In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
Ibotta has very sneaky small print rules... Should you forget to use the app for a short period of time, they secretly deduct $3.99 from your account on an ongoing basis... which is linked to your bank account and without any notice.
I love Ibotta! I get cash back on things I would have purchased anyway. I have had a couple small glitzes which their care team resolved quickly and makes me happy.
An offer would not submit saying not valid on online purchase. I purchased in store. I sent screenshots and my receipt and explained the problem. They fixed it and paid me exactly what was due.

I have interfaced a few times with Ibotta. Most recent is getting my money from them. They assured me that they will have a program in place for getting my money.
Love everything. The only change I would like to see is when going through Ibotta to Walmart there is no way to check in and let them know you are coming to pickup your order.

I linked my Walmart account with Ibotta. Worst mistake ever. I miss out on 50% or more of my money back from Ibotta.

I help my senior citizen mom with her account because she is not good with technology. She doesn't really use it. We have the same first and last name and live at the same address. I was also trying to open one for my father. Instead of doing it on their computer or phone. I did it on mine since we were out shopping. Well, apparently you can't do that. Fine, I have tried explaining this over and over again. My mother and I have offered to send in IDs that we have the same address and name. We have asked for confirmation on how to proceed if we open accts on their own devices. We just keep getting robots sending us the terms for Ibotta. I get your terms. But, lets face it. Ibotta disciminates against disabled and elderly people that have a hard time getting to the store. They make it hard to use their system for pick up orders and delivery. But, when you are being upfront about the mistake and offering evidence to show how the mistake was made. No one wants to even take a look. Shame on Ibotta. I brought this up in the begininng of opening my acct since I have health issues also. But, ibotta doesn't care.
Tip for consumers:
I understand the information is in their terms. i here people promoting it all the time. How both husbands and wives will have an account. Or, how an influencer will help their loved ones with their account. I tried to do that. Did it on my own device instead of doing on my mother's. it locked both of our accounts. Both of us have written offered to send in our IDs. Ibotta robots don't care. Only robots answer back.

I tried to help with services for my mom on a seperate account for her. I opened on my device and my account got deactivated.
I really like it cause i get my savings right away and if am missing any offers that i missed checking it will let me know and it will add it. I appreciate that, cause every penny counts.

I saw the commercial and decided to try it.
I use ibotta regularly and shopped as I normally did. This one peticular store does the submitting of the receipt and offer so I expected the refund to show up in my account. They then sent an email saying I missed the cash offer to go onto the app and resubmit the offer, even though there is no way to the customer to submit the receipt. I then replied to the email to which they asked for a picture of the receipt, that they had already received and a picture of the offer. They denied to pay it saying:

Your purchase was made at a 3rd party retailer instead of Food Lion.
You may have used discounts or promotions not provided by Ibotta during your purchase.
Other discount apps or websites running in the background might have interfered with the Ibotta and retailer connection.
The Ibotta link may have expired before your purchase was completed.
None of these applied. They wouldn't give me a straight answer and stopped responding to my emails. Nice way to treat a long time customer.
UPDATE: They added the money to my account. Why didn't they do that in the first place?
I should have $3.00 from a chicken enchilada meal. I don't have the bar code anymore but it is on my receipt!

Most if the time I feel like it's hard to contact help without going through things that may not pertain to my situation.
I have earned a good amount of cash back, so I will continue to use.
Once I go thorough the form, that doesn’t always address my concern, the representatives usually solve the problem and are helpful.
Looking to save a few dollars and it has helped me do that.
