Ibotta

It started out ok, then when I got busy and couldn't use the app for a couple months i found they started deducting my earnings from my balance. I complained to them which prompted them to deactivate my account for "violating their terms" apparently the terms indicate you cant give them any negative feedback? I since have found so many other negative reviews I'm convinced they are totally shady.

I've linked my accounts and ensured I added offers to my account, and still the app doesn't add the cash back right. I frequently have to contact support which is run by a bunch of morons. It takes my several emails to get them to understand basic math and I have to upload my receipts each time b/c they can't scroll through the messages to see I've already done that! It's frustrating to say the least and not sure the few bucks here and there is worth it.

For the last six months, items with rebates on Ibotta are beyond pitiful. It simply is not worth it to scan a receipt just to get 25¢. Customer service response time is measured in weeks now and usually you get a generic reply that is as insulting as it is unhelpful. Try it out and see just what an epic waste of time and effort it is.

Once you get the hang making money is sooo easy. Shopping at Target is so much phone. An shopping for free is even better. During these hard times this app is just what stay at home moms need to help contribute

Was to get $4.25 for one receipt. Next day, it was just gone. Re-submitted the next day. The day after that, the new one was just gone. After emailing with the "care center," many times, they will not give me my credit. I was told the receipt was used by someone else. That was impossible and told them a theft had taken place. They just said they couldn't discuss another persons account. They obviously don't care about fraud or customer care. On the other hand, I did get the $20 gift card from the initial sign up bonus & purchases pretty quick. All in all, it takes too much time and effort, but it will give you a gift card eventually.

At least weekly I don't get credit for an item purchased thus having to contact customer support to get my credit.
With the current supply issues upon this nation, numerous items are not at the store.

I was travelling and not having my own place for almost a year. Not buying groceries, I didn't use ibotta for a little bit. When I logged back in, they had drained my account to fees. Customer support wasn't the least bit helpful. I'm so glad I wasted so much time scanning receipts. It's great.

This app is nothing like Fetch, where you scan your receipt and it automatically applies your offers. With Ibotta, you have to individually search every item you bought, to see if there are any offers. Even though I buy mostly name-brand groceries, hardly any of them have offers, or if they do, they aren't valid at my store or they are for a very specific type of the product or a quantity/size I don't need. It's taken me months just to earn a few dollars. Don't believe these 5-star reviews - they look very fake to me. I'm doing way better with Fetch. Even though their offers are for less money, I'm earning more money overall with them and the process is very simple.

Sometimes I find great deals and other times I find nothing. I always check it against my shopping list and every once and a while I will try new things just because of the cash back, but not as often as I would if I had a coupon in hand and didn't have to pay full price up front.

I love using Ibotta. I'm a senior and it helps me save money. I've never had a problem with them but my daughter-in-law did so she quit using it. So far so good no complaints from me. With me using coupons I save even more. Thank you Ibotta I love saving with you.

I found their welcome offers to be bait and switch. When I ask them to tell me how I did not comply with the offer to which I responded, I get a canned response. There is no effort to actually look at the issue and satisfy the consumer. I would NEVER have bothered with this site to have to make NINE purchases to make $15 as a welcome bonus...which is the sad little offer they refer to in their canned response. I signed up for making $15 for one $50 online purchase, but somehow this bonus has never materialized, even though I have made more than one $50 purchase. Horrible!

It gives you some free options where you get your full money back and even then it still helps being able to save some money. The back to school money back on supplies really helps I love Ibotta for doing that!

I did try to get a any item offer at Walmart and later at CVS for any dried fruit any size yesterday. I tried to enter a dried fruit and it would not accept it even after entering the UPC and picture. It was very frustrating. And I could not report it because that was the only item I bought.

Ibotta is a great app! I started using the app because I'm a SAHM with husband working so I'm finding any way I can to save on the things we buy. Ibotta's offers change so it keeps my shopping list interesting with new things every week or every other week. The Turkey dinner offer did help me get 1 item of basic thanksgiving staples for FREE and get $15 off a turkey! The app also encourages me to look at other retailers for items that I may also like by simply swiping, clicking on the retailer, and seeing the offers available. No more looking at the Sunday innies lol. Sometimes I save on food staples, sometimes I save on household staples, but always I get some kind of cash back after making a purchase. What also cool is you can use the cash back to go into your bank account or use it for gift cards!

So far it is working great for me. I got free school supplies today. I just stared using the app and cashed out for two ITunes gift cards. One for $25 and one for $20! At first I didn't know what I was doing but today I went to the store and got the free school supplies from Walmart. I made sure to check everything I bought and then I scanned the bar code on my receipt. I got the credit for the school supplies and a $5 and $15 bonus for being a new user.

I was very skeptical about I Orta at first but after doing some research and realizing u could be getting cash back on items I already have to buy was amazing! I love how simple it is and how fast Ibotta costumer service responds if their happens to be a problem with not getting all the offers I included! And the Pic below is only in two months! And I don't shop very often! Well worth it on things I already have to buy for my home

... then Ibotta is your app! It's absolutely ridiculous the hoops that you have to jump through to get the cash back. Ibotta is getting about as ridiculously ridiculous as Coupons.com. My advice. Just don't. Save yourself time. Because, after all, time IS money. And the time that is spent trying to get the promised cash back is time not well spent.

I love this app! Ive been using it for just a few weeks and have already cashed out $25. It's a great way to stack deals with other coupons or rewards programs or use alone for money back! Before I head to my local grocery store I just pop onto the app real quick and save a few deals and earn money back for stuff I would be buying anyways! My referral code gets you and me and extra $10: cgupegs.

I regret ever downloading their app. You as a customer have the right to request to close your account at any time. However, it is unacceptable and frustrating that their customer care department requires you to answer unnecessary questions for you to do so. Each time you reply to their message, they take their sweet time to reply. Then your reply shows up on a thread as an update from their department. Their customer service agents are unhelpful and annoying.

Ibotta is having a great Thanksgiving freebie deal if you shop Wal-Mart, but you have to shop NOW! The available products are going fast, and my local Wal-Mart was already out of Cranberry Relish, and I could not find any of the beverages. It was kinda cool shopping, because I kept seeing the same shoppers at the same products, so asked, and Yes, two were shopping Ibotta! I love the Ibotta program, and highly recommend enrolling. Ibotta is easy and fun to use, and totally trustworthy! You have nothing to lose, and $$ to gain!
