In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
I usually get all of the credit that I'm supposed to. Yesterday when I went shopping, I came back and got most of my credit back. Ibotta sent me a message that said that if I go back into the app under my earnings, I could get more credit for something that I purchased. I did that and just got the credit back now. I am very happy with everything Ibotta.
Many years ago, my daughter had looked into many cashback, apps, and she thought Ibotta would be a good one. She was right! I have earned over $1500 in money back through gift cards over the years, and I am very happy with it!

I scand the jack links tender bites you have come back twice saying the offer is ineligible when I scaned them in the store it says item matches then when I submit the receipt you can't find the offer it is the 3rd item on the re eipt and there was no coupon used
It's terrible because yoy cheat people out of items for bonuses if I don't get credit for the 3 jack links this wi be 4 items I have been cheated out of for the 150 item bonus

I have been using ibotta for a while
I can't express how much I love Ibotta. I buy groceries that I need and look through the list to see if there's a rebate. Oftentimes, there are many rebates of things on my list. Then, I add those items to my list and my cash back adds up quickly.
This is an app everyone could have so you can get cash back. It's very easy too.
Besides saving money, if you need any help, they come to your rescue!

I was missing some cash back for a recent purchase that I had made at Walmart on an in-store shopping trip. I submitted a request to the Ibotta Care Team, and they professionally and courteously resolved the issue in a very timely manner.
I had missing cash back so contacted customer support, they were so helpful and nice then about a week later, I got my cash back! I am very happy and satisfied with their service!

Food Lion linked account has changed from crediting the day after shopping to three days after shopping. Hard to plan on making bonuses. This just recently started happening

Disappointed, I bought 2 Gatorade 8 packs (actually 2 / buy 2 get 1); and didn't get my credit back. Submitted the receipt twice. Can you please help?
I wish you would have more normal items. Some of these aren't even offered in our area. I would like to see more meat items and breakfast stuff. Just stuff that not normal people use

I love the whole cash-back aspect, of course. What's even better is that twice, after I've shopped at a particular store, I got a message from ibotta saying that a purchase I made was eligible for cash back, and they even sent detailed instructions on how to claim the cash - and I didn't even know I had earned it! Bravo!

Easy to use!
After Jewel-Osco updated the format of their receipts, the app has been unable to correctly read them. Instead of having a separate line for each item, the receipts now show quantity on a single line (ie: "3@"). Despite scanning the barcodes in the app on approved purchases to ensure the correct number of items is being recognized, it still comes back saying only one item was purchased. Then it is several days before an actual human reviews the receipt and manually applies the remaining balance. On top of all this, you miss out on the correct number of items purchased going towards any bonuses you have. Customer service just tells you they cannot help with bonuses. I have explained this situation ad nauseam to ibotta, nothing seems to get updated or fixed.
The same thing happens every time I buy multiples of items at Jewel-Osco. I scan the receipt the first time and ensure the correct number of items have been selected (bar codes verified). Then I have to rescan the receipt when it comes back saying only one item was purchased (again, because the app cannot read the quantity correctly). Then when that is returned saying that still only one item is verified, I have to follow-up with an inquiry, which can take anywhere from 3-7 days to receive a response. Then when I get that first response, it is usually someone who did not read my initial message and they tell me that it is my fault for not correctly entering the right number of items purchased (again, I reference in my first inquiry that this is an ongoing issue with Jewel-Osco apps and that I scanned each and every applicable barcode to ensure the correct number of items was selected). It is beyond frustrating that the first response always put the blame on me and then postpones resolving the issue for an extended period of time. Then when someone replies to that inquiry several days later, they likely manually apply the missing balance, but then tell me there is nothing that they can do about the items purchased being correctly reflected towards any bonuses that I have. For example, If I purchase 5 of an approved item, it is only counted as 1 towards the bonus. This is unfair and dishonest. I realize that ibotta doesn't have to exist or provide this service, but we the customers are doing the steps correctly and shouldn't be penalized because the system cannot read the receipts. This needs to change. I have contacted ibotta about this so many times that I have lost track.
Because I like the concept of the app. I just wish that it would apply the rebates correctly and ensure that the correct number of items is counted towards any bonuses.

I had some questions on adding offers after a purchase and the customer service was quick to answer, extremely nice, and very thorough in explaining the situation. I was very impressed with my experience and love the ease of using the app!
My income I have to rebate, I send for coupons to be mailed to me, shop weekly for the bargains and load up. I rely on store to do my shopping so I do not always get paper receipts, which I believe the stores should make that an option, not tell you that you can't have paper receipt for pick up or delivery. Is there any way of getting rebate from receipt on their app. Older people (some) need as much financial aid as possible. Thank you

Apps like Ibotta are rare. Sure all of them tell you that you can get money for jumping through hoop A, B and C but mainly never come through or you find out then you have to go through to Z. Ibotta isn't like that. They have the products on their app and if you get any of those products you get money back. It's that simple. It is really easy to make sure you have the right product because the app also can scan the upc code and tell you if it is the right one. Also, they also have the category any brand such as trash bags so then it doesn't matter which brand of trash bags you get you still get money back. They also have any receipt which means buy anything get money back. Thanksgiving must be their favorite holiday because they give away free food. I got a free turkey from them 2 years ago. How that worked is I went into my local Walmart and bought a turkey. They then reimbursed me for 100% of the cost. And that is only one of the many items they did that for. I will finish this by saying remember how I told you that there are some apps that give you money for jumping through hoop A, B and C? Well Ibotta is like that except there is no B and C and with A rather than jumping through a hoop it is more like walking over a piece of string placed on the ground in front of you.
To be honest it has been so long ago that I no longer remember the particulars only the satisfaction I got from the whole experience.
Do you mean why did I choose Ibotta initially? Simply to get back money on things I was already going to buy anyways. Also, I do not watch TV so the only way I learn about new items or items that I should try out is through apps like Ibotta.
I love Ibotta. I do not watch tv commercials so I learn about all new products and new versions of products from Ibotta. I love that I can make money from getting things I was already buying. Just one example is the Palmolive Ultra Dish Liquid that I got $3 back from which makes the price half of what everybody else paid for it. I love that I do not need to then go home and send pics of what I bought or scan receipts or anything else to get my money. If I pay with my connected debit card it automatically sticks the money in my account. Their customer service is second to none. Another thing I love that no one else has to my limited knowledge they have a scan feature so that before you buy something you can scan the upc first to make sure you have the correct one. And instead of just one scan like another app you can rescan items so if you like decide you want to instead get a different flavor of something and need to scan it to make sure it is also covered.
It has been quite awhile ago so I don't really remember the details but I remember being really satisfied with the outcome and the customer service received.
Getting money back on things you are already buying is a no brainer. If I am trying to choose between various brands I always go with the one on Ibotta because if they are giving you cash back they must really trust their product to be good.
I rarely have issues with Ibotta, but with technology its bound to happen sometimes. The few times I have needed to contact them, I have ALWAYS received prompt customer service. They go above and beyond to assist the customer and make things right whenever there is an issue.
I have been a member of Ibotta for many many years, but the latest encounter was phenomenal. I had purchased an item that I had not added to my list previously for claiming. I got a message from them giving me 24 hours to claim it on a receipt, because they saw that I hadn't! IMPRESSIVE

It took a couple of times to get my money credits. I retook a picture of my receipt and the second time it went through. Give them a day or so to correct. Give them a chance.
It said I had already got credit on a receipt and I hadn't even put it in. I explained the situation to Ibotta care and they took care of it.
I save my money all year to buy the food towards my Cookie Exchange. It was so helpful.Saving little at a time.
Make your grocery list then grab a cup of coffee and go over your list to see what Ibotta is paying on. It is worth the time. You gotta buy groceries,why not start a savings. I save to have the money for my groceries for my cookie exchange party in December. Make a goal.

Simple easy to use
Not sure if receipts are read manually by an actual person or machine but I keep on missing cash backs. Like this latest receipt I submitted. They only counted the essential energy drink as 1 when I purchased 4 and the receipt shows 4 essential drink in 1 line and not 4 separate lines: you should have seen that clearly as the price after is the price for 4. I have to always write every single time which is a bit annoying as if I'm begging to get cents from you guys. Also when I use the a store loyalty number, you credit my cash back at least a day after I purchased the products and you no longer count that for the bonus even though I purchased it within the bonus time frame. It's so frustrating that I feel you just ignore this instances as some people. Don't have the time to complain.
