I made an online delivery order, I ordered ice lollies/ice cream and they all arrived melted! I was so disappointed that they were no longer in the original shape anymore and I had to throw one box away as it leaked all over my floor! They did not provide any ice bags with it, also if a customer has ordered ice lollies/ice cream then that order should be one of the first to get delivered. How diabolical.
I have shopped at Iceland since they first opened and have always been reasonably satisfied, but teasontly a new Iceland had opened in the merrion centre Leeds. It never holds much of the goods that their other shops hold. If you complain all you get back from the assistants you are told that's all we have the attitude is take it or leave it. There is only ever one checkout open no matter how many people are waiting. Quite a few of the checkout assistants take more time gossiping Than looking after the people who pays their wages. If there not careful this branch will go the same way as the Kirkstall road branch which is due to close anytime now which behaved the same way.
After the most crippling gastroenteritis, I placed an order and forgot lemonade! The thing I needed the most. Phoned customer service in tears and Ricky was an absolute star! Sorted it within minutes. Order Delivered on time, by Luke ( Lincoln) everything I ordered was there- 5 star treatment. Thank you so much.
Turned me down why tell people it's to help the vulnerable and old people then saying you can't have it LD rather starve I've had my heating disconnected if you can't afford your bill then how can you afford to pay Iceland back l think and hope people cancel their direct debits to Iceland and leave debts owing l suspect that will happen after people have had these loans good luck getting your money back Iceland
Can't believe Iceland left a woman to go hungry for 3 days because they failed to deliver her shopping, then when finally turned up they didn't deliver the full order.

I use Iceland to order food for my small budget hotel, recently there is lots of missing deliveries and items I paid for not delivered, seems that the driver is stealing the orders and mark it as delivered I reported the issue to Tilena over the phone and nothing has been done my order reference is: ******* of 29th September the total order wasn't delivered or refunded was just stolen by the Theif driver and marked as delivered. Be aware Iceland drivers are thieves and Iceland company encourage them to steal the customers orders and complete lairs.
I've used Iceland home delivery since they started back in the late 90s. They were the first high street grocery store to deliver in my area. Unfortunately over the past 6 months their standards have dropped so much that I have stopped using them. The main issues are very poor quality of fresh produce, items on or past their use-by dates and defrosted frozen produce. After having to throw away 1/3 of my last delivery as unusable, I called a halt. I've talked to customer service, written to them, taken picture of melted warm liquid ice cream taken only minutes after the driver has left. But they are not interested. The last response came from a no-reply e-mail address... asking me to reply with more information! That told me that they have no interest in raising their standards back to where they used to be. I think (at least in my area, south London), they are palming off almost unsellable goods to minimise their stock write-offs. Very sad, but won't be using them anymore. Customer loyalty and quality service mean nothing to them.
Iceland Minted Lamb Chump Chops 300g
I bought 3 packs of these giving me 9 chops (if you can call them chops).
Each chop's maximum thickness was 1 cm on one side which I would've accepted. However, the other side of the same chop was less than a millimetre thick. It was a sliver(cut screw) and this wasn't just on one chop. It was an all 9 pieces.
When I tried to cook them up, the one side was uncooked because it was thick, and the other side was burnt, because it was so thin.
I contacted customer services 10 days ago I sent them the photos of the barcodes and the pictures of the chops and I still haven't got a refund for this and it all wound up in the bin. I've bought several shops with ICELAND but I think this is the worst I've ever had especially with regards to customer service getting back to me or refunding me. Not sure I'm going to be shopping with ICELAND because of this whole experience. Both Tesco and ASDA seem to do the same thing with much better quality and at least the chops are evenly cut. It was a really bad experience and I'm now £9 out of pocket
I do my fortnightly shopping on here, love the site but wish they offered more discounts like other online stores.
Made online order on 3rd of April for home delivery. As me an my partner actively go to the gym we decided to try the exclusive online protein meal offer for £35 (10 meals) which would cover us for a week of dinner. Before my order turned up i received an email saying that 3 of these meals are out of stock and they providing me with a refund. I immediately called Iceland's and said i don't want refund ( why no one contacted me to ask first?) please substitute these meals with the other protein meals that is available and added on my order. They directly pushed back and said refund is now issued and they cant do that. Iceland's always use to be good and subtitle items with others if it is out of stock and i know because i am their regular customer and always shop with them. Not any more. I ask them kindly to not refund it and provide me other meals as it is 2 of us for a week dinners, and one of us now will have no dinners because of that. I even offered to pay back the refund they gave me ( which was still not in my account) to them so i can get these meals in this delivery, they said they cant do it. I also offered to order online again but asked them to cover the difference as buying 3 meals is more expensive, they said cant do that i need to order minimum £35 and i said it is their fault they did not give me a full deal and they should allowed me to order as they the ones that messed up. They said they cant do it. I reached out to them via email explaining that i am not happy as non of the resolutions I offered was good enough for them and they didn't want to help, once emailed the customer service advisor Amy responded once with completely irrelevant email to my problem and then i responded again and she completely ignored my email and no longer responding so defiantly great customer service. I am very disappointed how they handled the situation and instead of trying to help me to resolve this they just left it and ignored me, as mentioned i am their regular client but after an experience like that i will defiantly not shop there again, so they lost a customer ( that bring them regular business and spent quite a lot of money) hopefully people will see that Iceland's only cares about money and not their client, very disappointing.
