I am surprised to see the people 's unfortunate experiences from the site here. I have not had a single problem since I first used the site...I have purchased 3 wallets from here and the are soft, gorgeous recieved on time. I would like to get a bit more from them in the future
Placed an order on 09/19/21. I received an order number but no confirmation email and the funds have already been taken out of my account. It's hard finding contact information to inquire about my purchase. It's been over a month and still no updates. I will be disputing the charge with my bank. TOTAL SCAM!
The bag I received was clearly a damaged reject, folded and creased, thrown into a huge box with no stuffing, no paper or plastic for protection, no dust cover, and no paperwork or warranty. Multiple calls to customer service went to a recording and the only response to multiple emails stated,"This email confirms that we received your message. We will contact you shortly if your message requires a response." Buyer beware: you have no recourse if you have a problem. I have bought at least 6 purses from this company, but after this problem, I will not reorder again. I posted this review on their site, and they removed it.
I placed an order and received a bag that was damaged and missing the dust bag and strap. I was told I had to pay return shipping even if it is their fault. They NEVER honor return shipping for problems. So I paid to return a damaged bag which clearly was a return and the inside even had markings like it was used. I did a little research and found complaints all over and read that this place sells seconds and returned bags only, nothing is new. That is why they have such great prices. I guess it is true you get what you pay for so if you feel lucky and don't mind getting a bag that someone else returned then ok but no where on their site does it state they are selling you a returned bag.
Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Unfortunately, I missed the 30% off promo code, so I called within one hour of placing my order online, and was told they could not refund me the difference and they could not cancel the order. After reading the reviews I'm now more concerned I might not even receive the bag. How in the hell is a reputable company like Dooney and Bourke even associated with this company? As a business over myself, I know that every company that processes visa and mastercard has the capability of issuing a refund. Shady business practices. Buyer BEWARE!
Seems like another site selling Dooney & Burke bags at great sale prices like www.dbbagsale.com that no longer exists. Money went to company in Spain and still no purse. Please careful because if it's too good to be true it usually is. Pictures look beautiful.
Don't get caught ordering from I Love Dooney. They sell counterfeit purses. There is no way to get in touch with them because the email they list does not exist (*******@hotmail.com). Their phone number has one recording that says, "Subscriber mailbox is full. Try later." Phone number is *******879. All their ads list that their purses are genuine Dooney & Bourke. Will call American Express on Monday to put this charge in dispute. What a royal ripoff.

I ordered and paid for a leather tote ($200) and NEVER received it. Customer service said it was delivered. When I complained. They said they would do an investigation. It has been 2 months and I have not heard a peep from them.
It is not worth the money loss and aggravation to gamble on this site again!
Customer service is horrible. You'll end up talking to east coast rudeness. I contacted the company three times about an order and needed to cancel, but I got no response. I had back surgery and finally was able to return the items and they said it was passed the 30 days! I explained that I tried three times with no response and I was told to check my email for a ups label IF they could return the items... not surprising NOTHING!
I purchased a bag with a promo code, within 7 days there was a new promo code for another $30 off. They refused to do a price adjustment. Who does business this way?! A second promo within 7 days is like a bait and switch. No thank you.
On the Thursday before Labor Day 2016, I received an offer for 30% off. I placed an order for $400.00 and was never prompted for the discount code. I called the service number immediately and was told they could not honor the code because my order was already being processed. Really? Within minutes. But the service gent told me he would look into it. One week later I called and requested an update, still no action. I asked for a supervisor, who told me, nothing could be done once an order is placed. I failed to mention, that on day one I told the service dept, to cancel my order if they could not honor the 30% off. This company is NOT user friendly. I would highly recommend to not use it and furthermore boycott Dooney and Bourke if this is how they treat customers.
I ordered a Dooney tote bag that was promoted by Brad's Deals site. Received an order confirmation and then didn't hear from them for 4 weeks. I finally emailed their customer service dept., who told me the item was out of stock. Not sure they would have ever told me if I hadn't reached out to them. Received a refund a week later. Poor customer service and am feeling like they never had the item in stock...
I got one purse from this site and I thought, "Huh, that plate looks funny." It was a little damaged, but I was going away and kept it anyway. Then I ordered another and saw that the stitching is off. OK- this site sells the irregular merchandise. If you send it back, you must pay shipping. Forget it- I will never buy from them again.
I placed an order and used a 10% coupon code which was "defective". I called customer service to inquire about it and they said there is NOTHING they can do. They told me I cannot cancel my order, I cannot be given the 10% off and all they could do is give me a future 10% off on another order. Totally unacceptable. This is the worst trap ever and now I am stuck with the money I paid them and no customer service or anything they can do! Shame on them for using a good name to do terrible business! Don't buy from them!
I ordered a bag in July 2018 and received it a few days later. The shipping was fast, however, the bag came without the shoulder strap as it should. The customer service replied to my email regarding the missing shoulder strap the day after I contacted them. I am happy with their response speed but not necessarily the suggested solution. I was suggested to return the bag, but the return shipping cost would be on me. I had a hard time understanding the recommended resolution to the situation as its a seller's mistake. They also mentioned they do not have straps to send.
What's even worse is I tried to leave a review on their website however they moderate it and informed me it will not be posted.
If I could give it a 0 I would. This is highway robbery. The bags are fake and there is no customer service to talk to. I should've known better when the "sale" and "promo" left them at $20 each. I let them have it, but each time I know of someone about to purchase I tell them.
I am looking at starting a competitor company to this company after the horrible customer service, people deserve better. Won't take much to be better! They treat people with such disrespect! Just proving a point!

Was never delivered! Called customer service and put on hold two times over 3 hours! No one should buy a thing from a company who cares nothing about customers! They lie about customer service, never got item ordered and customer service agent cared less and hung up!! Will post on social media how bad was treated and gladly show how badly treated! DON’T buy from Dooney&Burke. Totally thieves and care less about how they treat you!!!
The customer service is horrible. You can NOT get any customer support. They just give you the run around... no resolution. Managers do not return call after several attempts. If you return/exchange item (s) they try and swindle you out of a fee to do. They are the WORST!
I could not believe that they did not have the address on the label and sent it out, only to have it returned! I do not recommend this company to anyone. Ilovedooney is the sister company to Dooney & Burke. You will be better off ordering from them instead.
I used a promo code and got an awesome price. Only problem they cancelled the order and stated not in stock. But I looked the next day and guess what? In stock. I don't think they liked my sale price and won't fill the order. Super shady. Keep my money 2 weeks and never fulfilled the order. I will never purchase a dooney and Burke purse EVER!
I waited for gift for a whole Month to arrived. It was frustrated at first but I'm so happy I waited. I loved it so much. Recommend this site for gifts and customer service (by email contact) was super apologetic and very nice and assure me to have patience :) thank you
They sent me the wrong bag with the packing slip and order form for another woman in another state. MIstakes happen and while it was annoying I had no idea or expectations that I would be treated as horribly as I was when I called. After being on hold forever, I finally reached a representative who told me that my bag would not be shipped to me until I sent the wrong one back. Seriously! They are holding my bag hostage until I go to the trouble of sending the incorrect bag back. I had no intention of keeping the bag. I want my bag, not someone else's and they refuse to make their mistake right and send me the bag I ordered and paid for. My requests both by phone and email to speak to a supervisor have been met with empty promises. I am still waiting to hear from a supervisor and for my bag even though there is a tracking number showing that the incorrect bag is on it's way back to them. Disgusting!. This is it for me regarding D & B!

I love my Dooneys but will not order from ilovedooney! I ordered 2 to give to my daughters, I didn't see where to enter my promo code. I immediately emailed their Cust serv. They emailed me stating pretty much to bad! It was for $20 credit. I called and was told I have to return and pay fees (almost the full $20) and reorder. Makes no sense... I wrote a review on their site and they emailed me stating my review did not meet their criteria so it was not getting published.!? They should work on their Cust service as much as they work on reading and deleting negative reviews. These are not $20 purses, they should be willing to work with us the clients that want to buy their purses. I have a couple but I bought at Macy's. A friend told me abt this site so I tried it but NEVER AGAIN!
I had insomnia and was on computer at 4am. Decided to order a bag that was the deal of the month (with some stupid promo code) and it said 30% off with yet another promo code. Deal was too good to be true, so I put two in my bag and began looking for a spot to put promo code and i accidentally hit place order! I immediately emailed cust serv and they emailed back that it had shipped, Right, at 4 am on Saturday they had people packing bags. What a crock, Guess they think we are stupid.
This is the second time I've ordered from i love dooney, and both times its taken a month to receive my order. It wasn't even around the holidays. They kept saying they're experiencing delays. This is unacceptable. Will never order from them again. Two times of this run around is enough.
I ordered and was promised delivery by 12/22. When it didn't arrive I was told they could never promise delivery. The package arrived 1/8 and was missing 1 item. After numerous emails and calls - they said they would resolve this and refund the money. I still do not have the item or the money. I have filed a complaint but have not heard back yet. Very frustrating experience.

I'd ordered from this site a few years ago and was disappointed - wasn't happy with what I got and return shipping was high. Couldn't resist when I saw the nearly identical bag I have - that has a broken zipper, companies aren't making the quality they used to - for a fraction of the price. Limited selection of colors, but they were a real deal. Only complaint is lack of communication…I was never given any updates after placing my order and it took a while to get a reply saying they'd already shipped.
