Ibotta

My phone with the Ibotta app and my info died. My new phone (even though it is a later version of android) somehow is not compatible with the app. I wrote to Ibotta explaining my situation and asked what I could do to retrieve my earnings. I was nicely told to go pound sand- that some phone systems are compatible with Android and some aren't and it is google who controls what phones are compatible and what phones are not- and it was Google- NOT THEM. They didn't offer to help- didn't offer to give me some sort of credit for the points/$$ I earned. Always had problems with the app- scanning issues- app freezing- going to black - not working. I just want the rewards that I am owed. And if I could give them 0 stars or negative stars I would. They have made no effort to make my situation right nor do they seem to care.

At first I felt that the app was alittle hard to get a hang of, once I kept using it I realized how amazing the app is! I have gotten $75 dollars back and helps out when I need alittle extra $$$. I love this app!

They kept all the money that I earned & told me my phone number that I was using was registered to a 3rd party app & refused to allow me to withdraw any other way because it was considered suspicious activity. Ridiculous, don't use this app!

I had almost 50.00 in rewards and because I didn't stay active they deducted 3.99 every month I wasn't, so now I have 3.80 left. That's a bunch of crap. I kept going in and couldn't find any deals on anything I buy so I've been penalized. If I had cashed my earnings out they never would of been able to take them. This is a bunch of BS

It's real simple, the app doesn't calculate your rewards. For example, Perdue chicken is worth $1, but although it says after I scan it that I got a $1, when I look at my total rewards, it's the same. And then I think, well maybe it takes some time, but, nope, I never get my reward. And apparently, I'm not the only person with this problem, when I read the reviews many others complain for the same reason and all IBOTTA does is say the same thing, "we're sorry for the inconvenience." In the beginning it worked great, but it stopped at $8

In order for you to cashout, you are required to request a code via text message... well I was given an error code that indicated that my number was not valid. It's my number! There's no phone number. The waiting list for responses are 6 days. Their support team said I have to provide the correct number. I DID!

I just down load the offers I an interested in. Shop. Scan the receipt.

Bought an item. I didn't receive credit for it. Customer service got right on it. I had my credit with in 24 hours.

I love the deals that I find and if I've ever had any issues, the customer service has been exceptional and extremely helpful.

I loved learning that I could take advantage of using Ibotta to save money getting cash back with everyday shopping that I have to do anyway. Apart from the groceries or stores' offers that I buy I can still get cash back from Ibotta! And the best part is that I can transfer the money on the app to my checkings account so it helps me pay the credit cards bills too! Perfect!

When you first start off with ibotta it is kind a hard to figure out an alarm which you supposed to do but once you get the skills now you know what you're doing is so easy to get cash back so easy to upload receipts real awesome

I challenge myself to save money. I spend a lot of time making lists and checking for best prices. I did not withdrawal my money until Christmas time. After a year of saving through the in store and online savings through ibotta I went to withdraw and they said they didnt like my shopping pattern so they closed my account. If most of my shopping was through their app to online sites how can that not be your purchase? I went to BBB but Ibotta just doesn't care.

I have be able to get rebates sometimes, but other times, I scan the product in the store and the app says it is valid but when I scan my receipt after purchase the app says it is not valid. I would not have bought the product if I knew I would not get the rebate! That is bad

I would not recommend this app to anyone. Money doesn't grow on trees for me obviously that's why I'm trying to get cash back for stuff I bought. The app seems to only offer cash back for the items that cost the most. Youd think having the receipts would be good enough for the app to see what you bought and then give you cash back but I guess not. This app definitely needs work.

I signed up when I could link my Kroger account to the Ibotta points. That system is no longer. By the time I load all the goodies and scan the receipts the money I receive is not worth it. The syetm is slow beyonf what is acceptable and disconnects me frequently. Today I received an email that they would charge me maintenance fees if I didn't use more. I am deleting the app today

Ibotta is simple but lucrative! Dont have to be tech savvy.

It's so easy to use and I am already at 32 dollars (only after a week and half). I upload the receipts of the items I am already buying and it gives me credit on already reduced prices-I use coupons from different retailers like cvs

I have never had issues with my app until just this last week. I cashed in my money for a gift card and never got the gift card. I followed the directions on how to resend it, but still nothing. So i put in a ticket for help, 4 different tickets I have now put in and no response at all!

I enjoy using Ibotta since it's just few clicks away for some extra savings. My favorite stores are Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, CVS, Target etc as they are my frequent shopping places. The process is super easy that I just need to use the Ibotta app to review my shopping list and add the items for extra earnings. Then at the end, I just have to submit my receipt and the earnings will apply to my account within 24 hours. It's very user friendly even when I have to contact the Ibotta team when I have questions, their response time is always within 24-48 hours with additional follow-ups after. Did I mention that I just made it to the $50 club

Great app. The cashback from Ibotta can compensate the recent spike in my grocery bill. I have no problem getting cashback from the offers. Occasionally there is a glitch on the app but the Ibotta team have been responsive to resolve it to make sure my account is credited. Keep up the good work!

Not only waste of time, but they make it hard for you to withdraw your credits... trying to reset my password to be able to get my money, it has been several days, and I still couldn't... it may work if you have little money, so cash out asap and get out of it

I have been trying for several days to redeem my $22 to a gift card. I can't do it! For a stupid $22. On top of that I can't get anyone to return my e mail. I think it's horrible that they advertise the newest way to save... what a joke.
