I've attempted to reinstate the app on different phones, over the past 4-5 years. With the SAME crap results. FLUNK.
Now, they require 'linking' with any store you shop, just to scan and/or redeem receipt points. Really? So now you cannot just simply
Scan your receipts like a normal app. Okay... well that doesn't work for me. Considering the 'linking' part doesn't actually work. Just spins into oblivion and then gives "sorry, we couldn't connect to that server right now" b. S. Total scam or plain buggy, which the developers don't bother to fix. Use Fetch Rewards or Receipt Hog instead.

The help team worked really hard to fix my account problem. They answer my email the same day or the next day. Now I can enjoy using ibotta again.

I've been doing Ibotta for 5 yrs & made $500 honestly I don't know how to navigate it other than what I buy on my grocery receipts sometimes it wont take it because it'll be the six day and says receipt past due. I've had items I've bought not show up. They don't put enough fruit and vegetables on there it's a lot of beer & alcohol. They need to do more any items in every category so you can get more per receipt. I've had my receipts be too late to receive credit because it's not readable which isn't my fault and then I lost money. I don't link account cuz I like to see things I bought. It takes a while to earn but it's a hobby if you have time or just link acct and be done

I love Ibotta it's so much fun and rewarding all at the same time and it has actually saves me a few time when I realized I had no money then I remembered the Ibotta app checked my balance and had more then enough to immediately transfer to my bank and the situation was resolved quickly. I often forget to check my balance but I always look at the deals and make a grocery list and try to add on as much as I can ever since I realized I can get my cash immediately if needed for emergencies. I LOVE Ibotta! I have accumulated enough cash in the past to put a down payment on something that I really wanted! And I am working on accumulating enough again to help pay off some bills. Love the ease of use and the variety of products/stores that I use and frequent. I have shared the app several times and will definitely continue sharing!

I'm new and figuring how to link up some accounts could be easier. But let's face it, it's probably my fault for not doing it correctly!

Before using Ibotta, I was wasting money on items and not receiving cashback. I have saved over 100 dollars with Ibotta and used all my savings on my weekly grocery bill! I have my kids checking Ibotta for new coupons every day! Thank you again for everything!

All of my items have matched several times from Walmart and they were even approved! Then it says $0.00 earned! I submitted about 7 times even typing in the number. I can also link this acct to my credit card and they don't match all my items and it is like pulling eyeteeth to get my money and items matched! This has happened several times! Great way to earn money when you get what is promised! It was exciting at first and now it is very stressful and a let down :(

When I first started using a Ibotta it was very confusing, however there are many tutorials not only on the Ibotta site but on YouTube as well. A lot of the products I found are not in the stores it says they are in. Example they had a bag of potting soil I search Walmart high and low, went back two times and still no sign of that brand that it was giving a rebate on from the Ibotta site. A lot of the products our products I would never buy. However there have been some products that I seen on the side that I wanted to try. I'm starting to get the hang of the site. It takes a lot of time and work. I hope that it gets better.

I have used Ibotta for about 6 months now. I got an email the other day 4 days ago actually and it said that my account was being reviewed and that's all it says so I've been asking everyday you know what's going on when I get the same thing an account is being reviewed that's all they're saying to me then today after the last one of those emails it says my account is deactivated and it says the same thing the account is being reviewed. They can't tell me why it's deactivated just that it's been deactivated or they don't want to I had 20 bucks in referrals to referrals that they took so they have two more customers and they took that money from me I had $23 left on my account and I was trying to cash it in and then they deactivated it. So they will let you cash out sometimes but I cashed out two weeks almost 2 weeks in a row and I guess that was too much for them to have to pay out for referrals. Like I said it started out good and then they deactivated my account.

I gave Ibotta a second chance and Again I was Dissapointed. They did not give me the credits earned. Some products I purchased had multiple credits Earned but I did not receive them. When I look for the product again to resubmit them, They are no longer on they're list. Total Waste of time!
I accumulated over 6.00 and they gave me a 2.00 credit! This app sucks. Stay Away!
They seriously need to check the receipts Better and give shoppers the correct earned credits.

First of all the threshold to cash out is so high ($20) and the rebates so poor (. 20 for basics, slightly more for stuff you'd rarely buy), that it takes awhile to get to $20. NOW they said they'll be charging $4/mo (!) if your account is inactive. They stated it had to do with unclaimed funds being escheated to the state - BS! They could just allow you to cash in for gift cards at your current amount! On top of that, they give you 7 days to activate your account, but deduct the fee BEFORE the 7th day is done (they stole it at noon!). I'd planned to make some stupid purchase just so I could claim my hard-earned $.
Anyway, I smell a class-action lawsuit on the horizon and the death of Ibotta...

I liked ibotta at first until i reached 30 $ with theyre minimum deposit being 20 to cash out put all my important information in including my bank account just to not be able to cash out my earnings with this being my first time cashing out i put in a ticket of complaint about the issue and instead they closed my account i dont think a fishing scam like ibotta should be able to continue to lie and manipulate us into giving our information and not holding up theyre end of advertisement
Ps. All i did was submit a request for my payout and this was my only result no response other then my account being deactivated with no explanation of why they closed it

I needed to update my email because the old one doesn't seem to receive email verifications. Aira R was very helpful in solving the issue.

Do not waste your time. I have not been able to withdraw the funds I have earned and I have not been able to get help from their so called "care" team after multiple attempts. Also, many items that they say are qualified do not scan after you buy them. I have no idea how these people are even allowed to stay in business.

This app started out okay but now they will find any reason to not issue a rebate, especially the "any" items like "any brand of coffee." Now I'm getting messages 3-4 days after I upload a receipt which say they "couldn't find total" or "date of receipt couldn't be found" and they have to know full well that the receipt has already been thrown away! Customer service is virtually non-existent and the app is complete rip off!

Ibotta is one of the worst apps I have ever came across. They not only deleted my account for a complete lie but stole my money. I made them aware of this and they did not care. They decided to lie and say I did not shop for my items. I find that bizarre and weird because it makes no sense at all. I mean how do they know who shopped for what? I did shop for my items and they just lie and steal, and have the rudest customer service ever.

They closed my account without any warning for apparently submitting too many receipts, and when I asked for the contact number to speak to a manager, they discontinued communication. I had $75 in my account, and they will not give it to me even though I have copies of all of my receipts. I even offered to show my bank statements!

The last straw was I bought suave deodorant and they didn't recognize it. When I scanned the bar code in the deodorant it kept saying it didn't recognize. Done with this app. I've even doing it for 2 months and still haven't made it to twenty dollars. Fetch rewards doesn't miss buys like Ibotta

The app is very time consuming you have to stroll through all the offers plus claim them or you want get credit... then you have to submit your receipt... if I may I would like to suggest Ibotta doing the time consuming work why don't they check your receipt when you scan it and let you know what items you purchase qualifies and give you credit for them. That way no item is over looked and you get credit and not get screwed out of a item you didn't except before you submitted your receipt!

I downloaded the app today went shopping and afterwards scan my receipt make $58 instantly you can redeem your money and get it cash sent to your cash app or any car do you have and or you can opt to redeem it in Walmart gift card very great first experience!

Don't use this app. They don't credit your purchases like they say they would. You have to keep following up with them. Even when someone emails you and says that they have credited you it won't show up on your account. This is a complete waste of time. Do not use this app.

This is my first time trying Ibotta, and I love it! You just pick the store from their list, link your card, then pick your items shop and the savings accumulate. I just earned my first $20 dollars and I'm excited to keep earning!
