I strongly do not recommend this company for customers to get anything back the company will keep your earnings they have a horrible way of business with the better business bureau
My advice to businesses who want to partner with ibotta is DON'T DO IT
YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE WILL BE AS UNETHICAL AS IBOTTA

Don't trust them.

I use it all the time because I like getting cash back. It activates the reward center in my brain. I know this. Ibotta also knows this. I spent $190 on a pair of shoes to get 10% cash back. I followed all the directions, shopped through Ibotta, tapped the right buttons. It was ANY item. I bought one pair of shoes full price, no discounts, no coupons, no promo codes. The cash back bonus was not expired. Ibotta notified me that they received my order and would let me know if my item earned cash back (which it definitely should have). Basically 2 weeks later they told me my order was not eligible for cash back, which is a lie.

I would not recommend this app to anyone who expects to receive more than $2 or $3 back for a purchase. Also super time consuming because you have to click on the store you plan on going to and individually add items to your list you want cash back for and then send pics of the receipt after purchase. Would be cooler if you could just shop stress free, then scan your receipt after and it automatically matched offers on the receipt if they had it for that particular store. You'd think in the year 2022 they'd figure out how to do that.

After I scanned my receipt, one of my purchases was missing. I selected it and scanned the barcode. It was added immediately.

I am a person who strives to only buy what we need and I've made 500 dollars. I can't complain. Ibotta is always improving itself which is a bonus on top of the bonus.

I was broke and needed dog food. Came across a this app. Tried it out in 20 minutes I made 30 dollars. Instantly redeemed on gift card and got dog food. Thanks Ibotta you really help me out

They won't let you use it unless you link your accounts - otherwise the "submit receipt" button magically disappears. No help contact info. A joke. Stick with Fetch.

I was locked out of my account for absolutely no reason or explanation like many other users. I don't have multiple accounts, I've never uploaded a receipt that isn't mine. Never once took advantage.

Like everyone says they always have an excuse not to rebate you and keep your money. Scam app stay away waste of time I use kicks and ebates much easier

Ibotta has made simple task like going shopping a true joy, I love the fact that they have a variety of items and store you can get cash back on. It's truly a great app.

Signed up with a few sponsors and saw $130 quickly as promised. Gift card redemption was ez. Haven't tried the cash cashout feature yet

Really great app makes it so much easier when you link your card. This app is good for people who can be a little patient and not expect money right away.

Even when following all guidelines it only works maybe 20% of the time. Waste of time for no return- better off just using regular coupons to begin with like our mamas and grandmas!

Very few redeemable items, rejects items advertised, after taking pictures of long receipt app freezes and you lose it all, takes forever to get any money back.

They didn't credit me for my saved offers. Had to keep emailing as they have no contact #. It's been over a week and I still can't get my funds cashed out. Fetch is easier.

Someone was able to link their PayPal account and take all of my earnings over the last year. I've been trying to reach out to Ibotta for 4 days with zero success.

I had trouble submitting a receipt; tried to resubmit 6 times. Emailed Ibotta, got generated responses no individual contact. I gave up and cancelled app. Totally frustrated, quit while I am ahead.

I bought 8, they were on sale by 1 get 1 50 percent. One digital coupon came off.

No answer back as of yet.

Such an easy way to get cash back. Don't have to do mail in rebates.

I love it! Super easy to use and i spend the cash on fun things!

I heard all the hype about Ibotta so signed up. What a nightmare! Don't waste your time thinking you're going to save tons of money. The exorbitant time you have to spend chasing down the rebates and then emailing back and forth with customer service is better served by clipping real coupons. Take the Walmart receipt code hype for example... supposedly you just take photo with your phone and Ibotta will in fact know what you bought and give you the rebates immediately. NOT! It doesn't work and now I've wasted several days with going back and forth with customer service and I still don't have the correct rebates. I even tried only purchasing 4 items for each receipt and that doesn't work either. Excuse after excuse and still no resolution.

I could have saved more money by just using regular coupons or store sales and saved the money on the front end rather than spending full price and hoping for a rebate. There are terrific coupon clipping services where you can pay very nominal clipping fees and obtain newspaper coupons.

I was optimistic at first because of the hype but now I see that's all it is... hype. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I've made $68.50 back on the app. I cannot collect the money because ibotta has locked me out of their system. I've sent 5 help messages with no response. I'm being to think ibotta is a scam.

Not so good... bought an item; scanned item (which said it matched) and then iBotta denied it!

Haven't heard back ... "considering it -- takes 24 hours"
