In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
I have been trying to reach a live support person to no avail. I keep getting reversals of earnings which are incorrect and I can't reach anyone to dispute the reversals.

It's great when it works properly. Just in this last year I have had many emails telling me I have returned or canceled orders. I don't know what kind of glitch their system has, but I feel like closing what is left in my account because of my frustration of trying to resolve issues and not being able to talk to anyone.

When I realized how easy it is to use Ibotta, I was hooked. I always check to see if the item(s) that I've checked are on sale. If they are, I go on ahead and place them on my little list. If I'm lucky I can certain items for practically nothing.
I'd recently purchased some coffee that was a cash back item. After scanning the bar code, I got an error message. I contacted customer service, took a photo of the coffee ( front and back), and submitted a request. Within no time customer service contacted me back. The coffee that I purchased was eligible item.
Easy money into my savings account
This was not the first time I have had missing cash, however, it is usually reversed and resolved quickly with no complaints. This time was different because after I shopped for 28 redemption offers, submitted my paper receipt that was accepted and I confirmed, the cash was not given, and worse was the receipt went "missing" from my account. After 4 days of resubmission of receipt and the list of offers, I got the resolution with all my cash given. It was upsetting, especially not being able to speak to 'a person' on the phone, then aggravating to wait 4 days for a recovery, but in the end, it was positive. I don't know what happened to cause this debacle, but I hope it does not happen again. It was exhausting to me!
As written above, my only complaint was the length of time(4 days) to get it resolved and having to resubmit my receipt and list of missing offers. I have no explanation for the reason my receipt was first accepted and offers, # of redemptions were correct, I confirmed, then the next day there was no cash and my receipt went missing! Not a trace of it recorded in my earnings. So I had to go through the Help Center and deal with Carlotta (the bot) to access the support team email submission page. That was a bit annoying. I wish there was a way to skip Carlotta and tap onto the submit request for support right away! My shopping trip was after a major holiday, so I assume the Care Team was swamped with requests to review, repair issues. It was exhausting to me, and I worried when I didn't get more immediate resolve. In the end, it was resolved and I got the cash deserved.
I have saved almost $1600.00 since I starting using Ibotta for purchasing groceries. It has given me reason to try other brands that I normally would not buy, getting the reward of bonus cash back, that I turn around and turn into a walmart gift card instantly and use with my next shopping trip. I like the ability to get the cash in gift card of my choice so quickly. I literally scan all my groceries, then on my mobile Ibotta app, tap my rewarded cash in the upper right, tap redeem, the amount I want to use, how I want to use it...I chose gift cars, then I chose Walmart, tap review my request to verify, then tap confirm and open my gift car! It's right there for me to scan immediately! I scan the gift card and it immediately comes off my shopping bill total! Good stuff! My only advice to everyone would be check your offers and cash back for missing cash. It happens, but it can get resolved by submitting a request to the support care team through the,'help center' in the app. It is usually resolved fairly quickly and for the positive.
I had an unfortunate app experience with the app where all my history disappeared. I contacted the Care Team and they were able to resolve the issue and all is back to normal now😊. Excellent team work. Jovie, Danica, Harry and Jack.
Did an order at lowes, 7.5% back with a cap of $40. Took almost 2 months to get cash back and then only got a little over half of the cap amount. Literal rip off.
Just kept repeating it takes time even thou it kept blowing their timeline and the original said within 7 days.

I typically shop through Ibotta to get the best deals and saving and although it doesn't happen often, sometimes the cash back doesn't come through and the service team is so prompt to take care of my issue :)

I shouldn't have to make sure that it scans and then accepts everything twice. I submitted to correct that I got 2 Boba from Target which it accepted the scan and then only gave me 1. I went to request it again but it wants me to scan the box again. It's in the trash! I don't the boxes I don't need!

I had purchased Reese's Puff cereal at Dollar General, used a coupon, but wasn't showing I could not use coupon for the purchase. I reached out the Help Center and in no time they credited my account with the cash back on these items! Handled the situation very quickly and were absolutely great to deal with.
I used to do pretty decent with different offers and eleven the bonus ones.
In the last year or so I've barely been able to redeem and offers, in the usual products that I buy too. And even now, it's been dropping the offers that are clearly on my receipt. Like, I will select the offers, upload the receipt, the offers are very clearly claimed there, and then U submit it. Then the next day when it's done "confirming" the offer or whatever, it has been deleting several of my offers.
Then when you submit the help ticket, the agents expect you to take a screenshot BEFORE you submit the receipt, because of course that's what we are thinking to do, that we might have an issue with an offer. So then they request you to send them a screenshot of the offer but the offer will no longer show up. They need to fix that problem. This has now happened to me 3 times in the last week.
What they need to do is put the original claims on what we submitted and then if it denies, then at least the app still has a record of what offers we claimed and can look back on this data!
They couldn't help me because I was apparently supposed to take a screenshot of the offer BEFORE I submitted my receipt, and I should have expected the app to not work. So I was not able to recover the the money I was originally supposed to receive. Three times this week now!
I originally chose Ibotta because I was getting pretty money back.
Now it's almost not worth it. My other receipt companies competitively offer way more these days!

I been saving with Ibotta for 3 years, this app is good to save on the items I shop for my everyday purchases. I love the bonuses that come with the cash back is fun and easy to use.
I've been using the Ibotta app frequently lately and am very happy with the design of the app, features and available offers! There are quite a few products I normally buy featured on Ibotta, why not get cash back for things I purchase anyway? Using Ibotta (in addition to things being on sale sometimes) has really helped me be more frugal in my shopping. So glad I found this app!

I emailed the company, gave them all information required and even tho they say I didn't get the right product, which I did, they still worked with me. They explained how I can receive my cash back if something like this happened again and gave me the cash back!

No matter what I try or what I do, I will scan the item in the store, verify that it qualifies for the rebate and then I go home submit the receipt and they deny the rebate. I wouldn't even purchase the item if it weren't for the rebate, Instead, I could buy the generic brand which would be the same price or cheaper than the namebrand with the rebate. And when I try to show them that they're wrong, they give me vague responses and I never get my rebate money. Overall, this app will get you money in rebates, but also cost you money that you could have saved otherwise.
I keep hoping that they will be able to do the right thing and honor all the rebates they say they offer. But they never do which is why I need to quit choosing Ibotta. I do not recommend this to anyone that really needs the rebates to survive.
I ordered on line at Walmart flea medicine along with dog food. The items arrived and within a hour or two I had my cash back in my Ibotta account.

Why is it that when I bought a refuse the receipt the people reviewing them are either blind or stupid? I have to fight with them all the time along with everybody else. I know that has Ibotta because they don't know how to read on a receipt. I just submitted one with four drinks on it. They only gave me credit for one because they don't know how to look at 4@$5.00 equals $20. They count that as 1@ $20
Submitted a receipt for four Jamison drinks they only gave me credit for one. Then I clicked down missing items and I changed it from one to four. They said they reviewed my receipt and came to their conclusion that I only purchased one because they’re stupid.
A friend referred me but Ibotta doesn’t know how to hire people who are not blind or just stupid.

This evening I tried to redeem the $0.50 on my Harris Teeter shopping trip for 2 multipacks of GoGurt yoplait yogurt. But the barcode didn't scan and they are multipacks and they are a Yoplait product. They weren't in the excluded category either. Having a hard time locating the customer service messaging so decided to text it here. Most times earnings are matched and sync well.
