In less than a year of using Ibotta I have earned over $500 dollars. It's easy to cash out your earnings, set up your shopping trips either in store or online. I don't know why anyone would not use this program. Great care and response from customer service. It's $$$ in your pocket for buying brands and products you use. Try it!
My Winn Dixie card doesn't link with Ibotta! I've tried all suggestions such as removing the card and then adding it back to no avail. I usually have to take a receipt picture which is almost impossible to capture correctly. Very frustrating since I purposefully buy certain items for the points.
Everytime i try to put the 6 digit code in so i could get into my account they would send me another number. They it wouldnt take the one that i was trying to put in. It did me like that 9 times until i just stop trying.

I love how easy it is to earn cash back! It's sometimes a little difficult to get the receipt photographed accurately, but in the end it all works out.
I don't know why but my account was on hold. I contacted customer service and they took care of it for me.

They offer bonuses and after completing all the requirements they don't hold up their end of the bargain and you often spend money on items you only bought to fulfill the bonus that they forgot to give you. Then the customer service people blatantly laugh at you and act like they can't figure out what you are saying.

Just starting using the app again. 1st receipt read the date incorrectly so said it was too late. It wasn't. Next receipt didn't give me credit for an "any brand" item. Waste of my time.

I've been using Ibotta for a fee years and it's has been an excellent way to supplement the grocery bill. The staff is very easy to work with discrepancies. Especially Romeo who recently took the time to investigate one for me!
Through several emails, the staff helped me to receive most of my cash back and lastly bonus money. I guess a computer glitch. Thanks to all who helped. Didn't get reimbursed for my bolthouse beverages. I do appreciate all who helped.
My Ibotta account is linked to my Coborn's loyalty account. I went shopping at Coborn's thinking it would be a simple matter to get cash back. Check the items on Ibotta's list, shop, use my loyalty number, pay and get cash back from Ibotta. Like a trip from hell to get even part of the money. Spent so much time resending copies of everything that Ibotta should have had just from my linked loyalty card. Did not receive cash for bonuses that had expired during the time I was dealing with Ibotta customer service. Am not going to waste more of my time trying to receive the cash for them. Even when I tried their online service Carlita she never had any responses that were even remotely applicable to my concern.
I contacted them repeatedly. Need copy of receipt, can't read receipts, need list of items all numerous times. Was advised to unlink from loyalty card then relink. Didn't do that because then I'd have lost all my cash back and would have had to shop again. All my responses were supposed to be added to same original post but the responses always suggested otherwise. Finally got most of my cash back 10 days after I shopped. Never received cash for the bonuses that had expired while I was trying to get my earned cash. Not doing Ibotta again. CS also kept sending articles that had nothing to do with my situation. Continuously.

I double checked item eligible for rebate and app would not accept item. Tried to contact customer service through the app and that was useless. I was taking to customer service to messaging area but no way to leave a message to seek rebate fulfillment.
Far too many products listed at stores I'm shopping at are not on the shelves.
I wasn't able to contact customer service through both the app and the website despite following multiple links to send a message. In the past I have been able to do this but no longer.
It use to be a good app with many items eligible for rebates. Many items I would typically purchase are no longer eligible.

They offer fewer & fewer bonuses at lower & lower amounts. None of the offers show actual expiration dates which makes it hard to plan purchases. In recent months they've allowed multiples of an offer to count towards a bonus, which is a huge improvement to the platform.
Easy to use. Often has high value rebates.

After all the time I spent strolling through the coupons on ibbotta and submitting a receipt I did not get all of my money for coupons. I was supposed to get 8.00 dollars back but only got half of what I was supposed to get.

I so dislike Ibotta, got charged $3.99 from points due to inactivity.I couldn't use the app bcz I don't cater the products that's advertised. Right now I'm in $14. As soon as I reached $20 w/c will take forever & redeem points, I'm shutting this down.
I regret choosing Ibotta. I’m just staying bcz I’m already in $18 (w/c took so long to achieve)waiting to reach $20 to redeem but dropped to $14 bcz the app deducted $3.99 from my points due to inactivity w/c is in the terms & conditions. Ibotta just don’t advertise products that I cater. Uuuggghhh…so frustrating.

I stopped at Food Lion to grab 2 forgotten items. I never gave Ibotta a thought it's not my normal store but the next day I received an email one of the items had cash back and if I added it I'd get the cash back.

I was missing a rebate and they immediately applied it to my account. Not the first time this has happened. It's rare that they don't catch the item but they always come through.
Also, they notified me of an available rebate on an item that I purchased but didn't add to my account. I had time to add it!
Uploaded a receipt that was deemed illegible. I was very confused because this is my normal way to upload (via phone). I reached out to Customer Service to see if there was another way to submit and was told to send via email. There was back and forth correspondence through e-mail for about 2 days and I finally received an email stating that my cash back had been applied as well as the bonuses I was working on that expired during the waiting process. Needless to say Ibotta took care of an old couponing girl like me :)
The item(s) that qualify for a rebate typically never come off or the monetary amount does not get credited to my account.
I tried to upload a Dollar General receipt and a Kwik Trip receipt. There were 2 qualifying items on each receipt. Only one rebate attached and that was the cheapest@.10 cents. Neither the $2 nor the.50 cent ones attached. I've had this app for over to years & it ALWAYS screws me out of $$. I hate this app.

I had a reciept that was not going through and I sent them an email. Found out the e receipt would not go through. I thanked Ibotta for the response and I got another response from Ibotta letting me know that they were putting the receipt through as a courtesy! That's great customer service as I did not expect that!
I wanted to collect $2.75 for my Costco Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser purchase. Unfortunately the app wouldn't recognize the bar code or receipt. Thankfully the Help link connected me to Fe from customer service. I resubmit the items, Wah La. I received payment. Thank you Fe and Ibotta. I'm happy.
This is my favorite rebate app. Very easy to use and always appropriate for the way I shop. There are so many ways to earn rebate cash that you are constantly earning. Thank you Ibotta!

I have been experiencing a lot of issues with iBotta loading their deals, giving me the cash back on items I purchased with a receipt and even after scanning the items. It's really irritating.
It was the easiest app to use compared to others, but recently has been a pain and not worth the effort.

I scanned an item's barcode before purchasing and Ibotta advised barcode matched. Upon receipt submission the Ibotta system did not award me the $2.00 offer. Upon contacting support, I was informed the offer was not awarded because of a coupon used on the same purchase. Gladly, Ibotta adjusted my account with the offer and reminded me the offer cannot be combined with a coupon. I was glad for Ibotta's wonderful electronic communication upon submitting a ticket.
I did not receive cash back from a Sam's purchase as I used their scan and go to eliminate wait times in line. I did not realize Ibotta doesn't recognize paper copies printed on your home computer. I contacted customer service and they were very helpful in helping me get the refund this time. I really appreciate their help and love using their app for cash back when what I purchase is there to redeem.
Almost every receipt I submit is missing offers. Sometimes I have already unpacked the items such as beverage cans from the boxes already and have had to go fish the box out of the trash to scan the barcode from the box. Very annoying. And way too frequent. I really have to pay close attention so I don't miss things.
