I love getting cash back on products I am buying, anyway

I loved Ibotta but the last few months I do not see any items that you use to give credit on. Why have you changed so much.?

I love saving money on things I'm already going to purchase, and trying out new things for reduced price.

Quick and easy. Basically free money. They have a bunch of free offers which is amazing. Love this site.

I get a kick out of sorting through. My receipts and submitting them. I can't wait getting the checks.

Customer service helpful, easy to use, lots of opportunity to save, quick response time, online and in store options.

I have started building some cash back and my referral got their cash. Let's see what happens moving forward

I couldn't be happier with an app that doesn't give you struggles. I love saving and having a choice!

Every time I have purchased anything online, such as local grocery delivery to my house, the purchases don't register. So I have had to email every time, and go back through all of my purchases to send screenshots of the ones with valid offers. And they used to give the money back without much complaints. But since I've had to do it more, probably 6-7 times by now, they have asked me to send actual photos of the purchased items, a pic from above, below, and the upc. I threw a bit of a fit about that, as I already spend sooo much time I don't have doing things I shouldn't have to do just to get the earnings. And they won't give me the offers if they have expired by the time the email gets to a person who will help me. They tell me I didn't have it selected at the time, and I try and explain it's just that the offer had expired, and I know I had it selected because I am OCD about following the rules VERY carefully by this point... They also won't give the bonuses sometimes, saying it is due to them manually giving points. But that is a lie because sometimes they WILL give me the bonus. I have asked them and they say the Walmart account is connected correctly, and if I make purchases in store all of the purchases register. I have tried all of the various troubleshooting steps, and no change.

Best response time. Gave positive correction to issue. Very helpful.

I attempted to use it on a particular product that required two products together to get the rebate (they call it a combo rebate). One item required a particular brand bottle of liquor, and to get the rebate, you also had to also buy a 2 liter bottle of "any" Soda.

I did so, but when I got home, I tried to scan the bar code on the Soda (a generic brand), and Ibotta would not take it. It did accept the liquor. I emailed Ibotta, and after I sent them the necessary information via email, they did approve the rebate. But that was time wasted.

Yesterday I found the same rebate in Ibotta on my phone. This time I decided to check that Ibotta would accept the product bar codes while I was still in the store. But when I scanned in the same liquor that was accepted by Ibotta before for the same rebate, IT REJECTED THE LIQUOR bar code this time. The app said it wasn't the right product.

Ibotta obviously has a quality problem. I've written them to explain the latest problem, and told them I would suspend using the app until the could tell me they have fixed their quality process.

It could be a good product if it didn't have these issues.

Very pleased with this app I love getting money back and saving money. If you haven't tried the app yet your loosing out.

It's always great to earn a few more bucks just by buying our everyday items at the store. I use it as much as I can and take full benefit from it

I really don't understand why so many people gave such a bad reviews! I love everything about this app! In just one mouth I saved $85.

No matter what you must shop…so take a few moments before or after and snap your items and receipt and collect the rewards. That easy!

Just started using this app, already made money off uploading 2 receipts! Quick way to make easy money!

I've been thrilled with this app since I signed upon June of this year. I earned my $20 new member reward, which was the hardest part this far since you really have to "learn as you go" unless you happen to have an Ibotta life coach nearby. I've accumulated over $200 since June and I'm still going strong! Please people, read... read all the exclusions and rules on how to get the cash back. You have to follow what it says and you will earn cash back. I feel like people don't want to put in the effort to read and expect to reap the rewards based on what is written in bold letters and numbers percentage you can get back on qualifying purchases.
I've been very satisfied with Ibotta's customer service. Their response time is within reason and they've always credited my account when an error occurs... hey, no system is perfect, but theirs comes very close to it.
I have no affiliation with Ibotta. I am not a robot. I am very happy to have discovered Ibotta and think all you haters should really learn to read. You must be doing something wrong. I shouldn't be telling you because all you have to do is READ, but I will say this... When you launch an online merchant through the Ibotta app, any items in your cart do NOT qualify, you must remove them from your cart first and re-add them through the Ibotta app itself and you can NOT apply any other promo codes to the order because you will NOT receive cash back. Cash back will be pending for at least 90 days and will only be released if the item was not returned.
Please people, make sure you're doing everything right before you point the finger and criticize something for not being legit when it seems to work fine for others... not to sound too harsh, but, most of the time people complain is due to user error.

So it's not the most intuitive interface and it's also a royal pain to have to select the offers BEFORE you shop... if you scan a receipt which has an offer on it but you haven't added it to yout list then you're out of luck. This should be inmproved.
Then there are bugs like "any dozen eggs" or "any bottle of whiskey" yeah - nevr works, my receipt yesterday had eggs (and I had the offer) and the receipt today had Bushmills... neither worked.

OK, so those are the bad points, here's the good. If you find an offer you want, add to your list then go buy it and scan the receipt (and in some cases the bar code) then it will work. I have received the $3 back on a bottle of wine (Campo Viejo for those interested) multiple times. So buying 3 bottles at a time at any liquor store, that $9 back can add up really quickly.
So far I have got over $100 back... and I was out of the country and not able to use the app for 4 months!
Most useful if you are a family with kids because diapers and paper goods are often in the offers, unfortunately a lot of the stuff I buy (with the exception of the wine) are not.
Hit and miss with the offers and really the step of: add to your list" should be improved (look at Fetch rewards app people) sbut it does work and transfers $ to your bank account swiftly.

This is one of those applications that at first they get you with good savings and then start stealing your cash, so it goes for 5 star review and I wish I could have a negative option to select and submit.

I have been using this App for a while and they give you cash but you also loose it right away. First, you start buying expensive products you never used to buy just because of some cent they give you as a reward. They trick you a lot and manipulate the products prices and it varies between users. They love you share the application with many people supposedly and pay both who share and who use it and make a rebate for first time, and that is not working anymore as it should, that faulty system ignore all that. It crashes EVERY day, I guess they are tracking you and if you do not submit the receipt right away you could get nothing when you got home because they remove those products you bought and were available at the time you were paying for it. By the way, it was confirmed they flag accounts if you buy and use it frequently (how come is that possible, they should be happy instead). It also makes you waste long time in the store trying to localize those specific items, i don't think it worth it to get a couple of dollars and spent 3 hours at store with the risk they steal your cash after.

They freeze receipt and play with the total # of rebates you should achieve increasing it from one day to another. Last thing that happened to me is they deactivate my account a couple of times and stole the cash I had available with a lame excuse saying I returned products, even though I sent back a picture with all the stuff I had collected at home... no response... help desk system is really bad, anyways they have the last word so there is nothing to claim. Funny, if you change your phone they might close your account too because you can't use a different device... crazy ah!. Is that the way to keep your users happy? I'm sorry, but won't use it ever again!

I've saved and earned so much money using Ibotta! It's a great app to help you save money on food and every day household items.

They are really bad about crediting for online purchases using their app... Have waited 7 months for a $21 credit and still don't have it.

You never get what you deserve. Extension? That's a joke. Big promo with walmart? Complicated and leaves you looking like an idiot at the checkout
