If you can tell by the title I don't like to write but for this I will take the time. This is the 1st app that my wife has sent me that I've used, and one that really rocks. I've shared it with my family members so they can do it too and the 10 bucks for each share doesn't hurt. It's somewhat easy to use and I say somewhat because I don't fully understand email and group text is way above my paygrade but this is worth the effort. In less than a week I'm on my way to cashing out a total of $50. I made 25 at Walmart in one hour alone through bonuses and savings on what I purchased. That's Y I gave it 5... all I'm gonna say.

Don't bother. I have been using the app for 6 months, and only saved 20 dollars. Most of the rebate items are things that the store doesn't carry or beer and alcohol which grocery stores don't sell in my state.

I amazed! I kept reading about Ibotta and thinking I should check it out. Over the weekend I signed up for an account, then promptly forgot about it. (In case you haven't guessed, I'm a bit disorganized)
Well I shopped at Walmart this morning, and just opened an email saying I earned $9.00…what?

Ibotta is one of the easiest cash back/rebate apps I've found. I've used tons in the past and the innovations that they come up with are the best. Since COVID I use Walmart delivery pretty often. Ibotta let's you click through to do the shopping through the app. That's wonderful for a few reasons... I know what qualifies because it's right beside the item, I can shop from my Ibotta list and I stick to the list/budget shopping online vs in store.
Of course the rebates are on name brand or more expensive items, that's how manufacturer's get you to try their products. That's expected and fine with me, it's easy to decide if the cost is worth the rebate. Their bonuses are great and cashing out is easy too. I usually get my cash back in minutes. It takes extra time but it is absolutely worth it! I'm including a screenshot of my current earnings. I've been a member a little over a year.

So ive been using ibotta for 3 months i have $122 life time saving. Mind you cashing out to the same PayPal account and now im trying to cash out $32 to the same PayPal address and it keeps telling me "sorry something went wrong we couldn't process your request.we're looking into it. But you can reach out to ibotta for help. Well i did its going on day 3 and still nothing. I really wanted to like this ibotta app. But not if its going to be a headache to cash out... i will give a 5 star when im able to cash out... ill keep y'all posted..

I get very little rebate because I choose to purchase mostly non. Processed foods and no alcohol. All the rebates are for ‘organic', expensive, processed foods and booze. I only get about a quarter a week so it's hardly worth letting them leach my info for it.

Since I'm retired, I dont hear about new products to try in the grocery store.

When someone in the office tried a new product, we shared the information whether or not it was worth trying, too expensive but very tasty. Now I rely on Ibotta! Thank you Ibotta

I absolutely love Ibotta. It allows me to purchase a ton of my favorite brands of food and drinks for cash back. They offer such a large variety at various stores. It truly is an awesome deal and app!

Trying out this app to get their $20 intro promotion, I found you have to do 9 items in 14 days to receive the bonus. Not easy to do. The main problem seems to be the single size items like sports drinks, energy bars and others are not available even at my Walmart Super Store. The items that are featured as "free" in that they refund you the purchase price are also non-existent of mostly not available. You can find the larger package sizes or bulk items but as they are brand names, the cash back is only 50 cents or a dollar and not really worth the time to use the app and wait on your cash back.

I used them for almost two years. The rebates initially were good. Then they got pretty lame. I got tired of uploading receipts for just 10-50 cents.
So many times online shopping cash back doesn't come and you've to reach out to ibotta (who take days to respond) and don't always help. They insist I've got the rebate and the issue is on my phone. They take 2-3 days to advice me click on refresh' and the credit will appear when it doesn't. Then two days later I get an email saying exit the app and try again - absolute waste of time and horrible customer service. Personally I think they don't have the option to call because they really need two days to figure out the problems with their apps. Long story short - it was ok until it got really bad and I realized the stress and time invested in dealing with them to get the little change they give is just not worth it. My time is more valuable than arguing to prove that I am right via email with ibotta.

Ibotta is a real AWESOME website/ app. I get cash back for buying products, everyday products. And the sign on bonus and bonus you get for referring friends is awesome too. I like that you have team mates. You can build your team up and reach the goal together! So no gimmicks! Easy to register and easy to use. Just shop, but before you do check the list before hand and then once your done shopping,

I've been using ibotta over a year now and have earned 265.00. It's tedious and time consuming, that is the truth. Pending times vary, some longer than others, but that's clearly stated if you take the time to read the offer. NEVER have a problem getting payment. I get gift cards and they are in my email in minutes. I've never one time had a bad experience.

Like most apps, the more you use it, the more you discover what's available. While there aren't as many offers that appeal to me for specific grocery items (although I have found several even at Walmart) the cash back just from shopping at stores really adds up.
Also the digital gift cards are RACKING it up for me. New specials pop up all the time, like 5% cash back at REI, but I saw some with 15%. YAY. It was worth a couple extra clicks to get cash something that I needed anyway.
The other biggie has been Viator. I usually book tours with various apps when on vacation, but now I use them exclusively and have earned over a hundred bucks on fun tours that we had planned to do anyway.
I certainly won't get rich using ibotta, but since I enjoy online shopping and bargain hunting, it's totally worth it.

I have used Ibotta for about 10 months and have received about $200 in cash back. That's the good news.

The bad news is I made my first online purchase through Ibotta recently and within six hours, my bank was contacting me because someone hacked my credit card info. The hacker made an unauthorized purchase and attempted to make two ATM withdrawals.

I have been exchanging emails with Ibotta's customer service about the hacking issue. They apparently don't have anyone who investigates cyber security issues because they just keep telling me they take your personal data seriously and have a 256-bit bank level encryption. So... that doesn't explain how my credit card info got hacked and how they are going to prevent it from happening again to me or someone else. I will NEVER make an online purchase through the Ibotta again.

The concept was good when I first heard about it. I started using it and it did pay out, but you pretty much have to buy what's on the app. Most of the time the things on the app is not what I need or desire. I usually earn my money back on detergents. Once you buy something, they figure that's what you like or need then you will see it. I don't need it anymore by then because I already got it. You have to fish for savings therefore, I think will just go back to coupons. You can sometimes highlight what you bought from your receipt and it will not register. I lost a lot a money when I thought I was saving. Once I get to the amount to cash out, I will not be using that app anymore.

Ibotta is ok. Was way better when I started a couple years ago. Now their product list seems to have change considerably. I would usually get money back when I purchased the tried-and-true products that I've used for years. Now different products (more costly) have taken their place. I can't redeem as many products as before since I don't buy what they have on their list. It's taken me close to 3 months to get to $3.75. They've also changed their site whereas you could find a product right away because the headings were across the top of the page. They eliminated that, so you have to scroll and scroll to find the product you want to check out to see if it's listed. Really not worth the effort. Thinking of calling it quits with this one.

I was diagnosed with epilepsy within the past few months and had to cut back on my work hours and job I do at work. Stressing whether I will still remain employed. Due to cutting back on work hours I started using Ibotta to save money and help towards electric bill, car insurance, etc. Needed the extra money for an insurance bill and went and used Ibotta to stock up on items we needed and that were on sale. Total bust. Submitted receipts 10 days ago. Nothing. Customer care keeps flagging my issues as solved. Can't withdraw money so wasted my time and energy attempting to save money and make money. Be a responsible adult. Handle my business. Second time issue came up in a month. Sad situation

You will collect cents and a couple dollars by purchasing obscure items or alcohol. When it comes to any Online shopping though, DO NOT TRUST THEM. You will see a 5% offer to buy something online, and make a big purchase to get that bonus, but your big credit won't track. They will have reasons why your purchase didn't meet criteria or did not qualify.Don't expect to get anything over a $3 back online. It's all lies! Customer service took FOREVER. Then you got news that sorry... no credits. Ibotta super sucks!
