After reading many negative reviews I did have some concerns. I purchased furniture which is absolutely identical to that of another discount furniture retailer. BUT I only paid half the price. Collection was straightforward. A huge thumbs up.
We now own a busted couch (springs broke and couch now has a dip in it). If you're happy to pay $1,000 for a couch that will last less than 18 months, furniture might be the store for you.
I would rate this company negative 10 if it was possible. All we can say is 'Beware- you get what you pay for'. If you want cheap- iFurniture is indeed the company for you. If you want time wasting, aggravation, incompetent staff and given misleading information, then you've come to the right place.
We paid $4600 worth of dining table & 6 chairs, 2 couches, coffee table and tv cabinet on 22 Dec 2018 and asked for these to be delivered on 14 Jan 2019. They said there might be some delay due to Xmas/NY period. We understood this and asked them to update us as we had no furniture at all. But come 14 Jan, no call. So we called Chch store and were told the furniture hadn't arrived. No apologies. After pushing for timeframe they gave us use of what they had, which were their showroom display dining table, 2 couches & the coffee table. We were promised our order would arrive in 2 weeks. That time came and still no call. Went to the store and spoke again to staff complained as we had no chairs to use while having dinner. We were loaned 4 chairs. The delivery guy had the cheek to tell us to make sure we kept their chairs new. I said 'No. We'll use it and return it as is- used- as they were display'. Then discovered it was covered in bird poo! When finally the first lot of furniture arrived, one of the couch's 2 legs were missing. We told them about this. They wouldn't believe us at first. Then had to wait another week for the legs to arrive from Auckland! After lots of toing and froing and complaining - finally all our furniture arrived early March 2019. This company doesn't know anything about customer service. We strongly recommend you avoid iFurniture. The cost doesn't justify the aggravation.

I SEND A EMAIL TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ABOUT BED QALITY ISSUE.THEY REPLY AND ASK FOR MORE PICTURE. I SEND BUT AFTER THAT THE DIDNT REPLY MY EMAIL.

Package dimensions were not mentioned on product page, contacted chat support, the took my email to later send me the dimensions, next day contacted again and same thing happened, twice raised the issue on customer portal, but still they say that warehouse staff doesn't have 30 seconds to measure and respond customer request. What a joke.
So they told me the package dimensions on the day of pickup and when we called twice, and raised the issue 4-5 times, and I came to know that the size won't fit in the Citihop Hiace Cargo Van that I booked for an hour, in one go. So I will have to do 2 trips, and exceed the booking. At the same time I was looking to book delivery but their call canter wasn't confirming or committing or even informing about the delivery date before the payment, the same tactic they used when I asked for the dimensions (you pay then we will let you know I paid on Wednesday and till Monday night they didn't had the dimensions handy). They were saying that it will go back to auckland and will be delivered in 7-10 working days.
Overall experience is worst, was thinking to buy a mattress and a bed as well, but will look elsewhere now, that wasn't the experience I was expecting. I guess its better to buy what's insotre and pickup the same day, don't go for any future commitments,
I am still sceptical about the quality of the product, hope it will be better than the quality of Service.
They don't have any public feedback system, so putting the feedback on google maps and trustpilot, so other customers should know what they are opting for.
After posting review on Google and Trustpilot, they called and informed me that if I pay for the delivery today, I'll get the products delivered atleast by Saturday. The same they told me before making the payment that if you pay for the invoice today, you can pickup from Hamilton store by Saturday 15/7, but the next day after payment the pickup date was set to 18/7, and today since morning talked twice, with no pickup time as the order has been in transit as yet, so it looks like that won't be today I guess and a day later that's 19th
