I am surprised to see the people 's unfortunate experiences from the site here. I have not had a single problem since I first used the site...I have purchased 3 wallets from here and the are soft, gorgeous recieved on time. I would like to get a bit more from them in the future
Placed an order on 09/19/21. I received an order number but no confirmation email and the funds have already been taken out of my account. It's hard finding contact information to inquire about my purchase. It's been over a month and still no updates. I will be disputing the charge with my bank. TOTAL SCAM!
I purchased the Pebble Grain Large Framed Purse and the Pebble Grain Zip Top Card Case to match a recent black friday mall purchased Cooper Drawstring Handbag and matching Wristlet wallet. I am going to admit I was nervous about this purchase because I read all the reviews AFTER my purchase. But I am happy to say both items arrived as promised, the quality appears to be as good as my retail purchased handbag and wallet AND I saved almost $100 off retail for these two items! I had a very POSITIVE ordering experience and would purchase from this site again. It seems to me most of their bad reviews are with return/exchange/customer service. Thats unfortunate. Bad CSR's will kill a business, ijs.

I have been a loyal customer of Dooney & Bourke for years. Never had to return anything…. Until now. $20 to return an item is unheard of…. Rip off! Will no longer be a customer.
Made the mistake of using my paypal account to pay because I know that is safer. I went through the whole order and when I finished entering my paypal info and clicked to be taken back to the ILoveDooney website it immediately placed my order without giving me the option to finalize the order and enter my promo code. I sent an email immediately but they were no longer open. I called right away Monday morning and was told there is nothing they can do for me. I have not received any emails saying that my order has been completed and shipped but she told me that it has. The customer has to pay the return shipping if they want to return something so I asked that since they couldn't work with me and adjust the price would they pay the return shipping so that I could order it again with a promo code. She said that there as absolutely nothing they could do for me, they didn't even offer me a discount off a future purchase, they didn't want to help me. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told the exact same thing, "we cannot do anything for you." Extremely horrible service, heads up, if any mistakes are made it's on you and they will not help you at all.
I love this site and have had no problems. Granted, I haven't had to cancel or exchange anything to date. The prices are unbeatable, I'm careful with what I order and very happy with my purchases.

I wanted to check the whereabouts of my item--order ILD*******. Online I was provided with tracking number from USPS. According to this my item was delivered June 28 at 3:28pm. However after inspecting my premises and my home security cameras, I found that no deliveries had occurred. I emailed the vendor at the email you provided and I spoke with a Steve at *******003. After explaining my situation, he put me on hold several minutes and then said his system was down and it would take 10 business days to research and that I would not get merchandise or a refund at this time. This is despite him saying the delivery was insured by USPS. I have no product and no money, and I am being made to wait up to 20 calendar days as a result? This is unacceptable. I should be refunded and the vendor and USPS should battle it out on the side as a separate issue. I will never do business with them again and will report them to every consumer protection site and social media if this does not get resolved. As of 7/9/19 no resolution
I have ordered numerous bags from the ILD website. There were three bags I returned and kept the others. Never a problem with quality or service. Love the bags.

I ordered a Cooper Hobo and when it arrived there was a scratch in the leather on the shoulder strap. I immediately contacted them through their customer service email, included photos, and asked how I could return a damaged bag. I was instructed to do the return through their website. When I noticed the $7.50 return shipping fee noted online, I called and inquired about a damaged item. I was assured by the Customer Service rep I would not be charged if the purse was damaged.
Well, I was lied to. I received a refund, minus the $7.50 return fee. I called them again and she asked me to resend the email with the pictures. Which, I did. She also said someone would contact me in 2-3 business days. No one called.
I tried disputing the fee with PayPal, but return shipping does not fall under their Purchase Guarantee Policy, so PayPal would not do anything.
I called a 3rd time only to be told the returns department determined the bag was in good condition and it was returned back to stock to be sold again. Therefore, I would not be credited for the return shipping fees I was charged.
I have ordered 3 purses from I Love Dooney. They are good quality and arrived on time. I don't have a problem with them. The registration comes with them. They are authentic.
They screwed up on my shipping. No one knows were my purse is. Says fedex buts its ups tracking number. No email receipt. My bag is lost and ilovedooney screwed up on shipping

I have two Dooney and Bourke bags. 1 is black pebble grain and the 2nd is baby blue pebble grain. I bought the second one from IloveDooney and have had no issues with my bag. Just normal wear.
Returned purse, have the UPS return label pic, UPS return authorization pic, have the UPS return received email, have a pic of what was returned in the original packaging, but still have not received a refund. Contacted Paypal and I am now filling a complaint with the PA Atty Generals office.
SPOKE WITH A WOMAN BY THE NAME OF AZORA. HER DEMEANOR, LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNFRIENDLINESS, LACK OF EMPATHY AND MONOTONE VOICE WAS A LACKLUSTER EXPERIENCE AND THAT IS PUTTING IT MILDLY. I purchased a bag and it went on sale. I tried to get a refund of the difference. They refused. I asked to speak to a supervisor, they wouldn't forward the complaint.
They took my money, over two weeks later, stillhas not shipped. Poor customer service, unprofessional, very unfortunate for Dooney and Bourke to be affiliated with them in any way.
I ordered a purse on 12/29 using a coupon code. Now I know why such a "Bargain". There was NO confirmation email sent to me, but they charged my credit card immediately. There was a message on the page stating that due to heavy volume, shipping might be delayed. I tried to sign back into my account 7 days later to check on the order and wasn't able to sign back in. I know that my email was correct, since I had been receiving advertisements from them every day. I never received the password reset email even though I tried 5 times over the next 2 days. Finally was able to contact them by phone last Monday. The CSR couldn't have cared less. Just said that if they were unable to send it within the next 3 days, the order would be cancelled. Apparently it was on backorder, which they didn't disclose anywhere. I received a cancellation email and finally
Got my account credited back yesterday, so at least they followed through with that. In the meantime, I located another purse at the same price on QVC and the "real" Dooney site. I'll give Dooney another chance and see what happens. At least they immediately sent a confirmation email, and the listing on the purse clearly stated "pre-order", so I'm expecting a delay. Will keep my fingers crossedfor a better result this time.
On 1/28/21 I spent over $300 dollars in the ILoveDooney website and they sent my package to a different city and state than the address I provided. The incorrect address is called a Default Address on their website. Three days later I emailed their customer service to try and fix the error. However, their advice to me was to either try and fix the problem thru UPS, or, if the package were deemed undeliverable it would be returned to them and they would then start the refund process. When I contacted UPS the same day they said it was up to the sender to correct the problem. Because, the package was going to travel by both USPS and UPS and, as of that moment, the package continued to be with the sender. They placed the blame on me and PayPal for okaying the incorrect address. But, the error was hard to detect because the first half of the address, the house # and the neighborhood name, was correct. Their website is now asking me to review my orders. However, as of yet, I haven't received the package nor a refund.

Be careful with shipping. They use a Default Address that looks similar to your actual address. But, you will never receive your items and they will sit on or keep your money.

Do not, I repeat, do not buy from this website. They will steal your money and good luck with their rude, unprofessional customer service! Ordered 3 bags (quality and material of 2 of the bags were sub-par & did not look like the online photos) decided to keep one bag and return the other 2. I requested to start a return for the 2 bags. I emailed the co. To let them know that I would be paying to ship the bags back myself. Put both bags in one box with return sheets. I shipped the box via UPS. I emailed the co. Again to give them the tracking number and day & time it was shipped. I get my credit card statement and see they refunded me for the 2 bags but took $7.50 per bag = $15 that they did not credit me for. Called the customer service line, got a rude guy on the phone, who sat there in silence for minutes at a time just sighing loudly, I asked him if he was doing anything regarding my issue & he said he was typing on the computer. Never once did he say I'm sorry for your problem or having to wait or I will fix this for you. He stated at end of phone call that he was putting a request to refund me the $15. Meanwhile later that day after the phone call, I get an email from the company stating that because I requested a return that happen to come with a label, they were entitled to charge me the $15?! Are you kidding me? I don't care if I requested a 100 labels, if I don't use your label and I pay out of pocket to return something, you don't steal someone's money. Ended up having to get my credit card company involved. What a complete mess & waste of my time. As of now I still have not been refunded my money, $15. This is the biggest scam, rip off company. I'm going to repeat again, NEVER buy from I Love Dooney, they will steal from you! You have been warned
