In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
I absolutely love Ibotta! It's an easy way to make money by scanning receipts of items already purchased in most stores. The customer service has been amazing! If an item wouldnt scan or was left off, I sent pics to the help center and they corrected the amount I was to receive almost instantly. I recommend this app to anyone that want to make a little pocket money.

I love being able to get cash back and earn rebates just for buying things I would buy anyway. But I recently discovered that if you redeem too many rebates at the same store your rebate % for that store will either be seriously cut back, restricted (requiring a minimum purchase amount), or taken away altogether. I only discovered this by comparing with a friend what rebates they had available at that time. So yeah enjoy your cash back while you can but if you get too much from any particular store be prepared for it to go away.
Used to be that you could get $25 for any item, within the last week it went from 25. To 20 now its a whopping $10 cents!
Unless you are rich and can afford to buy everything on the ibotta list of choices it will take months just to even cash out at the recommended $20
Thanks Ibotta I used to depend on that $20 every month but now its not worth space on my phone because you want to be cheap!
IBotta recently added Publix to their app to receive automatic credits from your purchases at the store. I did a lot of planning thru the app and it has been almost a week now and no credit. Their customer service is taking 4-7 days to return emails. Looks like they are going downhill fast with this app. A few years ago when I got the app it was helpful, but now it really takes my time and when no credits are issued for my valid purchases it makes me not want to use it.
I had trouble submitting a receipt. I wrote up a ticket for customer service to review the problem and they responded within minutes.
I joined a long time ago when this app first started. I ditched it but came back when my coworker told me about it. It's easier and far more user friendly, not to mention the deals are better. I highly recommend it!

The app does exactly what it says it does! Receipts=money(: It's like an emergency savings account. I just let mine continue to ad up until I'm either really low on funds or an unexpected expense comes up. I love it!
Tip for consumers:
Add receipts as soon as you get them, it's easy to forget about them if you don't. It's up to you how much money you get back so stay consistent.
The app is broken stick to your other means of making money, you will buy a bunch of crap and wait for days to get credited if your lucky. Customer service forget about it. Doesnt work on weekends, even though they have a weekend warrior bonus. Your going to have to email customer service almost every transaction, always right when your in a pinch and need that extra money. The app owner should be ashamed.
Tip for consumers:
Stick to other means of getting side cash, when your down and out this is when the app does not work. The owner should be ashamed , its poor people using this app.it does not work till the rich owners home from florida..

Horrible customer service.
I referred a friend, they used my code (I even got notification that my referral signed up!) she redeemed an offer (I saw the screenshot she sent of her Ibotta account), we did everything correctly and no promised referral bonus. For either of us.
I emailed customer service with all the details and got a copy/paste response of how to get a referral bonus, and I just messaged them that we had done all of that correctly. It's like they didn't even read my message.
Don't expect Ibotta to honor any referrals or other promises.

I have been using Ibotta for over 2 years.
5 times I have used Paypal to transfer the rewards I earned out of my account.
Oh no! NOT this time.
8 days ago I exceeded the $20 requirement so I went to transfer the money out.
Nope!
My Paypal was no longer linked.
I tried every sort of way to get it linked again, but it only caused my account to be locked.
It has been 8 days since I submitted a Help ticket and still no response.
Their system messed up, and I am sitting here without my money.
Day #9 Jan. 16,2019 ---
My account was unlocked.
I was told
"Our automated system flagged your account for review based on one of the following reasons: user data, shopping behavior, or account audits. We have completed the review and have restored full access to your account."
I still cannot link my Paypal account. Still getting error message about problem with email address. So, I transferred my money to Venmo.
No more Ibotta for me!
My first time using ibotta, and it sucks. It has been over a week, with multiple emails to their customer service and they still have not helped me in getting my cash to my bank account.
No real explanations. Im doing everything correctly.
I will eventually just be done with it and wont recommend to anybody.
I've been collecting extra cash back for about 3 years now, well so far I've collected over 1500. 00 cash back how sweet is that. My wife told me for the first year it was a waste of time, but after she got her first Amazon gift card for 350.00 she was like where did you get that from. If I can do it so can you.
You updated and now I don't get money back on some of my purchases. And the help center gives in clear directions
They give unclean advice. Someone got my money from the account I had before your so called improved update
I liked it at first but then someone messed with it and now it doesn’t work right for me. Some of my shopping accounts don’t get included

If I could give negative stars I would! It started off working well but recently well attempting to do online purchases using the app to the Amazon purchase they have not been providing the refund that I should have gotten. Opening tickets does not seem to get anywhere as they just sold the tickets and do you not address or research the issue. I have submitted all requested documents and information and yet I am still waiting for credits. A hotel credit that was supposed to come 75 days after the stay is still waiting for payment that should have arrived about a month ago. Even asking for their assistance does not resolve the problem. Get your money out while you can don't waste your time not worth it file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau!
Downloaded Ibotta. Bought all this unnecessary crap to get the new account bonuses they were offering. Went to cash out and it says my account is locked from withdrawing money. Scam and a waste of my time.
If you have not tried this "rebate" site you are missing out! From August 2016 to date (11/29/17) I have "earned" $414.00, doing nothing more than purchasing items that I would have purchased regardless then scanning my store receipt and item (s) purchased bar code (s). I was able to earn this amount due to ibotta's vast selection of stores and product rebates. The money will stay in your account until you earn $20.00, at this time you can opt to cash out or wait. If you cash out, you have your choice of an account transfer or a variety of gift cards! The only thing it will cost you is a little of your time :)
I have to check the deals at several different stores before I go shopping. It takes me a little more time.

This is one of my favorite apps! It's easy to use, the customer service is awesome, and it helps me save a bunch of money too! The app can be confusing because they have so many retailers they partner with that it can get slightly overwhelming because some of them review receipts differently. However, the website has very detailed FAQ's and articles explaining how to make the most out of your cash back, I would recommend any new users to the app take some time to go through to the website to avoid any confusion. Ibotta has a lot of good offers
I have been using this app for a year now and have cashed out over $60 successfully. They have great bonuses for completing a certain amount of offers which motivates me to do more and save more. Recently, I hit the $20 mark again and trying cashing out but keep getting error messages. I contacted support and they said they have been working on the issue with cash out to PayPal and it will work again once they come out with an app update. I am hoping that this is true and will happen soon.
This site is great for saving money. I have used a few other coupon apps but I like this one the best. You can shop online or in-store. You can get gift cards or money straight back to your bank account. Lots of fabulous coupons. Everyone needs to give it a go.
Have tried this for one month and out of all my shopping got few bucks only. The majority of brands they list are not what I normally would buy. Not worth the time and effort. Especially if you cant cash when you reach the $20.
I ordered an item from Home Depot with 4% back. My account was never credited. After 6 weeks of constant emailing I was told they would give me. 5%. So instead of $45 they gave me $5. I've used Rakuten often, never had this issue.
