In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
I've been using Ibotta for 4 years now…I've even made it to the $1000 club, but listen…there is a few times where I did not get my earnings and I specifically bought things that I would not usually buy just to get those earnings…when reaching out to customer support it's no help at all. So at some point I just fall back because I start to feel played. I started back recently and even recommended the app to friends and family but I will not continue if I don't receive earnings from huge shopping trips. Oh and it's usually with food lion receipts. Walmart is usually the safest place because you can scan the bottom of the receipt, so they can't make any excuses.
I'm genuinely confused by the 1 star reviews. I've only been using the app for a month, so maybe they'll disappoint, but so far it's been great. I pick the good deals, and I've made $58 back on about $126 of purchases. It took a minute to scan my last one but ultimately worked. I've been able to withdraw all my money to my bank with no problem yet. I would suggest to anyone, just withdraw as soon as you reach the $20 threshold. I've used several other apps and this one to me has been the easiest and best for the amount of cash back you get.

I don't buy most of the products Ibotta offers so it was really tedious to accumulate the minimum cash out amount. When I tried to cash out it failed to pay anything. I had a lot going on at the time and stopped using the app. When prompted by an email months later that my account was being charged the $3.99, I had forgotten what happened and went on to collect some more points. Now, for the second time, Ibotta will not cash me out. Below is a screen shot of their shenanigans. All information was already entered, verified and accepted... Except when I checkout! I am changing the passwords to accounts I have connected to it in any way. (Paypal, email)
I will be getting my thrift on somewhere else.

The app that really does give you cash back! I've earned just under $60.00 by shopping at just one of the many stores they have on the app. You can shop in store or online, even grocery pickup and delivery and get cash back on items you buy while shopping. You can submit your receipt manually or link your payment method to Ibotta and it submits your receipt automatically. I have had an issue with the barcode scanner in the app (which could be an issue with my phone) but either way, Ibotta customer service took care of everything very quickly. Their customer service department contact info is easy to find, it's easy to reach someone and they respond right away!

I love this app so much. I use it every month I go shopping ( I usually shop once or twice a month) and it has saved me so much. I mean I'm in the $500 club and it's only been like 4 months since I've started using ibotta. So that should tell ya something. Thanks ibotta team for doing all you can to help my family save as much as we can in this time of crisis.
Tip for consumers:
Just try for the higher saving priced items. And go for quantity not quality. Try new foods. I've gone in a different direction with most of my foods because of this app.

Ibotta has been wonderful to be Partnered with. There have been a few bumps in the last Eight years sure, but the Customer Service has been Outstanding :) My extended family is over 50 individuals. I convinced half of them to sign up.
As of May 27,2023 I have made over $3,000 in Rebates. Not bad for buying groceries I would have bought anyway. My rebates have mostly come from Walmart, just imagine if I really shopped :)

Enjoy the Rebates for things you already use/do. Or try something new and pay yourself for doing it :):):)

I was not sure at first if Ibotta would work for me. After using it a few times I found it easy earn cash back.
A friend asked me to use Ibotta. She earned $10 by adding me as her friend. I think it is a good tool to earn cash back.

There are a few things about ibotta that drive me crazy, like the fact that if you don't have the item saved but it's on your scanned receipt they won't say hey look what you missed! Or the fact that getting my Walmart account to sync was quite a task. Other than that I Truly love the app the savings are worth the effort more often than not.

What a great way to earn an extra few dollars for doing relatively little. Just check through the items that have rebates, see which ones you will buy and activate them. Link your loyalty card, or scan receipt, and there's some extra cash back for you. I redeem mine in Amazon cards, and use them fir birthdays/Xmas or just for myself. I have recommended it to quite a few people.

I think Ibotta has a good system of simply allowing users to add items to their list and then earning a variety of cash back prices. If I am going to purchase items/products, why not get cash back right? Ibotta is a great way to earn money on the purchases you will buy anyway and if you are patient and allow your funds to grow those funds can be used as "petty cash" for whatever you like!
This is the best app I've ever seen where you can get money back on things that you buy everyday and within 1 year's time I have gotten over $255.00 added back to spend somewhere else. You would be a fool not to use it, everybody should be using it! I love my money, I hate giving it up to somebody else, it just helps me stretch my little bitty income that much further. Don't be a fool download it now!

You can use app online or in store or pickup, but please first, make sure check everything in app that you're going to buy! Groceries, save time make yourself a list! You can use for restaurant & food delivery, buy gift cards, clothing, health & beauty, specialty items, gas stations, travel, home, auto, coffee & tea, kids & baby items, pet supplies, sports, outdoors, magazine subscriptions, entertainment, electronics, toys & games!! Anything you could possibly need!
I like ibotta and saved over 30.00 (I am not able to take it out yet because it said I had to wait 48 hours), but it's difficult to navigate. I used it for the first time a day ago, it didn't get all my savings from the receipt and I had to manually add some. I'm not even sure how I did it. It can be very confusing. They really need to upgrade this app so it's more user friendly.

Really get to know the app, it can be very confusing. Also, after you scan your receipts make sure ibotta added all your savings, it missed some of mine and I had to add them manually, which is also confusing.

When I go through the available coupons, I see things I have not tried before, because of the cost. It inspires me to try out the new things.

I really enjoy using this app. I have had zero issues with their customer service. I've never had to escalate any issue had to the point of calling and speaking to an individual. Any and All grievances were addressed immediately and satisfactorily. The rewards are not limited to specific gift cards, you can link your bank account and have cash deposited. There is even a way to pay for your entire order, at some retailers, through the app. Choosing this option can give you a percentage back on the entire order not just individual items.

I downloaded the Ibotta app in late July 2017. I've earned almost $1400 since. A very easy to use or user friendly app. Hundreds of retailers to choose and info on how to get your favorite retailer added.

The reason why I would give Ibotta a 5-star rating is because I recently purchased a Two Good smoothie at Giant today, but I only got one smoothie, because I did not have time to purchase the second one, so I did not get that reward.
My customer service experience with Ibotta is a 5-star rating, because I want to contact them if I have any issues or questions, such as the wrong receipt or something.
The reason why I chose Ibotta is because not only does it allow me to see all of my offers and receipts, but it also allows me to watch videos from hidden products and scan receipts of my recent purchases, so that I can redeem these for gift cards like Walmart.
