I have used Ibotta for over 2 years. The rebates have declined so much that most only choices I can use are 10 cents. Then they forced an upgrade but your phone has to be version 12 or higher. I'm not buying a new phone to earn $. 10 a week! My stash of cash is lost to me now. "Customer Service" basically says Too Bad So Sad and will do nothing.

Ive gotten a decent amount in my cash back balance and now when i try to withdraw it says my account is locked. Conveniently customer support cant answer even given weeks. When the money hits your account that means that Ibotta got paid too... so if they can come up with a way to keep you from getting yours thats more for them.

I have earned over 100.00 of friend referral's.
Had some problems with system locking my account but put in ticket request and Ibotta has fixed Everytime.
So if your account is locked don't worry because Ibotta has fixed mine 2 times...

I started using Ibotta a few months ago. The process of submitting receipts is easy and they have the option of shopping through their site which makes getting your rebates even easier. Cashing out is hassle free. All I had to do was enter my PayPal email address.

Use this app almost every time I shop for weekly errands in addition to online shopping. The savings earned help pays for my weeks or more worth of groceries when budget gets tight.

I do wish the desktop version allows an extension page for Mac and not just PC web browsers.

If you and your spouse want to have your own accounts with ibotta, you MUST get divorced, get back maiden name, move to different addresses. Maybe (but not guarantee), your accounts will be considered as separate, otherwise "We reviewed your account and found more than one active account in our system associated with your information". No details, no proves. Only general words. Look at Better Business Bureau complains. Hundreds of "answered" (unsatisfied), few "resolved" ones. So, ibotta is a real garbage, liars and cheaters.

I love Ibotta! Just hit the $250 club! There are so many offers that end up being free,. Plus if you use it with the bonuses, like $10 Weekend Warrior, you make even more money! Never had an issue with items not crediting or anything. On my way to the $500 club!

I wish I would have been able to find out about IBOTTA sooner. I cannot believe how much savings in cash back I have received and just being a member in a short couple weeks. There's so many offers that are available. This is absolutely the best app for cash back on things that I regularly buy. And right now there is a Thanksgiving free dinner offer. I mean come on, who else has that? NO ONE! Drop what you're doing right now and go download IBOTTA!

I'am a heavy shopper as we are a family of 6, so i reached approx. $600 within months and now when i went to withdraw it, they say that the a/c has been debited and also locked! It was heart wrenching to say the least!
I tried reaching them via innumerable mails, but as others have said they don't revert back!
So IBOTTA why do you have a customer care?
Not an ethical company with a disgusting & pathetic behaviour! Will never trust this company anymore!

I've been using this service for a couple of years now. Originally it was only accessible on the website. They eventually made an app and made it to where you can add your Walmart log in. My problem with this is it doesn't pick up my Walmart orders and I've sent cs messages with my receipt each time it doesn't pick up the order and they want me to tell them what's in the app for me to get credited for the things on my receipt. It's like they don't know their own app. I've only been credited with one referral the whole time I've had this. It days you can cash out at $10 to gift cards but none of the ones I want are $10, they're all $20 minimum. Even PayPal is $20 minimum to cash out. The referral bonus was $10 but they have since lowered it to $5. I've been trying to log in on the app but it just sits there and wants to load for over 5 minutes. The website has just been going to a white screen for the last week when I try to log in.

Ibotta is a great all-in-one savings app, working at nearly every retailer, and includes savings on a ton of products. Unlike most of their competitors, you can withdraw your earnings for actual cash, not limited to select gift cards.

Takes too long to earn anything of significance. But when I finally did, someone was able to put in their email and PayPal account and drained my earnings. I've heard other stories like this. Ibotta was non responsive by their customer service. Paypal has safety measures that would make it easy to get the cash back but no one even responded when I reached out several times. Bad customer service with flawed security

I started small a few months ago with no problem, then I do a big shopping trip and get home to scan. I had almost $40 in credit but most of the items scanning were saying not valid item, well bull@#$% I contacted them and they said they could not read my receipt and only verified $16. Steal from me once I am all set!

I've been cashing in soon as I reach 20.00, now they are saying oops your phone number is not right. And if you don't remember the old one you don't get paid. Well I've cashed out the last few time with my current number but do know my old one and sent them that number too. Reading these posts only tells me I have a good chance of never receiving my 20.00. Will see and I will be back here to let everyone know. Knowing this company is from liberal Colorado, I'm not getting my hopes up to high. Lefties are very scandalous.

A couple of years ago it was great. Now, not so much. Walmart receipts don't work. If you're expecting a big return, you don't get it. Theres always ""a problem "". After shopping for Christmas dinner, I didn't get anything back on the trip I made sure I shopped, a d scan checked the items at the store. It wasn't the first time and it really upsets me. Oh but my. 35 from Aldis went on right away no problem there. Lol

Even when I use their app and follow their instructions to get money back, it never shows I did the shopping trip. Even when I provide all the information requested by them confirming the purchase day, time, amount, etc. they still find a way to say it's not valid or doesn't apply. They have done this twice to me and now I'm done with Ibotta for good. For their bonuses, these are not worth it, if all that applies to getting these is buying the higher price name brand products. Stick with Rakuten...they are much better and at least gives you the money that is earned from purchases. The next on my list after them would be Fetch.

Ibotta literally blew my mind the first day. We all have to shop for basic things like groceries, clothes, cleaning supplies. Ibotta gave me cash back the first day, and in an amount I could respect. Almost 10%. You add their offers and coupons to your list. So much of it is stuff you have to buy already and you can pay in any method of payment the retailer accepts. I spent $300 on food stamps and I got $27 back cash within 24 hours. I will never make a shopping trip for anything without checking Ibotta for offers. It's legit and authentic. Definitely worth the 10 minutes it took to sign up, link my pay pal account, and clip the cash back coupons, for my grocery purchase.

To be fair, I have $1,163.19 in earnings and another 111.18 pending.

I have cashed out close to $1050 through pay pal.

So why the poor rating. Because they suck!

I have sent in so many receipts that were good only to find out a day or so later, after I discarded the receipts, they didn't accept them. Sometimes there ap doesn't work right. I swear they hire stupid people who can't think even a little bit. They also screw you on big receipts. Of the $111 pending still some are a year old, and one is $36.00

I won't say it doesn't work but I can tell you it doesn't work very well often enough to send blood pressure up.

Skeptical at first, but tried it out during my couponing phase; Ibotta is not as hard as one would think. It's super easy to use, and even easier to redeem the money. I highly recommend Ibotta to anyone going through their "coupon phase"
