact today at Walmart I saw an end cap with products and it featured the Ibotta logo!
Personally I am just about done shopping at Walmart as well. They have high prices, customers doing most of the work, and now they're going to be tied up with Ibotta.
Whatever sweetheart deal Ibotta has with Walmart is guaranteed not to be in favor of customers or employees.
Some stores don't allow scanning receipts and insist on linking accounts, don't like that. App can be slow at times and glitchy so you have to restart over and over

I contacted Ibotta over a week ago when I needed to change my phone number and email so I could cash out. Havent heard back from a person yet! They stole $27 from me. I filed w BBB. Lucky I didn't let my goal add up to over $100 bc I would sue them.it cost $30 to file lawsuit aginist them.im on EBT and disability they scammed my kids out of money for Xmas this yr.im not the only one I went on thier FB page a ton of ppl saying no response stole thier money. I wasted my money buying brand name when I could have just saved in the beginning shopping at adli.one lady even said her PayPal got hacked after using Ibotta. Dont waste ur time or money on this scamming app. They are commiting false advertising and coupon fraud. I like to check into how many times they have been sued.
