Update: package arrived this evening, thank you. Is this company a scam? Will I ever receive my order? My package has been waiting for courier to pick up for over a week. Customer service is useless. I will have VISA reverse the charges. Regret buying from iHerb will pay more and buy from Amazon instead.
I suffered 5 order rejections in 24 hours: iHerb dare to imply card problems, but a check with my card issuer reveals no card declination: transactions were approved and the approval was active until cancellation was initiated by iHerb: yet iHerb dares to imply "lack of funds", "suspicious activity", a load of bull:
Do not order from iherb. DHL-their courier- is a rip off and iherb does not remotely understand the meaning of customer service. There is no real refund in reality as thier fees are structured in such a way as to make it meaningless.
Not clear that the goods are coming from America and that you will need to pay duty on top of there so called competitive prices... if you make the mistake of ordering from these people do not accept delivery and get your credit card company to chase payment and dhl to chase import fees from them. The delivery driver said that they get this situation a lot with iherb... hopefully it will end up costing iherb so much that this company will go out of business
Basically this is the e-mail they sent me after I request for a refund:
I mentioned in my previous email that if your order is returned to us due to a banned/restricted products policy, a wrong address, refusal to pay customs fees, refused to accept the order or because no one was there to accept delivery of your order, we will refund your credit card as follows: You will be refunded the total amount of the order, minus the shipping charge and the return cost. Also, refunds will not be issued until the returned package is physically in our warehouse. However, since the total cost to return the package, including the duties and taxes is more that the amount of your refund, iHerb requested to DHL to abandon the package, hence, no refund will be processed.
If you have any additional questions or you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.

I placed an order for product from IHERB and 3 of their shipments were damaged in shipping and never reached me. One replacement shipment was lost. I've been overcharged and the only customer service is outsourced via chat and they're useless.
I'm now out over $100 and unless I dispute the charge with my bank I'm pretty much out of luck. I will be reporting them to the CA Office of Consumer Protection
I ordered 4 products, never received an email confirmation. One product missing. I have no way of getting invoice as they have no copy of my purchase. They claim they cannot do anything unless they have my email address. I provided them with address and it shows I didn't buy anything from them. My Mastercard was charged. They need to find a way to find your order besides an email address. I am pissed because I got ripped off with one product yet they did not include an invoice. I provide as much info as possible including a picture of box with ref #; my phone number; my emails; my last name which is the only one in Canada to no avail. Year 2021 and today's technology and they have no other way to track my order/invoice. Idiots

They had two products that looked identical, yet were different. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong thing. It was shipped quickly, however when I tried to return it they were very dismissive. I was told I would have to pay three times the original shipping fee to return it making it a big loss for nothing.
Then a couple of months later I received a customs bill amounting to a third of the order. It has been an expensive mistake ordering from them.
The first order was ok. But the second order is a misty. The shipping agent is asking for another £28 on top. Yet we had paid the full amount plus shipping costs. We were expecting our products on Thursday but dhl is holding it. I have tried contacting iherb but I am not getting any response for more than 24 hours. Am really surprised because I have seen good reviews

I had to pay an extra £21 for vat and delivery charges. I am just fuming. Surely this Should be added to at the time of order. What a dishonest company.

A terrible site and bad customer service! I placed an order 3 weeks ago but still no shipping until now although i have contacted them many times. I cancelled my order today and will never buy from them again.
Nowhere during the iHerb purchasing process does it tell you that - 1, the goods come from the US and that 2, there are additional importation charges to pay once the goods have been shipped.
For those saying it is up to buyers to research importation charges themselves - I would have done had I known the goods were coming from abroad. But everything is made to look like it is a UK site with a US head office and they do not tell you otherwise.
I will never buy from such a less than forthcoming company again.
IHerb used to provide excellent service. Now it's horrible. Their customer service is non existent. I've been waiting for an order to be shipped for a week and every response I get is different and complete garbage. They charged my credit card incorrect amounts and no response to my queries on that.
Do not buy from this company. Not sure if they even have people or robots. Placed a repeat order. They sent the wrong product. Have no system to ship correct item and order a pickup of the incorrect item. Nor does each "department" have the ability to know what the other "department" said or did.The same old questions all over again. After 2 hours between live chat and emails I got them to agree to a refund. Then I had to pack and get to a UPS store. 2 weeks after receiving the product back I still did not have the refund. Had to go through the same process over again. 2 days later after this agony, a credit was received. And it is not over, they tricked AMEX and told them the refund was given much earlier. Liars, robots and cheaters.
This one star for review of iHerb is because of extra cost, my e.g. is that I ordered order where I payed shipping, but I received another bill for shipping, company who delivered the order to near store where I can pick it up.
IHerb order with shipping: 52 euro
Extra cost for shipping: 18 euro
After all, iHerb support act like that is normal. (without deeper details, but they said "sorry")

This used to be my go to for supplements. Always the best prices and only a $20 minimum for free shipping. The rewards were great too. Now, they don't even have a shipping policy anywhere on their site and i tried to order something today for $37 and they wanted $5 for shipping. There rewards went down from 10% to 5%. Plus, their once great prices are now as high as everyone else's. I'll go back to buying things on EBAY.***SIGH

I bought 2-items and shipment method was next day but until I don't have what I bought from there portal. I sent email to customer care telling them that I didn't get my items no body answered me yet. At same time you don't see there website phone number and so on.
I'll not wast my time and I don't recommend anyone to order from this portal or application.
It is not made clear on the website that extra customs charges are likely to be imposed by your home country. If you're not already familiar with the extra costs of ordering items from a company which is not VAT registered in your own country, this could easily be a big shock when the item is delivered. My customs charge was more than the cost of the original item.
I guess I didn't do my research like I thought I had. Now I find a review from September telling how they add duties and tax to Canadian shipments. The fine print! I have had other products shipped into Canada and have not had this charge so I sure was surprised. Definitely not economical to ship to Canada by buying from them once you factor in that. Also if you are not home during the day to receive the courier you have to arrange to get your package. Seems to be easier places to deal with as DHL isn't the easiest in our area anyway.

BEWARE IF YOU ARE CANADIAN AS THEY WILL ADD OVER 30% FOR DUTIES AND TAXES. PROBABLY A BROKERAGE CHARGE AS WELL IN THAT AMOUNT. COULD BE THE DHL EXPRESS BUT IHERB ARE THE ONES ARRANGING THE COURIER.
I ordered products on May 13. The package has never been delivered. IHerb does not seem to care. They sent me an email saying they are not responsible to issue refunds or reship orders. I have been in contact with the shipping company that iHerb hired to ship product to me and they say they will ship when it is returned to them. So where is it now? Why do I not have it and why does iHerb not care about customer service? Research shows it is cheaper to retain customers. But they are not even trying! I will never shop with them again and suggest you find another company to buy from.

When I got them, I found out that the products were second-hand and they were used by someone.
I have issued many refund requests. But, NO ONE refund request is approved.

Really! I live in Alberta and they delivery usually takes more than 3 weeks but still I manage my scheme to stay well supplied from those guys. Why I love it? Because they sell cheap, the products they sell is high quality and the product advertised is never different of what you receive. Isn't that great.
Be advised that if you live in Canada and order with delivery by DHL you will get charged with taxes. Do not use the that type of delivery it is expensive and you would have to pay taxes. Use international mail. It cost you time but you don't have to pay taxes over your purchases.

I had an order I placed where 2 items were on special and the total was $21.55. It showed this total including tax and shipping. When I clicked on check out tab, it brought me to another screen were the total was around $23.05. There were no changes in tax or shipping, so the price of the items had changed behind the scenes. When I went back to the item pages where the items were listed as being on sale minutes earlier, the sale was no longer showing. This is a bait and switch tactic, as both items were supposed to be on sale. Buyer beware! And always check the prices/total in the cart with the information shown in the checkout area. Please refer to the attached pics to see the pricing show in the cart vs the pricing shown when I checked out. Not cool!

Why are you not showing one shot price like healthkart, Flipkart or Amazon, As I want to purchase ON 100% Whey isolate its price is showing Rs. 4512, Now comes the twist in the tail,
1. Adding Rs. 997 as delivery charges from DHL.
2. Adding GST@ 28% on Rs 5284, SO now the price will be Rs. 6764.
3. Adding import duty 30% on Rs 4512, which is Rs. 1353
4. So in the end I Herb is selling, On 100% Whey isolate for Rs. Rs. 8117...
In Indian Market from any authenticated shop if we want to buy this supplement we will get it from around Rs. 6200 to 6500...
IHerb does not have a contact number. The chat service doesn't help. I sent several emails. My account was "blocked due to suspicious activity" (no idea why) and the order did not arrive. The chat does not work. The following request numbers were created but not resolved:

I have followed up on multiple occasions but still cannot access my account.
Also, I do not know when my order # ******* will arrive as I have received no updates and am very frustrated with the poor service.
There website has all 5 star reviews which is impossible and a red flag. Wish I read these reviews before I placed my order. READ THE REVIEWS, then leave iHerb.
I LOVE this company! I order the same article every time, and all I have to do is click on three buttons-- recent orders, reorder, send.
Done.
Shipping is fast ( the meds are critical for my dog, so I order in lots of time) and the item arrives well packed.
